This community is not built yet , but we did get to tour their sister community. The tour went well, and the community looked neat and tidy. It was a bit older community, but it appeared to be a nice place with a nice atmosphere.

The view is pretty with a lot of lakes. The traffic is horrible, due to 2 lane roads. Some of the roads are bumpy. Most of the people are nice.

Staff seems competent. Food is awful! Beef, Beef, Beef heavily breaded & fried everything! Green beans, for goodness sake? Veggies cooked to mush. Soups & fish are good. Hallway between buildings nasty & I must use it all winter/spring.

Independence Village is bright and cheery. The halls are well and spacious. The staff is very helpful & informative. There are many activities including board games, bingo, cards & pool.

The community was nice and well kept up. It was in the process of being remodeled when I went for my tour. The staff was friendly but the thing I didn't like was when I arrived I told the leasing agent that I was just looking, and was not ready to move my loved one in yet. Towards the end of our tour, the leasing agent was somewhat pressuring me into signing the lease and I didn't appreciate that.

My tour of this community went pretty well. Everybody was friendly and nice. The community looked nice and well maintained. From what I saw everything was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and kind as well. It was a nice experience, but it wasn't the one for my mother and her needs.

The weekend staff is not as good as the weekday staff. There have been some minor issues with housekeeping. They improved for a short time and are now back to where they were. I have spoken to other families to help get information about working with the staff. They are now better at encouraging mom to participate in activities. The community is clean.

I showed up at the appointed hour to find out no one knew I was coming. Another staff member did give me a tour.

When I went there for a tour I didn't feel a friendly environment. The staff were not smiling. I like to know people like their job to provide good care for my mom. They community has limited parking spaces. The guide was not able to give me some answers to my questions, didn't seem knowledgeable.

The community is brand new, which is great, but we weren't enamored with it. The rooms are nice and spacious. The cost is a bit higher than some of the other places we toured. We also weren't crazy about our tour guide, who didn't seem especially knowledgeable. She basically handed us a brochure and price sheet & showed us the rooms. She didn't really answer our questions very well. Of course, we did go in on a Saturday, so that may have been part of the issue.

Loved the rooms and facilities. Dining plan is highly restrictive as it is used as a wellness check and offers only one option unless arrangements are made in advance.

The people that took me on the tour of this community were nice and knowledgable. I thought this community was ok. It was not on our short list of options. The community appeared clean.

This is a larger community as it has 3 stories. We were looking for a closer knit community. I spoke with the director numerous time and they were very nice and informative. I was able to see that they offered numerous activities.

During the tour of this community we found it to be very nice. The staff gave us good service and the residents all had good attitudes. The tour guide was helpful and did her best to show us how great the community was but we found that this community mostly had assisted living residents and this is not what we are looking for. The apartments seemed to small for us too.

So far everything is going okay for my husband and I here at this community. It is a pretty brand new facility, so there are things they have to work out. The community is pretty well-kept. The staff is nice, they are pretty helpful and welcoming. There are wonderful activities offered. The food is nice, they have a great chef. Overall everything is working out well and I would recommend it.

We placed my Mother in Hearth at Windermere and she was happy with the friendliness of the staff and residents. Many unorganized events have taken place within the first 2 months that caused me to give the review of care services a rating of 2. They need to have more staff and possibly better quality CNA's who are able to help with all the care services. I could go on and on but I will just say this is a money making business and the corporate office doesn't understand the need for having more staff. Maybe if more people would complain about the unorganized caring services than maybe they would rethink there decision to staff more people. Maybe that would alleviate the lost meds, not getting showers when indicated, not getting help with undressing/dressing when paying for this level of care. Lastly, the room was filthy when we checked her in and we had to clean it ourselves. It was the weekend and the housekeeping director was on vacation so maybe that was the reason. I do believe several people dropped the ball and it wasn't communicated she was moving in. Just make sure when you go into an assisted living that you check the you keep on top of them and constantly asking and checking on your loved ones care. It's been 2 1/2 months and we are still having issues and I'm there checking 3 times a week.

The facility is beautiful and the food is great. However, we have been consistently disappointed with the daily care provided at The Fountains considering what we pay. The regular workers who care daily for the guests are substandard at best; they can't seem to follow directions or deal with the issues of early dementia and don't seem well trained. Our calls, notes, and requests for better care have gone unheeded and have either not been passed on to the appropriate people or ignored. We really expected this facility to treat their guests with more humanity and compassion than we've experienced. We're very disappointed.

Feels like all assisted living. However the apartments are very nice.

Tastefully decorated and clean. Was portrayed as "0ne big family" . I don' t find that to be true at all. Supposedly, two ambassadors were available to help you get acquainted, but I had no idea who they were. Being new, I expected more of a welcome. They knew my move- in date, but some things were not done in the apartment. The managers seemed to be stressed due to lack of help . Not enough parking on many days. I tried to join several card groups, but was discouraged . Food was good and nicely prepared. About a 3 rating overall.
