Someone from our family visited my mother everyday. Staff was very helpful. Facility was very welcoming.

I would give them a 5 on all. Staff is very friendly and they generally care for my mom. Very happy with my choice and thank you guys for the help.

What we like the most about Danbury North is the open and airy design throughout the community/ They also accept Medicaid Waver. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

My sister needed respite care in December after being discharged from a rehab facility and with very little lead time she was welcomed as soon as possible. She is now moved in as a permanent resident. [name removed] and [name removed] who coordinate services and the residences are outstanding; very personable and just great people. The staff that works with my sister treat her like family and she truly enjoys them. They are wonderful, professional people. The food is outstanding, the facility is clean and there are activities to make sure the residents stay active. Its a difficult, life changing decision but if you need assisted living for your loved one, Storypoint gets 5 stars.

Absolutely a five, it was the best! Story point is one of the top rated adult/senior communities in a five state area. A beautiful amazing complex, the staff was continuously exceptional. The activity calendar was well organized, including in-house events, and entertainment!. The dining experience was exceptional, being prepared by talented, chefs and cooks. The therapy and exercise classes were well-versed and accommodated various levels of proper exercise. The residence were very warm and caring as mom made many friends there. Unfortunately, we lost our mom recently however, our family is incredibly blessed that Mom was able to live and enjoy her life at story point, surrounded by her loving family.

Utilize the questionnaires you provided...extremely helpful when reviewing facilities and making decision. Be certain to get special offers in writing. Definitely helps if info doesn't get communicated across departments. Know specific areas each is responsible for...facilitates resolving issues that may arise and assures you get correct information. Facility is "alive" ... residents are out and about ,lots of interaction at all times...well lit and looks like a real home. Overall one of the best and nicest in Stark County. All facilities will have challenges especially with changes. Mother is pleased happy and involved.

My Mom is a resident and Danbury is the best place for her. Danbury is bright, clean and full of life. There is lots for the residents to do, if they want to participate. My mom was in a different facility before moving to Danbury and moving was the best decision for her. Staff is caring, competent, compassionate and cheerful. I can see that she is already feeling better. I highly recommend Danbury of Mt. Vernon. Ask for [name removed], she is highly competent, helpful and compassionate!

My family realized that I needed more assistance and care than could be provided in our home. This community supported me with the opportunity and resources that I needed to improve my quality of life and recovery from seizures and strokes. I was also assisted with my activities of daily living. To this day I am fully functional and able to care for myself. There are multiple activities available to the residents: BINGO, outings, Exercise (Get Fit, TaiChi, and others), Bridge, Book Club, Balloon Volleyball, Chorus, Games, Happy Hour, Worship, Special Events plus additional opportunities . My community is filled with amazing people, from our executive director to the staff and residents. This is my HOME and it is filled with wonderful friends! We are a FAMILY!

A group of caring people, who are understanding and knowledgeable , helped moving my Mom into memory care, run smoothly. I am kept informed on her well-being and care, and am comforted knowing that she is in good hands.

I had a wonderful tour and meal in my first visit. Executive talked with me over an hour - all questions were answered. I selected a two-bedroom suite. It was on an end hall, so that gave me lots of windows. My cat enjoys sitting on the window sills. The people are friendly and lots of activities. I like that it is back from the road, so it is a really quiet, peaceful place. And, of course, I love the food and staff. They are in the middle of a remodel, but they are doing everything they promised me.

The facility for assisted living and memory care is beautiful and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and answers all of my questions. They make good suggestions as well to help me with Mom. The food is more than adequate with mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. The cost is high due to an extra assessment for memory care. Regardless, we are pleased.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We interacted with the residents and everyone seemed genuinely happy and comfortable being there. [name removed] went above and beyond to ensure the process was seamless!

My parents spent the last 40 yrs in Mount Vernon/Apple Valley area. After needing a little more help in the elder yrs they decided to move in Danbury. Had a great experience but wanted to try living in NY near family. After giving that a shot they decided they would rather move back to Danbury Senior Living in Mount Vernon. They were graciously accepted with open arms. They moved back recently and are happy to back where familiarity is critical. We couldn’t be happier with the amazing welcome from the entire staff. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] [name removed], [name removed] [name removed], and many more were so helpful in this transition. We appreciate the attentive care and warm welcome back.

We like them a lot. Good caring staff, nice well-maintained facility, nice residents, reasonable costs, pretty good food, good activities. We have had solid overall care for Mom. We've had a few challenges, naturally, but nothing major. One definite downside is that they have just one elevator. Overall, we've had very good experiences and Mom is happy there.

The staff are all so kind and caring. My mom has been there for 2 months now and even though she has severe dementia she is thriving. Every day she seems to be doing a little bit better. They care deeply about their residents and it shows. My mom was withdrawn and non-verbal in the beginning. Now, she is making funnies with the staff and actually talking some again.

Outstanding! My mother loves Danbury Millersburg. The social interactions and activities have been wonderful. She enjoys the old and new friends everyday.

A GREAT Activity Director [name removed]!!!! He is awesome!!! The food is subpar. Could be much better for how high the rent is! Very pretty building very inviting. My mom's room is very pretty how we set it up, think a few more square feet in den would have been better. I also like the wider halls because most folks have walkers or in wheelchairs.

They are good at explaining any changes going on. They know how to take care of most problems that arise. I would recommend to others.

It is an amazing facility. Some great fun activities, the food is fantastic and I really like that. The meal plan is only dinner unless you choose to have more meals per day. The staff is fantastic and the place is very clean. Chef is superb. He takes suggestions from the residence on foods that they like. We requested salmon soup when my dad gave a presentation on Finland and he served the salmon soup that evening for dinner as a traditional dish from Finland. My parents have an end unit which is a two bedroom with two bathrooms and it is absolutely perfect for them. I think it is around 900 ft.² so very spacious. On the first floor so they don't have to take the elevator. They love it. They also really enjoy the entertainment. There is a harp player that plays, Pianist, my dad is in the birding club and the garden club.

When looking for a great place for my grandma to live this is the place. The advisors with a place for mom told us to only look at the best of the best and I am glad that they did. Their first recommendation was StoryPoint Troy. With that we set up a tour to see the community. The gal that showed us around the community was very professional and was able to answer all of our questions and if she wasn’t able to she was able to find the answer for us. The apartment size that we looked at was a 1 bedroom and it was the perfect amount of space for my grandma. She was in love with it and didn’t know something like this was available for her. So thankful for everyone there at StoryPoint that was able to make my grandma feel more welcomed to her new home.
