Sunrise Senior Living

My mother has been at Sunrise for 5 years, and she is so happy there. The staff are so friendly. From the minute you are met at the door, you feel the joy in this place. They are well trained to deal with different needs of each resident. They are always available to answer any questions you might have. My family does not stress when we leave her because we know she is getting the best care in Riverside.

My mom, who has beginning dementia and some fairly hard to manage health concerns, was very hesitant to be moved into assisted living and she had a very rough time with the transition, but the staff were incredible. They encouraged her to engage in activities, they focused on learning her preferences, and they helped her to make Sunrise at Canyon Crest her home. Now we come back to Sunrise after a lunch out and my mom exclaims "I'm home!" The staff are wonderful about keeping track of her medications and health, in fact she has improved her health since moving there. She is constantly telling me about the activities she does (making bracelets, art work, exercise, gossiping with friends at meals, music shows, etc). There are so many small ways that Sunrise is wonderful: they notice when mom gets a new pedicure, they helped her move out a broken dresser, staff often come in just to sit and talk, they have great communication with me, and so much more.

My friends parents live here in the memory care. the love and care that these residents are shown is special. They keep the place clean, the care staff is amazing. They are doing activities through out the day. at about 1 they start playing music and dancing with the residents, which the residents seem to love I am amazed at the program and engagement of the residents.

We looked at a dozen places before my Mom chose Sunrise at Canyon Crest. It's a small facility, which really makes Mom comfortable. The apartment she has is just right for her. The staff are attentive and kind. My Mom isn't much of a joiner but staff now have her coming out and participating. Sunrise had the best Covid experience for residents and families. Everyone was safe and families still had access to loved ones. Thank you Sunrise for easing my stress and taken such good care of my Mom.

I visited the community on behalf of my wife, who is currently experiencing challenges with her grandmother. The facility was exceptionally clean and the staff provided a warm and welcoming experience. I had an opportunity to sample the food at the social and it was delightful! The seniors were engaged in an activity, while the staff were greeting family and friends for the activity. Upon seeing a room, I was surprised to see how large the rooms were and finishes within the room were done beautifully (modern finishes). Throughout my visit, I was greeted by several different people who were genuinely interested in why I was visiting. Overall, I am so happy I visited and look forward to being there again!

My wife has been living at Sunrise Rockville for seven months now. I’d like to share some thoughts about this assisted living facility and our experiences. The building itself is attractive and well maintained. It is a pleasant place to visit. More importantly, the quality of the staff at all levels is superior. My wife resides in the memory care section. The staff there have a job to do that is not always easy or routine. Based on my personal observations, the staff is caring, gentle and patient as appropriate but also firm when required. Without exception, every member of the staff on this unit impresses me. My wife has also become very fond of several staff who work directly with her frequently and have always made her feel that they care about her.

The main reasons we chose Sunrise of Lincoln Park over others that we looked at initially was because of the reasonable cost comparison an their flexibility in meeting patient's needs The staff is very caring and helpful including nurses, attendants, receptionist, and [name removed] in marketing.

The community was recently renovated and it is top of the line. It feels like you are on vacation. My loved one is happy and the staff is amazing and always kind. Th ere are always activities going on and my mom likes the food.

It has been a positive experience for my Mom. The most positive thing is how aware the staff is of her, her comings and goings. Our interactions with others have been very limited because of COVID.

I have lived at Sunrise at Flatirons for over 10 years. I moved in to Assisted Living after an extended rehab stay. With help from the amazing staff and therapy, I was able to regain my strength and independence and move to Independent Living. I have been so pleased with the activities, the meal options and the top notch staff. I did not realize how lonely I truly was living in my home. Now I have friends just down the hall and staff to joke around with and share my wisdom. I enjoy spending time meeting new friends over a meal. The activities are top notch. We go on scenic drives to the mountains, trips to Central City, trips to the art museum, not to mention all the amazing programs to not only entertain but expand our minds that are conducted at the community. My family enjoys the peace of mind knowing I am living in a place where I have created new relationships and have noticed that I am more engaged than when I was living home alone.

I visited my uncle last week. He was listening to music in the lobby. He looked like he was so content. I live out of state and last I saw him he was in the hospital. I am glad he is well taken care of.

I moved my Mom in last month and she has had a bit of a transition. The team has been so patient and loving. She lives in memory care and the staff is so patient with her. So appreciate how attentive they are.

Sunrise is a life saver for me. My loved one is taken care of everyday. I have no complaints. The staff is wonderful, caring and very good at what they do. I feel confident that he is in good hands, he smiles, and he communicates that he is doing well.

After a short period this place becomes like a familiy and ut quickly eliminated my feelings of lonliness before I came here. It has quickly become my home. And I look forward every morning joining the familiy and it's activites.

Over the time my wife/mother has been a resident we noted consistent care and mental stimuation, she has been provided by all of the staff, we have had contact with. They have been very prompt in noticing and dealing with any health issues and advsing us about them. She is content here.

Sunrise of Severna Park was a great experience for my friend of many years and for those of us who visited her there. She really enjoyed the many activities, including a trip to see the cherry blossoms, playing bingo, charades, trivia, and listening to visiting musicians. The activities staff was energized and creative. All the staff in general were fabulous. Food quality and nutritional value was good. We found it to be a great place. In fact, one of our longtime friends moved her loved one to Sunrise based on my friend's experience.

From the first time we stepped into SSL it felt like home. We visited 5 other places and none of them compared to SSL. The director, [name removed] was very patient and kind with all of our questions. Making the decision to move mom was very difficult but the staff and all the care givers we amazing in helping my mom transition. She was not happy about going but has since settled in and is loving the schedule of events and the delicious meals. I can say enough about the care staff the med techs the cooks and all the management staff. We feel lucky to have secured a home for mom that she feels cared for and I know she is safe.

The care was top notch!!! Would highly recommend this facility. The individual care my father received was excellent. Every staff member that touched Dad truly cared about him as an individual. He was treated with dignity and respect from the time he entered to the day he left to come home. It's a wonderful community!

We had moved dad to another facility in NJ, prior to Sunrise. His behavior and mood was horrible and then we found Sunrise. Sunrise knew how to manage the transition to AL that dad was going through. He is happier and seems to be more engaged in his new home-even as his care needs are changing. They are the best.

Very satisfied in how my brother is well taken care of. Took a lot os pressure off me.
