Sunrise Senior Living

This is a beautiful quite new facility. The person who spent time with me discussing the facility was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Staff was very attentive and treated our mom with respect and dignity. There were many activities offered to the residents. Many times staff was participating with the residents. The food was ok. It was served at the right temperature but didn't look appealing. I feel the unit was kept clean as well as our mom's room. The rooms are generous sizes and are nice and bright. We were extremely pleased with Sunrise OP.

It's been a great experience. The staff is caring. Her room is always clean and she loves it there! I would recommend the community to others.

I love all the things they offer. Although my mother does not participate in everything as a whole I would move in if I could. ?? The staff are friendly. They know me by name and I don't even live there. It feels like a home. The apartments are nice. Open concept, cable , housekeeping weekly, she can have her cat, laundry, 3 meals a day, IT help with computers and phones. The grounds are kept up and the staff is always helpful. Recommend it to every senior that passes thru the doors of my business that asks.

I would give them 5 stars. My father was quite sick and bedridden. He was helpless, which was very difficult on the staff, requiring a high level of care. He moved in early September and passed away just before Thanksgiving. Everyone treated us very nicely, and I was grateful for his stay. Ultimately he had a stroke and then passed away about 7 days later. They worked well with the hospice service. He was deteriorating rapidly and couldn't hear, see, move, incontinent also, and was sundowning. He was having hallucinations and didn't know how old he was, where he was, or when. He was imagining terrible things. The hospice provided him with medicine to make him feel better and it was administered professionally and monitored by Sunrise. Surprisingly, he could still eat which he enjoyed and was fed very well by the staff. The room was a good size but he couldn't use it. The whole facility was very well maintained and clean. Staff always attentive, food excellent.

This a wonderful community with lots of daily activities, excellent meals and very friendly staff!!! I would highly recommend this facility, in a neighborhood but still very convenient to all city services!

They have helpful and friendly staff. The food is great and the room size is sufficient. I would recommend the community to others.

I found the facility to be very nice. However, the room we were shown was in the older part of the building and was not handicapped accessible as the entry door to the restroom was 24" wide, the bath tub was not a roll in and not suitable for a wheelchair and the room was too narrow to access the toilet. My son is also a smoker, and the facility lacked a suitable smoking area. Another problem for us was the move in fee and high monthly fees.

I think it is a great place with friendly staff and a positive, motivational environment.

Very helpful and answered all the questions we had. Showed us several different options on living space. They also talked about programs and the community they try to create.

The staff makes life easy. Whitney was exceptional knowledgeable and courteous. S0 far very enjoyable, great location and many activities. just what the doctor ordered!

The Tour was an in-depth and very personal approach to showing us what there was at Sunrise. As it turns out, Sunrise has lots of activities and their facilities are clean and hospitable. It had a very elegant feel to it.

This is a very warm, homey feeling place. My parents enjoyed the tour. They like the feel of the suites and felt like they would enjoy living there. Even the memory unit was better than I expected. I thought it would be more like a hospital setting but it was like home.

My husband was very ill and was a resident there for about six weeks. Everyone at Brighton Gardens was very supportive and went out of their way to help. It is super clean and the staff is very talented. I thank them all for their wonderful care of my husband before he had to go to hospice and passed.

Visited and took tour. Pleased with appearance of site and staff. All questions asked and answered. Availability low and possible waitlist.

I would absolutely recommend Sunrise Senior Living located in Severna Park. The facility is always very clean. The Staff, including the Caretakers are very kind and professional and seem to genuinely care for the Residents' well-being. This facility is a little pricey. However, having peace of mind knowing your loved one is being cared for, with dignity and respect makes it worth the cost.

My sister is very satisfied with the food and likes it very much. I see she's taking part in some of the many activities that Sunrise provides. All the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room is just the right size and they keep the whole facility spotless.

My wife came here from a rehab facility that was crowded, not well maintained and impersonal. What a difference - Sunrise went out of their way to find a way to accommodate her. The Sunrise facility and grounds appear to be well maintained. My wife is in a shared room in which the only things shared are a shower, toilet and sink, bedrooms are separate , private and well appointed. She has been here only about 5 weeks, but it seems every staff member knows her name. Staff member are all patient, kind and caring, doing a great job handling her many needs (moderate to severe dementia)..There are activities for residents every day. They are largely oriented towards more able residents (understandably), but both residents and staff are good at accepting those less able, even if it is just to watch. In short this has been a great experience for both of us.
