They always kept everything clean in my mother's room and kept her laundry organized. The staff was always very compassionate and understanding. They were very attentive to my mother's feelings and needs. We definitely thought they were providing adequate activities for the residents. We thought Sunrise was a good value. I would highly recommend!

The community is always very clean and they have had cleaning crews come in and sanitize everything. Everybody at the community is friendly and treat my parents with dignity. They are so good with both of them. They have done a great job with the Covid-19 pandemic and have been very communicative and transparent with us about what they are doing to protect the residents. Previous to the pandemic, they would take the residents off-community for trips, which my mother really enjoyed. Definitely a good value for the care that they are offering. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone!

Every time I went there the place was beautiful and always clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The nurses were very good as was the care. There were plenty of activities available for the residents to participate in. Compared to a nursing home, this community was a good value. A little on the expensive side, you get what you pay for.

It is like a home away from home. They take really good of the residents. The food is delicious. The room sizes are good. The layout is good. They have beautiful outdoor space. A few staff members have really been extra wonderful to my mom.

The care is fabulous and don't waste your time looking at any place else, we looked and there is no where better to live. The residents are friendly and happy. The food is excellent with variety offer and room service if needed. The caregivers are just very loving and I have never seen such care and love. They are able to work with the residents at their level and encourage them to follow through with things they need to do. They just did everything in the world to help calm my mother and support her to be comfortable. Sunrise has a clean and pleasant smell through out the building, It is very beautiful and welcoming and it is set up in a homey manner. It really was just a beautiful experience there.

The community always smelled good. The staff really goes out of their way to help with anything. We are moving our mother out right now and because the community is on lock down as the result of the Covid-19 pandemic, they are packing all her things for her and bringing it all to the movers. They took very good care of my mother; she was always dressed, clean, and they were attentive with her care. The only thing is that it is pretty expensive compared to the same level of care I can get for her elsewhere. One of the best people at the community was the receptionist, she always went out of her way to help and was always smiling.

The staff are very welcoming and very supportive. Throughout the COVID isolation, they have been very communicative and very aware of what the families are through going. We have facetime visits and the staff help him with it. The food is nice with a variety offered. They offer at least three choices at each meal. The staff are very good at individualizing things for each resident. The coordinator of the memory care calls once a week and answers all of my questions. When I walked into the place, I just had that feeling and I knew this was the right place. The transition was a lot of hard work and adjustment but the staff handled it beautifully and very positively. My husband living there has offered me peace of mind. It is safe at Sunrise.

We looked at six or seven communities prior to choosing Sunrise and have been very pleased. A smaller community compared to some, the staff is very attentive. They have had no cases of Covid-19 at the community, which says something. They send out a protocol letter every week to let us know what they were doing to protect the residents and the community is still on lock down. The food at the dining rooms is great. I have eaten here several times including for Thanksgiving and Christmas and the food is always good. They have been offering adequate activities, especially since my wife is quite mobile, it doesn't seem that they have engaged her enough in the activities, although that could be because she chooses not to participate. Compared to other communities I have visited, Sunrise is just about in the middle in terms of their pricing. The quality memory care here is definitely a lot higher than some, so I believe it to be a good value.

It is a great place. The food is great. My mother in law just loves to call it home. The people that run it are wonderful. The staff is really good. We got to know all the staff, it a family atmosphere. I feel it is very cost effective. They have a beauty salon. They have a lot of activities.

My mother is a widow and is 91 years old. She lived in another state from all her family for over 30 years, and after my father passed away, she was hesitant to leave their home. However, eventually she consented to look at some senior communities near her children and grandkids. After several visits to our area, and visits to eight senior communities, she chose Sunrise Villa in Olympia Fields. Unfortunately, her move was delayed by all sorts of complications due to the COVID 19 crisis. However, she moved in to her new apartment last week and is now eight days into her fourteen day quarantine. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the folks at Sunrise Villa. From our first visit last November, and every contact since, they are warm and caring. My mother feels so welcome and happy, I KNOW this move was the best decision we could have made. She feels welcome and at home there already. Her meals are wonderful, the people are friendly, and her apartment is beautiful. Thank you, Sunrise Villa, for everything!

They were very good with my wife's hygiene and they did a good job keeping the community itself clean as well. The staff was very warm and made my wife feel like they really cared about her and it made for a lighter time. Activities and food were both very good. Sunrise was a great value for the price considering the cleanliness of the community and the personal care they were providing.

The staff was very attentive to the residents and even to the families that were there visiting. If I had any questions or anything, they were on top of everything. They were all very caring about the residents and their families. We were always very comfortable walking in. I call every week and talk to the manager and they are great about giving me updates regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and how the residents are doing and what the community is doing to protect them. We are constantly informed. I did observe them when they would take the residents to dinner and they were good about encouraging the residents to participate. They are very conscientious regarding the residents' safety and well being, making sure to take all the necessary precautions when a resident is sick. The food is very good. My aunt is on a special diet as the result of her chewing situation and the food when we have visited is out of this world!

I am just so pleased with Sunrise. I feel the my mom is the getting the personal attention that shes need. The care is individualized and they keep in touch with me with any concerns them have. The caregivers are great. The communication is great. They personally interact with me on behalf my mom because she is unable to verbalize now. I have so much peace of mind with her being there and I am so grateful for Sunrise. She is in memory care and they really give her the one on one attention that really needs . It is a great place.

The community was always well organized and clean. So far we are very happy and pleased with our experience. They were very gracious and accommodating when my father passed. The staff makes the families and residents comfortable. The staff is well trained and are very attentive. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been great about letting us FaceTime with my mother so we can see her. Previous to the pandemic, the food was good and they have done their best with making sure the residents are entertained and give them lots of options.

Sunrise was expensive for what was being provided. The management was very competent and the nursing staff was very helpful. Her apartment was renovated when she moved in. Never had a problem with the staff, they were good. The food was very ok, and a little tasteless but other than that, fine. They were very professional.

I think that it is a business but at Bear Canyon estates , it is a home to residents. They hold themselves to a very high standard and I really saw that during this pandemic. They have done everything they possibly could do to keep the residents healthy and safe and they have enforced in. The followed through and enforced the guidelines. They provided a few areas outside where resident could safely visit and social distance. The food is fresh and it is excellent. They have a real chef that strives to provide fresh options with a lot of variety.

The staff is great and they are very friendly. Food and activities are great. I have not heard or seen anything that is bad. With the single exception of the indoor parking. They did ok with response to the Covid-19 pandemic. They haven't given us a price break because we aren't able to work during the pandemic.

The staff was very dedicated to keep the community clean. By the time we arrived at Sunrise, we had been told by another community that he needed a nursing home, which we didn't want to do. At Sunrise, they realized he needed extra care and observation, so they put him in a room right next to the nurses station so they were able to very quickly respond to his requests for assistance.

The only problem we have run into is that they have lost some of our mother's clothes. Everything has been done exceedingly well especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff has done a great job with keeping the residents protected. They have managed well through the resident's isolation by feeding them in their individual rooms. The burden on the staff has been a lot, but they are doing a great job. The community went and bought iPads so we could FaceTime her. We can't say enough good things about the staff and care there. The food is great too and our mother is a foodie. They will also take them off-community for lunch and dinner. They do a very good job with individualizing each resident's care. The grounds of the community are also beautiful. We would recommend to anyone looking for senior living for a loved one.

We compliment you and the entire staff for the outstanding assistance and involvement during this difficult time. Without exception, the employees have menstruated an energetic, friendly, and helpful attitude, include all those who are assisting in mom working outside their regular duties. We realize this is the best place we could be in during these current times and are doing quite well!
