Sunrise Senior Living

I would recommend to other families. I liked everything about it. We picked this community, for our loved one because of the location and newly remodeled dementia unit.

My grandmother lives at this place. She seems very well taken care of. I was in town last week and visited with her. She was signing along with the live music.

This place was recommended to me and I would recommend it to others.It was selected because it was the least depressing place to visit, great staff and activities if Mom wants to participate. I'm happy with the care Mom is receiving there. It's not depressing and while Mom is adjusting to a new lifestyle and hates everything now, she is safe, the staff is great and there is help available 24/7.

Beautiful facility with kind and caring staff. This community is centrally located in downtown Webster Groves which makes it very convenient for life long residents of the area, especially those who still enjoy getting outside, going to the theatre, and running errands. I highly recommend this Sunrise location.

This is simple. I would give Sunrise Paramus a 5 on every category. It was a blessing to find this place. Everyone was wonderful and the level of care surpassed any I've seen in any assisted living facility. Please keep it on your "go-to" list. I hope others find this place for their loved ones. The staff is exceptionally well trained- professional in their area of expertise, and oh, so compassionate. My mom was in the memory care unit and was under constant supervision. She was only there for 17 days before she died, but she was well cared for and monitored. Sunrise of Paramus is a hidden gem. The only problem is the cost of these places. I have to bring it up. Who can afford $[removed] a month? My mom would have had the funds for two years as she already exhausted most of her savings from 5 years in assisted living. This is untenable for most people, and it's a sad state of affairs we're in here in America.

Staff are almost always respectful (only one bad experience so far). Flexibility about eating in room or dining room, rooms are bright, easy to reach nurse and other staff on the phone. I would definitely recommend Sunrise on Vernier to others looking.

We were very impressed by it too when we walked through it but at the time they did not have the space for both my parents are they didn't have the right room available and so they literally are going to require my parents to move into a room that didn't fit their stuff and didn't fit the two of them in the hopes that they could move into a different room like eight months later and we knew with my dad's early Alzheimer's, and my mom's condition that there's no moving in there. Future moving was out of the question we didn't want them to have to do that, but other than that that facility was great another reason we like sunrise a Leawood Better was simply because my dad is able to still drive and they have an underground parking garage for his vehicle so his vehicle didn't have to sit out on a surface parking lot minor detail, but very important to my father

I think sunrise of Leawood is the perfect community for anyone that doesn't need maximum care. For example, my parents are both there and my mother-in-law needs maximum care and they've been treating her for a bed wound and it was getting better and then it started getting worse again because they weren't taking as much cares they should have, and she requires absolute maximum care. Someone needs to be looking in on her every two hours however, my father is there and requires very little care, and that place is perfect for someone that doesn't require 100% care if that makes sense. The staff is amazing almost everyone knows both my parents and us by name and we know most of them and everyone's very friendly and they do a fantastic job. Just they really can't handle the maximum care level even though they accepted my mother-in-law.

The sales lady [name removed] was very welcoming and helpful when we came in with concerns and maybe too many questions. Although we’re still deciding (probably going to move in to this location), I had to write this review because she is the best professional we have dealt with this in this journey.

We are extremely pleased with Sunrise at Chevy Chase. My husband is currently there in assisted living after suffering a debilitating stroke. Staff members work together as a team quite effectively, are approachable and listen when issues arise, and work toward effective solutions. I would single out the Executive Director for praise. He is energetic, friendly and approachable, flexible, and sets the stage for the entire staff.

We have had a great experience with assisted living at Sunrise of Newtown Square. It's a great atmosphere - with very upbeat, positive people. And my family member is is safe there.

Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise at FlatIrons and we thought it was a very good tour experience, but it was just going to be way more money

Environment was nice/ attractive . Always felt clean. The staff made an effort to make my aunt feel welcome and cared for. She was only there a month and then passed away. So she didn't eat much. There was happy hours on Friday nights that were lively. Location was convenient, safe, quiet.

Most Senior Living companies seem to offer or promise the same or similar facilities and services. What makes a facility a good home are the people that staff and care for our loved ones. Sunrise of Hermosa Beach is the best. Positive attitudes with a genuine concern for the residents stands out here. To name just a few of the staff stars [names removed], all superb. They take the initiative to reach out to help and comfort their residents and treat them like a loving family should. And, by the way, the facilities, activities and services Are top notch as well.

It was the only one we toured and we were happy with the tour and the people we met with. It was a positive experience for myself, my brother and especially for my family member.

I have received excellent and caring attention; all of the nurses and their technicians were extremely attentive to my every need. They were kind and understanding.

My aunt lives in this facility. I am very happy with the way she is treated. The Staff know her and always invite her to things gong on. The facility is clean!

The employees at Sunrise are very special people! I have found that everyone working there has a great sense of caring for each and every resident. There many and varied activities to keep people occupied and busy. There is also plenty of musical entertainment provided several times a week. The people at the concierge desk are always friendly and helpful. Susan, Marco and Amy go out of their way to help the residents. The help staff is fabulous. The kitchen staff fantastic. Every employee knows every name of every resident. The building and grounds are always spotless. It's a great place to live and the best care possible.

What we like the most about The Sheridan at River Forest is the quality of care, amenities, flexibility between residents and staff. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.
