Sunrise Senior Living

Even though this is a facility and not a group home, I really liked the atmosphere and setup of this place (it felt really homey). Location is good, facility is clean, lots of staff (who all stopped to talk to me), residents seemed happy and clean and well cared-for, rooms are nice, etc. Only concern is Grandma having to use a pull cord to get help, but the reminiscence unit is smaller than Asbury and Solana... so hopefully it'll be easy enough for her to get help that she needs? They do offer respite care which might be a great way to figure out if it's a good fit for her.

What a wonderful community. My sister lives at the community in Lincroft. It is very well run. They have a new executive director who brings a lot of life to the place. She also has personal and professional experience with the aging population. Thank you to A Place for Mom for your help during a difficult time for my family.

As a senior myself, it was nearly impossible to care for my eldest sister. A Place for Mom helped us to find this community and we feel so blessed. A new director, Leslie McNamia, started recently and she is so warm, friendly and dedicated to the families. It really puts our minds at ease knowing she is there.

Was super-impressed with Solana--the physical space and the people and the atmosphere and the program.

Very nice , the tour was done well. All my questions were answered. An estimated cost was done by Jenna. She was extremely helpful. The facility was exactly what we are looking for.

When I first came and toured Brighton Gardens, and the many times I stopped by after that, I was completely impressed with them. Jay especially was amazing, wonderful, and so caring. He was really on top of things, he was outstanding. I did tell him from the very beginning that things might not work, I was very aware of her heath, and was concerned about the move. It turns out we weren't able to move her there, not even for five minutes. That being said, they still kept a lot of my money. Maybe as much as 4,000 dollars out of 6,500 or 6,700. Even under extenuating circumstances that they were well aware of, they weren't able to make an exception. The community hadn't even been able to evaluate her yet.

We toured here while we were looking and trying to make a decision. It was very nice, but out of our price range. It was very clean, immaculate. The people I spoke with were very nice, it was a first class place.

Would be very happy to recommend to anyone in my family. 3 different people observed that I was 'on a tour' and mentioned that if I were looking for assisted living or memory care that Sunrise was wonderful. Very professional, welcoming, caring, and committed to providing a happy environment for seniors. Staff are very competent in providing support for seniors who are dealing with Alzheimer's. Extended family members are welcomed and sense of community is created. Facilities are top notch and the food services are great! Pet friendly.

Overall things at Stratford Court have gone very well! The people here are amazingly friendly, and the facility is well kept, clean, and a nice looking place. They also do an excellent job with the food, which is always important!

They've done a great job so far at Sunrise of Fleetwood! The staff has been really oustanding, they made the transition easy and stress free. It really was amazing how helpful they were throughout the whole process!

They're doing a great job at Sunrise of Troy. The caregivers are friendly and attentive, and the personalized attention they manage to give each resident is excellent. They provide a very high level of care, which is good if your loved one is just on the edge of where they may need skilled nursing. The facility itself is beautifully decorated and has a real community feel. I've always been helped right away with any questions or concerns I've had.

Sunrise is beautiful. Staff very friendly. Very homey. Everyone seems very happy!

Our experience with Sunrise at Five Forks has been wonderful, I'd give them top marks across the board. It has a real warm family atmosphere. Everyone here, both the residents and the staff, were very welcoming and friendly, to our loved one and to our whole family. You really get the feel that there is a tight knit community here.

Man! This is it! Terri went over the top with the tour, information and number crunching. Barb and Fred could remain bed buddies (for as long as he's up for it) and the Memory Program for Barb is right on point. I'd like my husband to check the place out, and then go from there. I know we aren't ready to move forward with a date and a plan, but at least we'll know where we're headed.

Overall our experience with Brighton Gardens has been a good one, I'd give them high marks across the board. I just think it's a well run community with a very friendly and competent staff. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and they provide a good amount of care and activities for their residents.

We've had a great experience with Sunrise at Hunter Mill, overall. I'd give them top marks across the board, we're really pleased with them. In particular I think they do a great job with their activities, both the activities that take place at the facility itself, as well as the off-site shopping trips, meals, etc.

Our loved one stayed here for a short time while we looked into the different communities in the area, and overall I thought they did a great job! It is a very nice, clean community, and the staff were all very helpful and caring! The major thing that kept it from being an option for a permanent move was that Mom didn't find the activities intellectually stimulating, they seemed geared toward the 90+ crowd.

They were superb. They did a great job. Unfortunately my mom just passed away, but they were very caring, and attentive, and just did a wonderful job for her.

I am very happy with them so far. I don't have any complaints, I think they have done a very good job. I hope nothing ever changes.
