Memory care activities are poor. minimal encouragement to residents. low ratio of staff to residents. very disappointed.

A great visit,all staff very friendly and [Removed] was very forth coming. This community concept would meet my needs. Except there is no outside access from the unit for my dog. The walk to outside is very long for a dogs first walk of the morning.

I need more help than I get. Cannot afford to add to my rent. (I eat no lunch to keep expense down and stable.) I do my best and I suppose they do too. No help with studio bed costs extra and help with shower, Again, I can't add to my rent so I manage.

This community was nice and the staff did an excellent job showing us around, they took their time and they answered all our questions. It is a larger community with 3 different levels and we felt that it was going to be too large and that my brother-in-law would not be a good fit here. It would be worth a tour to see the community for yourself.

This is a very nice community, bright, clean and beautiful grounds, the staff did a very good job with my tour, they took their time showing me around and answering all my questions. What stood out to me was that the memory care was on the third floor away from the rest of the community. I didn't feel that there was much interaction between the other levels and residents there. I did feel that this was not going to be a good situation for my mother.

This place was nice but I found the atmosphere in the building a bit dark. The apartment unit we looked at was very nice but the price higher than other similar facilities we toured. One plus was the heated pool for exercise.

After looking at most of the Retirement Communities in Chattanooga, my parent moved into Creekside this year. We chose Creekside due to the location, the bright atmosphere, and the fact that it had lots of activities. The activity selection has been great. The main problem I see is the poor quality of the food and service in the dining room. It takes a long time to get your food, and when it does come, it is usually not prepared well. The menu choices are usually not very healthy, especially for senior citizens. Kitchens in the rooms are too small to prepare your own food, except for microwave items. There is also little or no food available after hours. There seems to be a shortage of employees in the dining room. For $3000 a month, a person should get better.

This community offers assisted living and memory care and my loved one is living in the memory care side. They offer a few activities on the memory care side but they are different from what the assisted living offers and that can be a difficult adjustment for a person going from one side to the other. The food appears good I have not personally eaten there. The staff seems to be friendly and nice. The memory care is clean however there is always a slight odor in the air.

The staff did a very nice job with my tour here, they took their time showing me around and answering all my questions. Unfortunately, they do not have a life which my friend needs in order for her to be transferred in and out of bed and to the restroom or showers.

In touring this community i found it was similar to other ones we had been at and liked. However, as we were walking around I noticed that everything seemed to be a little outdated and the community could use a refurbish. The member of the staff that provided the tour was very nice and provided us with a lot of information

Nice physical plant – Courteous staff. Too highly priced. Dreadful food. Fried, fried, fried. Jankie halls with old furniture, etc. Resident “Porches” talks with personal choices of décor.

Over all very nice – clean, caring staff, family member well taken care of [Removed] is an awesome activity director! But executive director is not receptive to complaints/ concerns (immediate denial rather than concern/ willingness to resolve issue) – tends to blame residents for or belittle their complaints. This is their home where they should be listened to and be given respect. Also, food leaves a lot to be desired – focus seems to be on independent living facility and image there. Assisted living seems to get whatever left over and often served something several days in a row.

We felt claustrophobic at this facility-halls seemed too narrow, bedrooms too small.

I have only been here for two weeks. My ratings may change with a longer stay. What I really like about Aurora Pond is the condo like cottage. Over 1200 square foot of space, 2 BR/2 BA, and a full kitchen. Also comes with a washer and dryer but the small apartment stack-able type. The food so far is sub-par. Residents that have been for over 5 years said the food was much better when they moved in but has declined quite a bit in the past year. Services have been inconsistent and not timely. I order tray service as my wife does not want to eat in the dinning area. They missed filling our order three times in our first two weeks. Lately is has been better. Overall it meet our needs.

I had an okay experience during my tour of this community. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The staff we met was friendly, and our questions were answered. The community appeared to be well-kept. Everything went well, but I did not feel this was the right fit for my father.

Nice facility! Had lunch - very good - then had a tour. Concerned with the lack of parking.

Everything is fine except the chef!!! Puts things on menu and doesn’t have ingredients to make item!! FIRE HIM also puts carrots in all soups!! What has happened to the BINGO?

You get lured into the facility with all the "bells and whistles". They do have a lot of activities for your loved ones and the facility is very nice looking. However, the employee turn over rate is high, and there is a lack of communication between employees which can result in lower care for your loved ones.

This is a nice facility! At the time that we were making the choice for my mother, however, the facility was not set to open for a few weeks, so we did not get to move her in at that time. The memory care was small and seemed to be quite nice, but the general facility was quite large. Finally, we chose not to place my mother at this facility because it is so large and their fee was not all-inclusive.
