The care staff are fine, but would not recommend unless changes were made with the intake staff.The intake staff was difficult to deal. There was a lot of stress and confusion. We picked this community, because it was close to a relative.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Paoli and overall the experience has been great. The housekeeping is excellent. Communication with the family is excellent. The staff is an individual thing, some are more engaged than others. The food quality is very unappealing and the residents do not care for it. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

This is a close knit community. There are plenty of activities. The staff are not encouraging of the residents to participate in the activities, and it would be nice to see this change. There are outings in the van to take the residents on a drive around the community. There are some staff that really cared for our loved one, and then there were other staff members that needs improvement in communicating with the family and care for the resident. This is a good community for the loved ones that are more mobile, and only needs some assistance. This is a happy medium between assisted living and skilled nursing. The food always smelled good, and there was private dining available for the family to enjoy meals with our loved one.. I have already recommend the community, as this is a homey place. Our loved one was able to make it their own, and my loved one enjoyed this about their experience with Sunrise.

My mother has been a resident of East 56th Street since it opened in December 2021. My mother has dementia, and we had struggled to care for her at home. She has been expertly cared for over the past 18 months and is currently happy and stable at Sunrise. Sunrise at East 56th operates with a very high level of resident care as the norm. My mom receives a ton of attention from the staff, who all seem to know her, her preferences, and her habits. If she so much as has a hangnail, they will call me to give me an update on her condition. All of the healthcare and activity services you could possibly want or need are under one roof. There is a roster of activities available every day, and the staff members make sure that she is invited and encouraged to participate in what she likes, and they do not pressure her to be at the ones she doesn't like. She is happy with the meals and personal attention given throughout the day. Sunrise at East 56th is a blessing for our family!

I cannot believe how kind and caring the staff is at this building. Every time I visit, there are clusters of residents gathered throughout the sitting areas chatting and smiling. And there is event a community dog!

Of all the other assisted facilities we visited, this one by far is the friendliest. It has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. My mom has been there for over two years and I have absolutley nothing bad to say. What a really great place. I am glad we found it.

My wife, [name removed] and I came to Sunrise at Canyon Crest almost five years ago, because of her Parkinson's Disease, and I needed more support in caring for her. We were able to continue living together, while she received extra care for her condition, and I was able to be independent when circumstances warranted it. Sunrise at Canyon Crest is a small facility, nestled in a park-like setting, with a professional staff that serves the three cottages, each with 25 residents. Two of the cottages are for Assisted Living and one specializes in Memory Care. The environment is peaceful and surrounded by nature. The staff is well-trained, resident focused, and caring. Many staff have been with Sunrise for 10+ years, which speaks to the regard they receive and then give to residents. My wife eventually moved into Memory Care, and eventually into Hospice Care at Sunrise before passing away last year. I recommend Sunrise at Canyon Crest without reservation.

I live at this lovely place. I really like The activity girl. She has great things for us to do. We even made fudge when the Tigers won the national championship. Chef [name removed] is wonderful. I have met many friends here.

I work for PT and OT. I have serviced many patients in this building. I truly appreciate the nursing staff. They are warm and very communicative. I would recommend this facility to all my patients families.

My Aunt [name removed] moved in recently. I went to go visit her and she looks very happy. She was hesitant at first of making the move. She was isolated and alone. The staff was kind and friendly. Great facility!

One month ago I did the most difficult thing I've ever done - I made the choice to place my wife in an assisted living facility. The guilt, the worry, the uncertainty, all weighed heavily on me. There have been two things that have kept me upright and moving forward. One is the support and encouragement of family and friends. The second is the confidence that I have chosen the right place - Sunrise. From the very first interaction with an employee there to the text I received five minutes ago with feedback regarding my wife the experience has helped to put me at ease. I have witnessed sincere and consciences care. They have been responsive to my questions and anxieties. To consider, only after a month, that the staff is not only like family to [name removed] but also to me is quite remarkable.

I picked this community, because I needed respite care for my mother, and other communities had a 30 day minimum. Sunrise worked with me, and the community was outstanding in every way.I will absolutely recommend Sunrise of Wayland to others. In fact, I am hoping to have my mother there for respite later this year. And if the time comes for full-time assisted living Sunrise will be my first choice. Also [name removed], the sales director was awesome. She was professional and she kept me posted as my mother settled in. I am truly grateful.Sunrise is just like home. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The environment is safe and comfortable. The meals are excellent. There are plenty of activities.

I am the resident who has lived here the longest. I am safe and secure. I have had many friends. I like to attend activities. The staff is very kind. They always like to joke around with me. The activity gal is so nice.

I love it here. The people are kind and friendly. I love flower arranging. I come down to meals at times but it has given me the friendship I longed for. Everyone always jokes and laughs. My favorite activity is music. I’ve lived here for 3 months.

Sunrise at Parma offers the best in care and accommodations for my parents. They are attentive to their needs on a daily basis. Their 2 bedroom apartment is equipped with everything they need. The facility is always clean and my parents like the food. My mom enjoys playing bingo a few times a week as well. The care managers are all great and willing to help at anytime. Very good choice for elderly parents who can no longer live alone. Thank you Sunrise!

We have been in quite a few senior living facilities in the past with different family members, by far sunrise at Parma was the friendliest and most home like we saw. The staff was ready to answer any questions we had. Making this decision is not easy but they were there to make it a little better

I would recommend Sunrise of Shelby Township to other families looking for assisted living. It has been a very nice experience. Everyone there is very caring and helpful.

We have been very satisfied with Sunrise of Findlay. My mother seems to be thriving there. It has been just an overall positive experience. The staff seems to care and are generally positive.

I'm very grateful to them. The value, I almost gave them a 4, but they were comparable to other places. It's just expensive no matter where you go. The people who worked with my mother in personal care really did treat her with respect and love. They communicated well with me, and treated me and my siblings with respect. They were wonderful in the last week especially and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted before she passed. We had a very positive experience at Sunrise. My mother was respected, loved, and was safe. It eased our minds. The staff is friendly and helpful, and respectful. I would recommend to anyone needing a safe loving environment for their aging parent.
