Sunrise Senior Living

My mom just loves living here. The staff is so supportive and welcoming. If she needs anything they respond quickly. It’s a comfort to me that she is well cared for when I can’t be there. We are very happy that we chose Sunrise!

I am a deaf resident and sometimes it’s difficult to communicate but the staff here is always so nice and comprehensive. I find it hard to communicate sometimes but here it feels like I fit in no problem.

What we like the most about the community is the staff was very friendly whenever I was there and always seem to care about my relative and the facility was always very clean

The staff are great and very friendly. They know how to do their jobs. Not much in amenities. Apartments are between 400 & 500 square feet.

Our first impression when we arrived was very welcoming, well decorated and everything is so clean. Our apartment is quiet and we don't hear the neighbors, which is a plus. The apartment is large with good closet space in the bedrooms. And we have a nice balcony to spend our warm evenings on. We also have a nice kitchen with standard size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. We are very happy with our move.

All categories except food would be a five. Food would be a two. They have too many choices and they can't focus on making one good so they're all kind of bland or dry. Everybody is nice in the community and my mom's apartment is pretty awesome.

I had a great experience with Sunrise and would highly recommend. The staff have been excellent. Each person has been patient and answered all questions. Now that mother in law has been there for a couple of months they still contact us with updates on how she is doing. The environment is very nice. Activities are engaging. Would recommend to any family.

What we like the most about the community is that I know my mom is safe and has the feel of her own place/space. She has 3 warm meals a day and is eating better now. The staff is wonderful and helps her when family cant be there. She has other people there to talk/visit with. Overall a great place and would highly recommend. Can do laundry when needed as it's included with the the cost of rents.

What we like the most about the community is the money value, activities that encourage social interaction. Absolutely, we would recommend Sunrise of Pikesville to other families based on the experience!

Community was extremely vibrant, and friendly! All the other residents seemed to truly enjoy living there. My favorite was seeing the exercise class in action. Looks like they had Halloween still up and it was very fun and beautifully decorated

we recently toured this community and it seemed so fun and energetic we really enjoyed our tour with the sales person and even though i am not looking right now i am excited this made my top list. clean and pretty place

The staff we met was great at all the facilities — nothing I could differentiate between on just the visits. Alleged caregiver support, living areas and costs between facilities were similar. The biggest discriminator was the easy commute. Subsequent to the visit — when my wife was at Sunrise after her illness — I was impressed with how the staff worked to get her walking, eating and interacting better — she made a significant recovery — the staff has continued to provide outstanding support for my wife and me. A place for Mom did a great job coordinating our visits. We were presented with several good options in our area. This enabled us to make an optimal decision on the assisted living facility solution. We chose Sunrise of Severna Park as it met all requirements and had the shortest commute.

I have worked with Sunrise for decades now. First with my mom for assisted and then memory care. My sister when her MS got so bad she couldn’t be home. And now my brother-in-law is in assisted living. The care, respect and love they have shown each of my loved ones - gives me comfort that they are or have been in the best place for them.

Your organization and Sunrise saved our lives! I can't thank you enough. I would certainly recommend to others. I just wanna add that they treated my mother like family. Even at times when she was slightly challenging and even a little difficult, they kept their calmness and professionalism the entire time.

My aunt is 93 and lived alone in a house an hour away from me. She didn't want help coming in to the house and she wanted to spend her last days in the home she grew up in.She didn't go out much except for doctors appointments and stopped going to our family celebrations. She even stopped getting dressed, just stayed in her bathrobe. Fortunately my husband and I convinced her to just visit some assisted living places this past summer. The Sunrise Senior Center was the second one we saw and the admission personnel, [name removed] , was very friendly and made my aunt feel very comfortable she showed us around, all the staff was very friendly. My aunt when we left actually said it looked like a nice place to live, the rooms were bright and sunny and a good size to bring some of her furniture there. A month later she moved in????. She likes the food and she is always dressed and looking much better now with eating healthy food! In the beginning I would visit quite often but now only 2 times a week because she has gotten involved in the activities. I even joined the Sip and Paint activity one night and it was great to see the staff so caring and helpful. I cannot express more , from the first day she moved in how grateful I am to have found a safe place for her to live she even has made a few new friends. I highly recommend the place, in fact my brother in law is going to have his mom come see the place.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful the food is getting so much better now that [name removed] is cooking it's really yummy ?? I love it here. This is a great and fun place to be.

I see a few patients for physical therapy. The staff has great communication skills on our easy to approach. My patients are very happy living in this community.

I recently visited a loved one at this facility. All the staff were smiling, and the seniors looked very content. Overall very clean and I'm proud to have my loved one living here.
