Sunrise Senior Living

The tour was great, the staff went above and beyond to show us around the whole facility and answer all of our questions and were very nice. I liked everything that I saw and what they offered. The memory care portion of the facility is smaller with less residents.

Sunrise of Frederick has been great. Things started off a little rocky, but it’s only getting better. The staff is very helpful. [name removed], the manager is fabulous. She listens to what you have to say and definitely allows family input. The front desk staff, [name removed] and [name removed], are always willing to help out. The apartments are older but adequate, and the staff definitely outweighs the facility itself. We also like that the community is on as smaller scale and easy to navigate.

If your loved one is an active senior, then this might not be the place for them. However, if your loved one needs memory care the care was excellent for my loved one. It seemed that during the week the staff were more attentive towards my loved one and other residents, than the staff on the weekend. All the staff were very friendly and nice to the residents and family.

My loved one was hesitant to go, and now he's involved in everything. And I believe they really helped with that. I'm very happy with the community. The staff trip over themselves to help everybody. They know everybody by name. Everyone from the director to the cleaning staff is very helpful. One area for improvement is the food is not great. I would like to see it be less institutional. But overall it's a great place for my dad.

I have nothing negative to say what-so-ever, we have been very pleased with Sunrise of Schaumburg. The whole process was great, [name removed] the administrator I dealt with was so helpful and made a difficult situation easy. She held my hand throughout the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone.

Sunrise is a great facility. The staff members really do seem to care about the residents and are more than willing to go out of their way to take care of anything that they need. I would absolutely recommend Sunrise of Lincroft to others.

Sunrise in Summit is just wonderful! The entire staff are excellent at what they are trained to do. The front desk welcomes visitors and keen on conversation while making sure Covid-19 protocols are followed. The caregivers are on their toes making certain that all residents are happy and well cared for. I want to take this moment to thank the entire staff for always being a professional team of incredible health angels!

It's an awesome place. I'm so happy that my mother is there. I couldn't think of a better place for her to be. Overall, everybody is courteous and friendly. They treat the patients good and provide good care. The facility itself is awesome. It's almost like you're in a fancy hotel. And they have activities for the whole day. There's also a cat on her floor that wanders around for the residents to interact with.

we toured Sunrise of East Meadows and the community itself looked lovely. I'm sure their aides and caregivers work hard to take care of their residents. it's also important to note that all of these communities have an amazing sales pitch, where they ensure that they can fulfill everything you're asking for. often times when you actually move in, it's a different experience than what was sold to you during the tour. a lot of places are also very understaffed. I'm unsure if that's the exact case with Sunrise as we chose another community - it just boiled down to proximity and our budget.

Sunrise of Bridgewater is probably the premier place of Somerset county. the sales staff, especially [name removed], was exceptional. she was a very very caring person as was her sales associate [name removed]. they really made our whole (difficult) process a little better. there's been a lot of interruption in the process; Sunrise has been very flexible and I really appreciate that.

This community well exceeded my expectations for my mothers care. The staff are perfect and communicate very well in regards to my loved one. I have seen various activities happening here on a daily basis like work outs, games, music, movies and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. They have something different almost daily and also go outside, musicians also come in to entertain this is a wonderful place. A priest comes on Tuesday to give communion, this is a well rounded very appealing community.

What really sold us about Sunrise of Westminster is that they are done as cottages and it is single floor access so you don't have to use elevators or stairs. The facility is built around the central living room and dining room so it is a very short walk to get to those places from your room. With the help of hospice, they did single person, two person, and mechanical transfers as well. The staff were extremely attentive. We would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

I toured Sunrise of Bellevue for my mom and will go back. Clean, very friendly people, activities and trained staff!

The staff at Sunrise of Five Forks felt very kind, welcoming, and attentive. The only reason we did not go with this facility is because they did not seem to have as many activities provided that I thought my loved one would enjoy.

My loved one loves it at this community. I would highly recommend this community for your loved one and I have already told a few neighbors about this community. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the community. This is a place to consider for your loved ones who need long term care. The staff are very responsive to any requests the family has for our loved one. The room, housekeeping, all the meals, changing of linens, laundry, and utilities are included in the monthly fee. The community is able to assist with medication management for my loved one. The residents seem to have fun with the activities that are offered to them.

I would tell others that the community is very kind, friendly, and considerate of the residents and their families. The staff are excellent to work with if the family has any questions or concerns. Bathing, dressing, emotional support, and Medication Management are some of the care offered to my loved one by the community. Laundry, linen changes, housekeeping, all the meals, and the room is included in the monthly fee. My loved one never complains about the meals. Eggs, bacon, pizza, and sandwiches are some of the items served to the residents. Painting, games, noodle balloonball, fill in the blank activities, music, finger nail painting, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

The staff members at Sunrise have just been phenomenal, they know all of our loved ones likes and dislikes. They know almost all of our family by name and the reason this community is so successful is because of the staff. It is very welcoming right when you walk in, everybody seems so happy. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely 100% recommend this community to other families.

Sunrise of Morris Plains was a great facility but it was too big for our loved one. There are a lot of residents and she needs more personalized care. The bathrooms were also in the residents rooms and we were nervous if she fell in there it would take them a long time to find her.
