It's was a difficult transition period, but once we got on the same page as the staff we were so much happier. The facility is good and the location nice, quite, and close enough to the country that you don't feel so city. Overall we are happy with our decision. And would use a place for mom again.

It will be nice if one of the dryers that currently doesn't work gets fixed. Nice when all of us get Channel 5 back. Good food service don't have to wait a long time to get the meal assigned to a person. Don't have fancy ham just plain ham.

We chose Forest Glen because of the convenient location for family and also it was recommended to us. The room sizes at the facility are sufficient for what she needs. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to others looking.

It's a clean place to stay and everyone is friendly and nice. Never seen anyone treated unkind. Even the residents think of each other all the time and spend time doing little things for each other. I'm happy here!
Friendly staff. Not all staff are up to date about residents care. Staff uses husbands wheelchair for other residents. Vegetables over cooked, steamed. I am told that incontinent residents are checked every 2 hours - NOT SO

I hope that I can afford to live in a place like this community when I need it. I would even go earlier so that I can enjoy it some also. The staff here are wonderful with my loved one. The activities are age appropriate and they engage everyone in the community.

I came here with my husband 3 years ago. he wanted to return home, but was very sick and I needed all the help I could get. Much help was given. I got to go to the water aerobics at the [name removed], on the shuttle, enjoy the many activities, poetry, book club, exercise. I stayed here after my husband passed and I am glad I did.
