Our family had an in person tour and they had some construction going on and we did see brand new renovated rooms but it seemed like they were just thrown together haphazardly. They were not as big as we thought being newly renovated and it was just not what we were looking for.

This community was our second choice pick for our loved one. There were just other things that out shined with the community that was number one and we just had to go with that one.

Our cooperative community with partnering with Independence Village. I have been impressed with the staff of this community and believe this partnership with Vintage of Ames will be a very positive venture.

This is a good community and there are people around all the time. There are a lot of choices on the menus for all of the meals. There is also a huge variety of apartment styles to give the residents different choices to pick from.

The food is great here. I don't feel alone, I enjoy living here. I always have something fun to do.

Heritage Hill is an amazing place for your loved one to live. The staff are genuine in their care and enjoy what they do. They make Heritage Hill feel like a home to the residents and their families. The many activities they do with the residents are fun and enjoyable.

I liked Pinebrook, except I thought the facilities needed serious updating. Also, the rooms just seemed small, with very low ceilings. And I'm not even a very tall person!

We ended up touring there twice for two different family members. I liked it a lot. It seemed clean and bright, and there were places for activities. A couple of the residents approached us and said they were very happy with it. I also liked that they offered three meals a day, and they boasted a chef.

I have lived in this community since it opened in 2015. Am still pleased with convenient location and services offered. We're not perfect - especially since COVID has made hiring employees difficult - but staff has kept us SAFE, well fed, and entertained. We are family!

I like the independecy. I really like the staff I get along with all the staff. I get mostly everything I ask for. I like the size of the rooms. Everyone has their own bathrooms. It feels like home.

Well managed community. Many activities to keep us busy. One meal (dinner) is usually above average and the chef listens, if we have complaints. Greatest fault-food is not served hot, mostly luke warm.

My father moved into the facility after the sudden death of my mom, who was his caregiver. Everyone was so welcoming and so helpful getting him settled and acclimated. There are so many activities and fun events to keep residents busy! All residents are always called by name and greeted with a smile! As a visitor, I was also always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. As he needed more care, we were able to add that - meds, escort to meal,, help with showering and dressing. I highly recommend this facility- the smaller size makes it more intimate and homey. The staff is amazing!

The residents are well taken care of here. The staff have all been good, and everything has been good as far as cleanliness.

I think very highly of how well organized it is, especially the meds. And the girls having the informs are great. They treat me very well and supply me with the right food. Some meals aren't proper for old people. Otherwise I'm satisfied. Housekeeping does very well. The help is very well.

I like the location. I like the bathrooms. I like the washer and dryers in room. The staff is very friendly. The residents are friendly. Again location, location.

Our community is always clean. Staff is always friendly and knows everyone's names. Everyone here is always smiling. The staff here wears many hats.

People are very attentive and nice. My coffee cup is never empty and hot. Housekeeping is always nice and very thorough in my apartment.

The community is very nice and very clean. The staff members overall all are friendly but there are different personnel there nowadays but they do a good job. The meals and dining service is very good, and there are activities for residents who want to participate. Memory care is expensive, but our loved one has a lot of medication and the staff do a great job keeping up with everything so the value for cost is pretty fair.

I arrived here about 3 years ago when the quality of the food was MUCH better. - The custodian left and has not been replaced. As a result, the floors are stained and disgusting. - The dinnerware shows something is wrong with the dishwasher. However - the staff is WONDERFUL. - Can't say enough good about them. They seem to really care about us.

Need to make sure they have enough qualifying staff for care of the residents. The people who are here are very good to the residents. There are several activities that appeal to residents. Everyone is helpful and have nice personalities.
