It's has been a very good experience. I've no complain!

Toured the facility with Sharon Hostetler. It was clean and attractive with individual or shared rooms that were attractively furnished by the residents. It appeared to be well staffed with activities designed for the residents. I was told that most of the residents would be lower functioning than my mother. They do not have sufficient staff to take residents to activities outside the memory care area of the facility, or to take them on many outings. I felt the activities and and services were generally geared toward lower functioning residents and that my mother might fell out of place there. Also it is a little farther away than some of the others. It was reasonably priced, clean, and well-staffed.

There seems to have been a lot of turnover in staff, and in particular they hired a new director and lost someone that was pretty key to things getting done. It doesn't seem to be as well run as I initially thought it would be. Other than that, the staff is kind and friendly. I think it is a pretty good location. I like that the apartment that my mother has is a nice size an pretty nicely laid out; it has a balcony and a kitchen.

The food, everybody hates it. I've talked to somebody, but to put it bluntly, when we looked at the place, the managers we dealt with were Jim Moyer and his wife were very nice and we ate there, the food was very good. We went back again, ate a second time, the food was still good, then we ate there a third time and it wasn't good at all. They're very nice people, my mother moved in and all of a sudden we're hearing from them the food is terrible and she kept saying that over and over again, especially the dinner meal. The lunch is their big meal there, sometimes that's okay, but there's very few good meals. We mentioned something to Jim and he said there's always that 10%-20% that complains, but my mother's not one to complain. Jim was telling everybody at lunch or dinner time that they were going to have the chef speak to everyone the next day to get their feedback but to "be nice." When I went back there again, one of the residents showed me a list of a summary of all the comments and some of it seemed kind of frivilous, but a lot of it seemed like legitimate complaints. Another thing she complains about it the cliques and those types of things. Although most peopel there are nice, there are a few that are kind of stickers. Getting a table to sit at is a problem sometimes, they're not supposed to save seats but they will sometimes. My mother tries, but unfortunately they put her with this 99 year old woman that's kind of crabby and she made some nasty comments to my mother so she went and sat somewhere else. She chose it because she said the people there looked happy and they were interacting and that's why my mom wanted to move into a home because there were people there her age that she could talk to. It is beautiful, everybody was vibrant, but you can't judge a book by its cover.

The food here was more high quality but the people were so out of it, they were either really independent and off or zombie like so my mother couldn't really connect or communicate with anybody and the price was two times higher.

It's right, almost across the street from where I live and I've heard good and bad thigns about it, but there's nothing remarkable about it. When we went to look at it we were looking at independent livings and she was just declining so rapidily with her dementia. But to be honest, because it was so close and my mom would call me even for the littlest thing I really didn't want to go there.

Overwhelmingly big. It used to be a big hotel. Definitely too big for my mom.

Biggest complaint by the residents there is poor food. They don't like the prepared food.

Positive: Good place for active seniors. Negative: It is very difficult to terminate the lease, even for medical necessity.

I really would have to say maybe a three because no one's there to answer the phone but when they want you to sign up to put someone in there before they answer that phone every time once you're in there, good luck getting a hold of anyone. I would have to say a story point wasn't one of the best places they did help me out get furniture and stuff for[Name Removed]. As far as facilities. There was some major problems they were having with sewer throughout the whole building. I would have to say once you get in there, it's hard to reach anybody after that if you want to find something now you gotta try to call and call and call and nobody answered the phone. I would say that would be the worst thing that was happening with me there

The artwork and modern design of the building stand out. I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend this place to others. They seem to be short staffed.

The activities are run a lot by residents, the monthly birthday party consists of a director bringing in a reusable birthday sign and cupcakes, opens the container and leaves and it is help yourself who ever wants one. There really is no activity director. No nurse available. The food is generally skimpy ( 3 shrimp) all portions have been reduced and some meals are poor quality. Most soups are good but you only get 4 oz. The staff stay in their offices mostly, a couple do come out to help with happy hr. The room itself is nice, the sales person presigning told me things that later I found not so.

The facility is clean. Good activities but at end of my moms life hospice nurses were great but the weekend night staff her last nights the staff was useless

The food is terrible and the most of the staff is as well. Some were fine. A few times when I went to have dinner with my dad they gave him a plate but told me I had to wait then never came back. The workers were friendly.

Housekeeping and maintenance not performed as promised. Dining room is slow and food on menu is not always available. Wouldn't mind saying contracted services are not provided as promised.

My patient was not a good fit for this facility, as she required a higher level of care than assisted living can provide. After just one night, it became clear that her needs exceeded what the staff could accommodate, and she was asked to leave. There were also concerns regarding her ability to follow facility guidelines, including issues such as letting her dog out without a leash, smoking outside, and not attending meals. Ultimately, it was evident that she needed more comprehensive support. Additionally, the process involved a significant amount of paperwork, and the facility’s “à la carte” pricing structure—charging separately for medications, bathing, and other assistance—can become very expensive for individuals needing a higher level of care.

The facility is clean and nicely decorated. The staff appears nice although I ve had limited interaction with staff it has been positive. I don't believe that some of the services they provide were explained as clearly as they could have been. The services required such as prescriptions through Guardian's pharmacy, were not explained as clearly as they could have been. The fact that you would have to pay [Amount Removed] a month if you don't use Guardian was not explained, nor was the fact that you pay[Amount Removed] dollars a month for the service fee. Your prescription cost is going to be more a month because they only get prescriptions for 28 days and not 90 days which is more cost effective.

There have been several issues as a result of the reorganization or whatever is going on! Food has also deteriorated since new chef came!!

Our Dad [Name Removed] seems to be enjoying the place. He is comfortable with the team. So are we as his children. His only issue is that he’s a gourmet chef. He wants a more southern foods menu option for his dinner meals. We had to purchase a small cooker. He likes soft foods due to his dentures and loves to eat smothered chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard and mustard greens, home made dressing, etc. Please check with him about his meal wish list

BEO just took over here in Jackson TN …Sunday lunch of 2 residents choice was only one… THEN THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD FOR TO GO BOXES AND SECONDS… ALSO MADE IT THAT WHEELCHAIRS WENT FIRST WHICH IS FINE THEN EVERYONE ELSE… WALKERS SHOULD GO AFTER WHEELCHAIRS!!! IF THIS IS WHAT BEO HAS TO OFFER THEN ALOT OF US WILL BE MOVING!!!
