My mother was well cared for at Sunrise. She very quickly grew to love and respect her caregivers, especially, Maria her primary caregiver. Mom relied on her caregivers to support her with all of her daily living needs , including those needs that we're her most private. She was able to maintain dignity to the end of her life. Thank you Sunrise!

Best decision we ever made! This place fits my parents at this stage of their lives perfectly! They have friends, activities, great food, attentive personnel, good care! They no longer just sit in front of the TV or eat alone in their condo. I know there has to be a shift for people to think 'this' is the best way to live: and not stay in their homes; but this is definitely the better way!!

I will never be able to thank Sunrise at Canyon Crest enough for the absolutely compassionate and stellar care they provided for my father. My only regret is that he passed through two other facilities first. I will always believe that if we came to Sunrise initially he might still be with us. Being out of state I had to rely on phone calls and there was never a time when my calls went unanswered. The staff at Sunrise was unfailingly kind and hugely supportive of me and I felt each and every staff member truly cared for us. That kind of care and concern for patients and their families can not be taught it has to be an integral part of those individuals. How Sunrise management managed to pull together such a magnificent staff is a source of wonder to me. I will be forever grateful to everyone on staff at Sunrise at Canyon Crest.

love this place but out of our budget

I'm very pleased with the care my mother receives at Bertram House. I found the staff to be warm and caring. They have become helpers to meet her needs but also have taken time to get to know her and treat her as an individual.

I have visited several Assisted Living places and have found this Sunrise at Countryside to be absolutely the best. The few concerns that I've had have all been addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. My father has resided at Sunrise for a year and a half and I am so happy with everything about the place. The new Executive Director has set high standards for the entire facility; consequently, services and morale have improved. The caregivers and med techs are outstanding and treat my dad with dignity and love! And I visit almost every day, so I observe everything!!!

Sunrise was a great find! It has a small family like atmosphere. The staff was responsive and friendly.

Everything has gone very well so far! My loved one really seem to enjoy it here! It's a nice looking, clean, and well kept community. The staff are all very friendly, and seem to be very attentive to the needs of the residents.

Brighton Gardens has been a great place, and a wonderful find. We needed care that was above what is normally provided by assisted living, but she was also not quite where she would need nursing home care. We have been able to get exactly what she needs here, and while the cost is higher than a normal assisted living facility it is much less expensive than a nursing home. The care is great, and they are definitely worth a look.

My brother and I placed Mom at Sunrise and we have seen her blossom and re-engage with her world almost immediately. We removed her from the previous Assisted Living company for many reasons, the most important being neglect and poor medical management. Sunrise seems to have achieved the perfect balance of care giver to patient ratio and the caregivers are happy in their critically important work. Happy employees are always a good sign. I especially appreciate their efforts on Mom's behalf because they recognize my emotional investment and concerns. I am never "put off" nor "handled" when I express a concern or a need. They recognize the family as part of the team and communication is what they are really good at. Everything is explained well and I no longer feel anxious and worried about Mom. I can sleep now, too!

Beautiful facility! The grounds, the rooms, the dining and recreational areas all very lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. We feel that Mom is in a good, safe place, with people looking out for her best interests. We visited several facilities. Sunrise was the nicest, plus it was less expensive than the others. We are very pleased.

Kind and careing staff. Encourage participation in activities. Clean and very well maintained facility, bright and cheerful.

Our father has really enjoyed the surroundings and care at Sunrise of Chesterfield. He raves about the food choices and friendliness of the staff! The setting is beautiful with easy access to porches and the outdoors, which he was really missing at his last facility. The staff has been exceptional about informing us of his progress and concerns.

We’re very pleased. We checked the other communities and Sunrise was a nice size for an older person. There are a lot of activities. Our loved one likes the food – thinks it’s wonderful. The staff is wonderful. It’s cozy and family atmosphere. They’re very welcoming. Very caring!

Wonderful warm homey place. Best we have seen. Issue is distance, not easy for my mom with mass transit. Working on it.

I don’t live there – my loved one does – so I can’t rate the care services really. So far we’ve been happy with everything. From what I can see they’re very clean and the staff is very friendly.

My mom (71) has been at Brighton Gardens of Edison for nearly a year now. She had a stroke 9 years ago and is unable to really talk or walk. The staff there seems to genuinely love her and she loves them too. They are very attentive and call whenever there is an issue. I think it's really clean and all the staff are cheerful and polite. I think we made the right choice. They even have a dog that lives there...

First of all, we interviewed several communities in our search and this one was the absolute best! Food is exceptional - for the family as well as the resident. It’s natural, not preprocessed. Everything is made by scratch. It was like a restaurant. We would be pay to go there. That’s how good it is. It’s very nutritious. The home care aides- we could pop in day and evening – every one of them was so loving and so kind. The amount of attention from the home care aides is phenomenal. It’s very much like a home like environment not clinical at all. There’s lots of light everywhere!

I have had, so far, a great experience, with my dad being there. Sometimes it can be tough to get in touch with the right person, I just don't really know where to direct my question sometimes. The food seems to be okay. We chose them because they seemed to take the most interest in my dad, and were quick to get an assessment done. They took charge, and came to me. That really helped out, they understood my situation and really worked with me.
