Sunrise Senior Living

The staff members here are very caring and they treat me very well. The facility is actually getting ready to make changes with the menu, staff, and with schedule to make everything fit perfectly. They do serve 3 meals a day and the food they offer is pretty good. Everyone here has been more than helpful. The community itself is very clean and has a warm feeling to it. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Brighton Gardens of Edison seems to be what we are looking for. There's availability, it's adequately located, their offerings seem appropriate and uncle's situation can be comfortably accommodated. What more can I say. We will seek to move forward with admittance for rehab to start with. Consideration for permanent residency, is a strong possibility.

I think this is an excellent community for people with memory issues. It’s like you’re living in a big inn. They provided the residents with numerous activities that kept people active from morning until night. The only reason we didn’t move forward with this community is because it didn’t fit financially. However, I would have loved to have my love one here.

Small intimate and clean facility. Staff very attentive and friendly. The memory care area was secure. Lots of activities. They are equipped to handle more extensive needs and health issues. The residents seem to be lower functioning than the [Removed]. But that's ok. At least you won't have to move your loved one as their condition declines.

Love this place! The staff is wonderful and it is so cheery and homey inside. The food is really good and it has lots of activities to attend.

The facility is great, the staff is knowledgable. The price is a little high for my budget, but it is not out of line at all. This one will stay on the list as I continue to search other properties

The marketing director [Removed] was very friendly, the facility is beautiful and would have been great, save for the cost, which was too high.

I toured this wonderful nice and clean community. Unfortunately, they had no openings in Sandy. They were very nice and answered all of my questions. The common area was welcoming but had no very large separate activity room, workout room or game room for families. The food presentation was amazing here. If we are ever unhappy and need to move my parents from Carrington Court, this is where we would go. NOTE: Meals for families and all laundry services were EXTRA costs here but NOT at Carrington Court.

Daddy and Mother are adjusting very well here. This is a new experience for both of them, and it wasn't easy at first. Mother is used to doing everything for Daddy, so asking for help has been difficult. I wanted the best for both of them. It was imperative that they live together after 76 years of marriage. I am extremely happy with the service, cleanliness, and professional dedication of the staff. They want to please in every way and are truly interested in my parents' health and proper care. Because of Dr. [Removed], I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone who needs a senior living facility. I have gotten to know and enjoy the staff.

My mom was only here for about 5 weeks and they were so welcoming here everyone knew her name. They were very friendly and very caring to her. The staff had good spirits dealing with her OCD haha. She loved the food and said that it came out HOT! They kept her engaged with the activities cause they knew she liked to be involved. She got the highest level of care very efficiently. I would and have recommended this community.

This place has a very friendly atmosphere and things have been going well for my wife because they take good care of her. The staff is easy to communicate with and they answer all of my questions. I’ve eaten there quite a few times and the food is really good. It seems well balanced and pretty nutritious. The menu offers a lot of different choices, but if you don’t want something on the main menu then there are different options that you can choose. The cleanliness is good, every time I go to visit my wife her room is very clean. They have plenty of games that require physical and mental dexterity, there are quizzes on what’s going on and they help stimulate the residents’ memories with quizzes about their life or the past. The other residents seem happy to be there and they’re pretty friendly. We’re moving to a different community soon, but it’s only because I want to be able to live with her. The rooms here are too small for us to be together.

I visited this community when I was looking at options for my mom. The second I walked in the door I felt a warmth that I hadn’t felt anywhere else. The residents were all so happy and had wonderful things to say about the staff.

This community is nice and clean. His needs are fully met here. He says his quality of life is better since being here. He loves going on the bus rides. He loves the food and they have lots of choices. He is really happy. The staff is friendly and I would recommend this community we like working with them.

We are very happy so far with Sunrise of Bloomingdale. I can literally walk there from my house, and we have found the staff to be very warm, gracious, and as helpful as they can be; not only to my loved one, but to me and the rest of the family as well. I would absolutely recommend this community to others.

Mom was in a skilled nursing home and we had to move her into hospice care. I was hesitant to move her to Sunrise because it was an Assisted Living place and they had no nursing at night (although I think they may have hired one since I was there). The level of care and responsiveness to my mom was truly a Godsend. From the level of care, to the room and even the food it was such a blessing. They were so much more responsive than the nursing home. I thought that Sunrise was for healthy people, I had no idea what a good place this was for my mom. They treated her with respect and they were super friendly. I would recommend this to anybody and everyone. I was relieved my mom was here for her final days.

I helped my friend get in this community. And I love how personable the staff is everyone knows him and his wants and needs. It is always clean and kept up. The quality of the food is good and he cleans his plate every time. He is getting his value worth. They try to engage him to join the daily activities. I would recommend this community.

[Removed] were exceptional! From my first conversation to the knowledgeable and compassionate advice they gave me, I knew that they really cared about helping me transition my Mom into assisted living. Their professionalism and [Removed] attention to detail was fantastic! She thought all the details through with me and even carried some things to the room with me on moving day! Most importantly, she treated my Mom with dignity and respect, and her cheerful personality was very reassuring. The staff is attentive and patient. Special thanks to [Removed] in PT, [Removed] our caregiver, and [Removed] in the dining room. We appreciate you all!

The director gave me a very good tour she was friendly and broke everything down for me. I talked with the medical staff and I was impressed It is clean and nice. It just wasn't in the budget so we had to chose elsewhere.

I was very impressed with Sunrise. Definitely on my list right now. I have several facilities I am still going to visit and compare to Sunrise
