Sunrise Senior Living

My mother has been at Sunrise since [date removed] and she absolutely loves living there. She loves that she doesn't have to cook or clean anymore and enjoys the food served there. The people that work there are very friendly and nice to our whole family. It's also nice that she is not by herself and lonely and having people around is comforting. We would recommend Sunrise to anyone who is ready for the next chapter of there life.

We absolutely love the Sunrise of Paramus community, it was a God send and we appreciate everyone's help who made this move possible. It is a beautiful facility, very very clean and no fowl smells anywhere in the community. All of the staff from top to bottom are so friendly and have taken great care of our father which has been a game changer. He is learning how to adjust. The meals and dining service is very good, he does not look like he is hurting for a meal. Every time we come to visit the meals smell wonderful. They send pictures to us and they have a wonderful app where we can keep up with everything they are doing and see pictures of our loved one doing different things. They have holiday parties which is nice. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Good community, this was our second choice. They were going through a renovation.

We went with Sunrise of Scottsdale because of the overall atmosphere of the facility and the fact that everyone here is very friendly. It feels much more like home and less like a business. If I could give the staff more than a 5 I would, they have been outstanding. If there is any issue they pick up the phone and call you. I live on the other side of the country so that means a lot to me especially. They have a variety of room sizes, my dad is in one of the bigger ones but they do have something that will suit anybody's needs. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

We chose Sunrise of Paramus because they were far superior than any other facility in the area. The care for my mother has been phenomenal, they brought her back to life after her terrible experience at another facility close by. I would recommend Sunrise to others without any hesitation.

When I first came to Sunrise on Hillcrest, I immediately felt comfortable, like I was in my home environment. The staff is so friendly, and the activities keep us interested and learning and laughing all the time. I appreciate the great food here, and the homey vibe of the place. I know that the safety and comfort of all the residents is foremost in the minds of everyone who works here, and they do a great job of showing us how much they care. Looking for a place for your loved one? Consider Sunrise on Hillcrest. You'll be so glad you did.

It's great. It's a very warm, welcoming community that feels like a family. During the pandemic, they're very careful about who comes in. They still allow visitors - they just take our temperature, have us answer a small questionnaire, and require that you wear a mask. I think they provide excellent care. The staff are wonderful. They have a whole schedule of activities all throughout the day. And I think the cost is reasonable.

When my parents needed a community that could handle their needs, a friend recommended Sunrise at Hillcrest. The staff, from the Director [name removed], on down to the caregivers have been wonderful to my parents. The staff always has a smile and a helping hand in the day to day activities. [name removed] is a real asset to the Sunrise on Hillcrest community. She along with the entire staff treat my parents as if they were "their" parents. For that reason, my family is very happy we found Sunrise at Hillcrest!

My deepest need was neither happiness nor perfection.. Three years ago when I began my search for the last chapter of my life (with a television ad from A Place for Mom) I bless that day I walked into Hillcrest Sunrise. At Hillcrest Sunrise I found dignity, love, care, and a full measure of creature comforts—in a word, contentment.

I'm very happy with Sunrise. The communication is very open with the family. The resident coordinator told me about the smile app to keep me updated on what my loved one is doing. The staff recognize who the family is. They will keep me updated on my loved one if anything changes. My loved one has told their doctor that they are happy here, and this is important to me. Sunrise is able to assist with medication management for my loved one. The monthly fee covers linen changes, laundry, housekeeping, electricity, and the room. There is a charge for cable if your loved one would like it. There is someone that will come in and cut the resident's hair for a fee. Painting, gardening, holiday celebrations, shadow boxes, and more are some of the activities for the residents to participate in. There are life boxes that the community will assist the residents to remember about their family.

I like this community because it is small and there is a nurse here all of the time. This community is spotless clean and the food is terrific. My mom loves it here. They have activities like art projects, themed celebration days and more for the residents to do to stay active and busy in the community.

The Brighton Gardens community is always clean and they have a ton of different activities for the residents to keep them busy. They go out to different shopping stores like the dollar tree once a week. They drive around to look at big mansions and the cherry blossoms. They have bingo and other board games. They also offer different church services, which is nice for our loved one to go to and learn about different faiths. They bring in live entertainment during the week like different comedians and music groups. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others

The care that my parents are getting is very good. This is location has 2 floors. They offer transportation bus to the store, but not for appointments. They allow pets. They use a portal for billing. The staff communicate with calls and group emails to the family. The residents are friendly. The staff has been very warm and welcoming to my parents.

Great community, the location was too far from family.

This community was really nice. It just did not meet the budget of what my loved one was looking for. The tour and everything was great it was just the budget that did not work for us.

This has been a good experience for my loved one and myself. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The overall care by the staff stands out to me. It is a clean community. The staff are able to assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and medication management for my loved one. They are trying to engage my loved one in activities. There is a website that the family has access to see what my loved one has been up to.

They have excellent leadership at Sunrise, the executive director is just outstanding and she sets the tone for all of the staff there. Everyone we have encountered on every staffing level have been very professional, caring and personable. Anytime we have had a concern which is not often it is always immediately addressed. They really cared for our mother like she was apart of their family, and based on our experience we would recommend this community to others.

I would say absolutely this is the place that you want to be. Your loved one will be well taken care of and be happy with the care that they are receiving. They have activities like games, movies, celebrations for the holidays and more for the residents to do just so they have that feeling of belonging in the community just all sorts of things for them to do. There is also a Clergy woman there also that was able to reach out and speak with my loved one when he needed it the most and I am grateful for this.

We really liked Sunrise of Braintree and everything that we saw, but the price point was just too steep for us. We were also looking for a place where he could have his own private balcony and that is not offered here.

this facility is TOPNOTCH from start to finish. my dad had a wonderful experience as a memory care resident. the caregivers are ALWAYS smiling and the residents know this place is home. everyone on the staff lives up to the mission statements. Sunrise is an excellent facility and deserves the top notch reputation they have earned.
