5 Stars for Storypoint Birmingham! Excellent care staff and dining and food selections. A menu for every breakfast, lunch and dinner. My father is thriving here. Very good social environment and calendar.

All 5's I appreciate so much the care and love that [name removed] received there. I only wish I had moved him sooner from [community removed] care so he could have benefited from all opportunities offered. The staff was incredibly supportive while [name removed] was in hospice and when he passed away.

Lovely facility; friendly and helpful staff; nursing staff is responsive. Adequate room size; convenient amenities (phone, television), including library, hair salon.

Facility is clean and well maintained. My mom is in memory care and the staff is attentive and provides good care. We had a few issues and they were very responsive to her changing needs. Staff tried to engage them in activities as much as possible

The people who take care of me are wonderful. The care staff take their time and know everything I need. I enjoy when the staff take time to come visit with me and get to know me. I am very happy here and am very happy with my care.

I have never seen a senior living place as fantastic as Danbury. I’ve never seen one employee roll their eyes at any request or comment from any resident. Every single employee is very caring and kind to all residents, from the administration down to maintenance and house keeping. If my mom’s room smells a little off but it’s not her room cleaning day the housekeeper will go take care of it quickly. I’m amazed at how they found so many employees that all love the residents! Very heart warming knowing mom is taken care of so well and she loves it there! Thank you to all of you!

Everyone knows her name and always speaks to her. The staff rotates through the memory care wing and the independent living wing which made her recent transition from independent living to memory care seamless. There are always plenty of activities available and she has especially enjoyed the weekly field trip to go out to lunch.

The staff at Danbury Mount Vernon have gone above and beyond to help my mom during a most difficult time of transition in her life. They have made sure that all of her needs are met and that she matters to them! I am so grateful for the peace of mind that comes with her living in this community brings.

Every staff member helps other staff members, regardless of assigned job. They have enough options of room sizes to fit most budgets.

What I liked most about Dominion is the attention to detail and how they attend to each individual personally.

I can’t thank the staff enough for how well they took care of my Dad. I thankful for not having to worry when I couldn’t be there. The facility is very clean and modern. Food was above average. Highly recommend.

We are so grateful to be a part of the Lakeview Terrace family. My mother absolutely loves it there! She’s been there about five years and loves sharing all the fun things she does. She is especially grateful for [name removed], who has been an absolute blessing on so many levels. She raves about [name removed] and [name removed], and how fun they are. She loves the resident staff and enjoys the food prepared by [name removed]. [name removed] is another favorite! To quote my mom, “The people at Lakeview Terrace don’t just care FOR you, they care ABOUT you!” Great place! So nice I wish I could live there !!

The staff are very kind and attentive. The facility is very clean and modern. Lots of activities for the residents. The staff shares with us photos and texts of Mom having fun during activities!!!!!!!!

It takes a lot of caring people to care for our aging parents and these are THE most caring people you will find. Anytime I need help with my mom, need answers on questions about her health or guidance on her medical care the loving people at Independence Village are there for me and my family. My mom’s face lights up when they walk into the room and I know they love her as much as she loves them. I am so blessed to have my Village family and know she is getting the best care where she is.

Clean rooms and facility Good meals and options. Great staff. Always friendly and helpful Lots of activities. Nice atmosphere. Everyone is always willing to help with anything asked of them. They also are great with the small dog.

The bus they had wasn't running for a while. They did get a bus driver to fix that. But they didn't have much for my father in law to do. No outings, no trips, no shows, no movie nights. No singers coming in to sing - it is Nashville after all! Really just very simple activities like ball toss for less mobile residents. He ending moving out because he was bored there. Other wise, the staff and facility were very nice and well located. My mother lived in a similar facility and they always had stuff for the residents to do, card games, trivia nights, movie nights, singers and entertainers coming in. Trips to local shows and shopping. Happy hour with wine for the residents. They had parties all the time, every holiday and just for fun. Parties for families to come to. She loved it.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. When it comes to the care services, I've needed to follow up on some things. The staff gets a 5+. With the meals and dining it was a 5 and they have a new chef. They are aware and admin has been working with chef to improve. We would ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend this community to other families. My mom was hesitant and only wanted to stay temporarily, and now tells me all the time how much she enjoys being there. It warms my heart.

Danbury is an exceptional facility! My Dad has been living there for 2 years and he is living his best life!! They have everything to offer for someone needing extra care and a quality lifestyle. The rooms are great, always clean. The meals are great, with a large variety served. The staff is fantastic!!!! They deeply care and do their very best to meet the needs of all their residents. If you need assisted living, this is the place!!!!

I wish my mom could have lived here before she passed away. I know she would have loved it. The staff are amazingly genuine and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure residents are cared for in the ways needed, they make sure each individual is given every opportunity to participate in activities that they enjoy. I’ve never been to a facility that I would love to live in some day until I had experience in this one. It’s definitely a special and valuable place.
