Staff is always kind & friendly and anytime I need anything there is always someone to help!

We had my mom at another facility and we were not happy. Danbury has been a night and day difference. We were welcomed on the first day. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They are taking great care of my mom and she is more active.

From the time I first toured Sunrise to present day I was excited to be a part of the experience here. Everyone is kind, respectful ,and polite. They are able to answer my questions, the few times they didn’t they would find out the answer and get back to me. My family has been with me on this healing journey. They say since I’ve come to Sunrise I’m happier, and have interesting stories to share with them. We stay as busy with activities as we want to. Alone time doesn’t seem alone but private, someone will be there to help if needed. All workers are welcoming and willing to assist, one another and residents, which is how a healthy neighborhood should be managed by all residents. Thanks Bev Ps. Food is the best!

I toured the facility for my grandmother. Upon entering the first thing I noticed how clean the building was. Staff was able to answer all of questions with confidece and were very kind,

The relationship of staff & folks here has created a family atmosphere. Together we implement necessary changes, and create various activities to bring joy and residents together. Random acts of kindness is one activity where we have made mats for homeless people to sleep on. together we make storypoint "a place to call home."

My parents moved into Danbury in August. They have been treated as family from day one. The facility is beautiful and clean. The nursing staff are excellent. They genuinely care. The staff know the residents by name. There are lots of activities and events to encourage socialization. The meals are very good. I would recommend Danbury to anyone needing assisted living care.

I was very reluctant to move to a Senior living Community. My children helped me navigate through this. When we came to tour at Danbury, we were welcomed by [name removed] who showed us around. She made us feel very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We stayed for lunch and the Chef came out to talk to us. I moved into Danbury about 6 months ago now and I couldn't be happier. I have my cat and my own apartment. The other residents are very friendly and welcoming also. I have made many new friends.

I have to commend [names removed]. They were all essential participants in making our parents Christmas a wonderful experience this year. They took the time to care and the time to share both their expertise and experience. They provided a wonderful meal and an environment that was comfortable and caring. Our entire family enjoyed the experience and the people we worked with. I would recommend working with them in the future for all needs.

We enjoyed a Sunday Brunch with Christmas decorations, live music and shared the joy with other residents and their loved ones. My mother told me it was one of the best days of the year. Sunrise helps make this possible and gives her many days like this for us to enjoy with her.

My friend’s mom lives here and I’m impressed every time I come to visit. I joined the family for the thanksgiving meal, and I just attended a brunch. Both were delicious and lovingly prepared. This was definitely not institutional food. The people who work there seem to genuinely care for the residents. The only thing I would like to see is daily exercise. My friend’s mom has gone downhill so fast because there’s nothing to keep her blood circulating and her muscles strong.

[name removed] was amazing and sold the community. They treat the residents like family and we saw that. Staff members introduced themselves and residents liked everyone. Friendly helpful and answered questions. Felt comfortable right off the bat. Dad felt good and comfortable moving the next week. Gave us all peace of mind. My dad is super happy, everyone who works there is kind and helpful. It is so worth the money!

I truly love Ponder Creek Estates! The location is perfect-It is nestled in amongst beautiful surroundings, yet still convenient and close to shopping, restaurants, banks and more! The community is currently undergoing a remodel/update and I am looking forward to seeing it when it's complete. The staff shows love and compassion toward its residents and one another. They have a great hairdresser who has been at their community for several years now and she goes out of her way to accommodate. They have a group inside the community that provides assistance to its residents when needed and their lead caregiver has been at that community for 12+ years- She's amazing! Ponder Creek encourages independence (as it is independent living) and goes out of their way to make a difference every day to their residents. It is one of my favorite places to visit, as I always walk out with a feel good heart full of love!

This is such a beautiful place! The apartments are very modern and large. All The workers are so warm and welcoming. The residents all seem very friendly and happy. I highly recommend for your loved one.
