They were fantastic from the initial meeting and tour to checking out four months later after my Mom passed away. Mom was at another and more expensive facility before Aspired and was not happy at all and asked us to find a better place. The then director was beyond wonderful and also came to Mom's funeral - unbelievable. The receptionists, nurses, finance and all other staff were so nice and helpful it really energized my Mom which is tough to do at age 91

The staff to resident ratio in the memory care unit is very good . The staff in general is very considerate and respectful of the individuals who live there . They try to keep the residents engaged and active as possible while still considering each individuals abilities. The staff keeps an open communication with the families and are very accommodating for visits and participation in activities.

My sister has been a resident of Sunrise East for the last four months and I have visited her frequently. Sunrise East is run like a “Swiss watch”. The staff is well trained, supportive, caring and alert to the needs of the residents. The residence is in the midst of one of the busiest areas in Manhattan but you cannot hear any annoying street notices. Sunrise East is Technically designed for personal health and comfort. Every effort is made maximize comfort, enjoyment. The dining room offers a wide variety of quality food choices served by a wait staff who know each person by name and are eager to please the diners. The furnishings and accessories are first class. All this doesn’t happen by itself. It takes a lot of planning, training, and attention to make it work and Dani Greene is the person who does it. [name removed] is one of the best administrators I have known and she deserves credit for managing this organization to provide a safe and loving experience for the residents

After touring so many communities, SUNRISE at East 56, truly stood out amongst the rest. Straight away, I just knew this must be the place. It has been 18 months and mom is smiling, busy and just happy. Only made possible because of the amazing staff they have assembled at this beautiful property. Attending to the residents ever changing needs this team easily adapts to each situation with a caring, empathetic and professional manner. They have a can-do attitude which transcends their roles. From sales, dining, housekeeping, activities, maintenance and security, they really have it all. Daily activities and NYC-worthy outings year round…and a rooftop penthouse to enjoy! The beautiful property is modern, relaxed and inviting. At its heart is the dining room. If your loved one is like mine, their food is “everything.” Amazingly delicious choices prepared by creative chefs and a dining staff so polite, considerate and welcoming. Absolutely visit this property and put your mind at ease.

They are very flexible & the staff willingness to get to know the resident. Their care for the residents is superb.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with the community. The staff are kind, caring, and respectful. Everyone is friendly. The community is clean when we visit our loved one. Our loved one is happy here, and this is important to us. Overall this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones.

My mother-in-law moved to Sunrise at East 56th six months ago. We are continually impressed and appreciative of the kindness and diligence of the caregivers and the whole team at large. Everyone is responsive and friendly. The light-filled space is beautiful, tasteful, and exceptionally clean. The full roster of daily programming is varied and engaging. There is something for everyone. Guests are invited and encouraged to join the residents for meals; the quality of the food and diversity of menu options makes the dining experience a genuine pleasure. Costs are competitive with other top tier facilities in the city, but it is undeniable that this level of quality care comes at a premium.

They have a Reputation for quality care, service military retirees and family, and are close proximity wise to our home. I would say that The Fairfax is a good wise choice but they can be expensive. it depends on what you are looking for. They meet my loved ones needs for safety medicine administration and socialization.

The reason we gave the meals and dining 4 stars is because I never ate a meal there, but our loved one didn't seem very impressed. However she was a picky eater. My aunt was so much better while she was there more so than when she had been at home. I certainly will recommend the Sunrise of Paoli to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

Everyone at Stratford Court of Boca Pointe is very friendly and helpful. My mother has a 1 bedroom apartment which is big enough for her and her needs. I live an hour away, so the transportation to shopping, banks, and appointments are great to have! I would absolutely recommend Stratford Court to other families looking.

Absolutely wonderful Memory Care & overall staff. It took almost 4 months to get all the arrangements made to get a long time family friend moved in to Sunrise. [name removed] & [name removed] encouraged me a lot while I went through some really stressful legal situations before my friend could actually move in. Once she moved in it took a bit of work to get her care plan done but [name removed]& [name removed]were total angels!!!!

My father was a resident of Sunrise of Jackson assisted living for approximately 5 years. He had enjoyed his time at the facility during his long term stay. He had stayed at other facilities that did not give him the care Sunrise did for him. He had taken a stroke and had mobility issues that he needed additional care. Both my father and I had personal relationships with many of the staff. Most of the staff treated him like he was a member of their own family. He enjoyed the activities of local schools visiting and guest speakers coming on a regular basis. He would also take the community bus to go to weekly Mass in the local church. I can’t say enough good things about this place. My father enjoyed his life at Sunrise and the many friends he had made at the facility. I do not think my father would have the quality of life he had at Sunrise if he stayed anywhere else. I would suggest scheduling an appointment with Aimee tour the facility and ask all the questions you have.

My mother is staying short term. I so appreciate the staff and their kindness. I was hesitant at first to even take a look at the facility. The transition for my Mother had been very smooth. She is well taken care of.

My aunt moved into this facility last year. I visit her when I am in town. She had a great group of friends and looks well taken care of. All the staff is very friendly and truly care. Thank you for caring for Aunt.

I was able to take a look at this facility. Everyone seemed very warm and friendly. They had a wonderful therapy dog at the front desk. Very clean nice facility. I would recommend. Everyone smiled and greeted me.

I've lived in a few communities and looked at most in the area , they've got it right here. One thing that I found living in an assisted living community previously, medication isn't necessarily dosed by what's prescribed but by the nurse's schedule. If you're working with a customer that's on the fence of assisted vs independent that's something to let them know. They have a nice gym. Another big plus is the washer and dryer are in the apartment. Many of the communities have the washer and dryer in a community room. We looked at several independent communities before I moved here. The community is diverse in age. I'm 55. For the assisted living I was close to the youngest. Here I'm in the middle.

We picked Sunrise Mountain lake because of the location, it’s very close to our house, not even 10 minutes drive, also the facility is brand new, bright, artistically decorated and welcoming. The care for my mom is superb, the staffs are all so friendly, facility is spotless, not to mention fun packed everyday activity, also the easy communication. Room size is perfect for my mom, huge window with very nice view. big enough but not too big, only a few steps she’ll reach the bathroom. And another few steps out of her door she’ll be in the dinning area already. Outdoor environment is lovely, my mom enjoys her outdoor walks. Also, they host special events throughout year to invite family members to join on weekends for brunch, we all enjoy the environment and food very much, great experience for kids too, great family time!

My uncle was in a previous nursing home in another state. The facility, the staff and the level of care were unsatisfactory. Upon retrieval from the facility, transporting to California and transferring to Sunrise at Canyon Crest, my uncle has, in a sense, gained a new life in the Sunrise Community. On his first day there, he was greeted by very friendly staff and health care professionals that made him feel like family. Care needs were treated immediately and a weekly regiment was also established. With Sunrise at Canyon Crest, the life spark is back in my uncle's eyes and I can sleep at night knowing that he is in good hands in the Sunrise Community.

As an example of Sunrise quality, this last Father’s Day celebration stands out. The luncheon and service were very good (as usual). The high point was the entertainment. The trio of musicians were very enjoyable singing familiar folk songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Everybody was singing along and there was even some dancing! A good time was had by all. We are so pleased with the quality of care we received at Sunrise. The staff is professional and kind. The administration is capable and responsive. The home is clean and welcoming. I would recommend it to any who asked.
