Sunrise Senior Living

I went yesterday to see my Patient. She was in the dining room enjoying stuffed manicotti. She had a hard transition the first few days but is not thriving.

I visited my great aunt yesterday and was very impressed with the facility. She was in the front area playing volleyball with about 14 other people. She was smiling and laughing and seem to be very happy. There were many staff around smiling as well.

I have lived here for a while and love my apartment. I met some friends and enjoy going out for a walk around the beautiful building.

Brighton Gardens of Friendship Heights is a comfortable, well-administered community. The staff are generally responsive to the individual needs of each resident, including those, like my family member, with specialized/intensive care needs. The longevity of some of the higher-ranking staff members at Brighton Gardens stands out relative to other facilities like it. Family members and friends who spent many days visiting Brighton Gardens noted very few resident complaints while visiting the facility. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

They are a great staff. They seem to be taking very good care of my mother in law. They have done a lot of extra things for us. I would recommend to others. It has been great. We picked this community, because they had a great large room, nice people, and it was closer to us.

My experience has been exceptional. This place was my choice. It is lovely and the staff is great. The activities offered are great and well prepared. The back courtyard could use some special grooming, but other than that, no complaints.

All good experiences begin with people. The staff of Brighton Gardens is exceptional. The genuine care & love they have for the residents is very apparent in everything they do. Cognitive issues can severely impact the quality of life of the afflicted person. At Brighton Gardens, the staff of the memory unit actively work to ensure that residents have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities. These include things like games, daily exercises and sing a longs. All of these activities are designed so that residents receive stimulation for both their minds & bodies. There are also occasional bus trips to allow the residents the stimulation outside the daily structured environment. The facility itself is clean & very well maintained. The resident rooms are also well maintained and provide a comfortable and peaceful environment. I highly recommend Brighton Gardens for those facing the difficult decision of moving a loved one into either assisted living or memory care.

They gave an amazing tour and I really wanted my loved one to be here. I loved Sunrise of Scottsdale, but don't like the apartment set-up. It's more like a hotel room where [facility name removed] has a separate bedroom.

This community is one-of-a-kind! It is the best senior living option in Dallas. You will not regret moving your loved one here. They kept their promise on delivering the assistance needed and were always going above and beyond to communicate changes or concerns. Go with Sunrise on Hillcrest!

We would recommend them. Very friendly & kind staff. Spacious rooms with lots of natural light. They were in the process of updating the facility. It should be even prettier when finished. The tour experience was very good. We picked this community, because of the location, and hoyer lift.

The staff is always so kind And willing to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. It’s a great location in Scottsdale. Make sure you meet a resident ambassador while you visit, they are so friendly and welcoming.

All around it's nice, accommodations, dining area, and staff. We picked this community, because it is close by me. My experience has been pretty good.

We are very happy. He is always complimenting the food and the friendliness of the staff and residents. He loves the activities and takes advantage of them. He has his tough days but at no fault of the staff. They keep the place very clean and all of my interactions with the staff have been exceptional. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem to other families.

Recently widowed, my mother moved to Sunrise a few months ago. Because this was her first move without my father, we were unsure how she would acclimate to her new home. Was I wrong to worry! It took her no time at all to feel at home, safe and welcomed by the tremendous staff at Sunrise. Everyone from reception, the medical care team, social directors and kitchen staff took her in and got to know her. They are beyond warm, loving and attentive to every single resident while having boundless energy and patience to match. As someone who travels a lot, I am extremely grateful to know my mother is in good hands when I am not there. There are so many activities for her to partake in each day, it's a relief to see her engaged and having fun. After shopping around other facilities, I am so happy we made the move to Sunrise. It is no surprise U.S. News and World Reports ranked it as one of the best senior living facilities in the U.S.

My dad and i have toured many nursing facilities in area. Sunrise of Hillcrest has caught my attention. First impression, we were greeted with sincere smiles and warmth. The facility smelled great walking In, there was clean walls and carpet with comfortable chairs to wait in and was asked if we wanted a snack or drink from bistro. As we toured the building with marketing they genuinely had a knowledgeable, clear and realistic answer for all my questions. I also observed the staff members as they seemed polite, positive and intuitive on dealing with the residents and doing their job making sure the residents were happy. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the Executive Director [name removed]. She was very polite and understanding and straight forward and seemed to know exactly what we were dealing with. She went into detail on finances and care and very clear and intelligent on helping us get more bang for our buck even if we didn't choose their facility. Overall I'm very impressed.

It's a wonderful place and everyone is really nice and knowledgeable. After meeting with several different homes this one stood out for all the activities offered and everyone we met was very nice and engaging.

My mother has been living at Sunrise San Mateo for one year and it has been an absolute amazing experience for her and her family! They were so welcoming and creative early on to ensure my mother was comfortable and accepting. They went above and beyond with her and the family in communicating and coordinating. The staff is all wonderful! The greetings from all the staff members when you walk in to the care they provide to all the residents. The activity team is hands down amazing too! They really know how to engage the residents throughout the day and ensure participation. I highly recommend Sunrise!
