I like living here. The meals are tasty. I enjoy the activities.

Bayfield has been a great place. Always making sure that the residents are taken care of. [name removed] have all been rockstars. Thank you for your help and support during this transition.

Accommodations are exceptional.

It's the best place away from home if you can't be at home.

My biggest disappointment is that they promote that they provide transportation, but only Monday-Thursday from 9 am -12 pm. And that's only if they have a driver available. But overall, they've been wonderful and easy to work with. The food is really good - my mom can't stop talking about how great the food is. They are part of a group of Holiday communities that just got selected for renovations. They'll be redoing public spaces, carpeting, paint, furniture, all this winter. And it is a much needed update. Things were always clean but looked a little old. We assume there might be a rent increase afterward. But we're happy about the updates. Like all places currently, they're experiencing a staff shortage, but they're dong the best they can. Right now they have two housekeepers for 70 units, so we've had to supplement a little bit. My mom is really getting involved in the activities. They have exercises every day, so she's more active than before she moved in. And we've already seen an improvement in her spirits. She has already made some friends and is getting more involved, which our family is very pleased about. We like that it's a place where as she needs more help eventually, they will bring it to her and she won't have to move to a different part of the facility. They wrap those services around her in place, right where she is. Obviously there's more cost involved with that, but we knew that going in. So we are optimistic about her continued care in the community.

We chose Independence Village of Zionsville West because my loved one needed a facility that offered memory care, the location is convenient, and it is a very nice facility. Some of the staff in memory care are not as attentive as they could be I would overall recommend this facility to other families.

This seems like a good community. It's a little bit more expensive than some of the other options in the area. But they offer extra amenities that some don't. Wasn't the best fit for our loved one, but I would recommend them to others to at least check it out.

Based on our experience so far with Lakeview at Josey Ranch Senior Living we would recommend them to other families.

I think they’re very good overall and would (and have) recommend them to others. That said, no organization is perfect and IV has some opportunities to improve internal communication. For instance, they still publish activities, critical contacts and much other important information exclusively by printed paper.

I have been here for 6 years and I have anjoyed the comforts of living in this community . As the world continues to change I think I would like security cameras installed , although I have been safe here for years

Some things that are unsatisfactory are due to the state of the country at large; such as lack of supplies, available workers, and the economy. A few things could be improved, such as when something is spilled in the dining room, no one takes time to clean it up right away. I've seen food carts just drive through it, which is bad for the carpet. The head chef could be a little more compromising and flexible. I believe a percentage should be set on rent raises, so that we know what to expect. When I signed my contract they said the rent would increase 3 to 4%. The first year it increased 6% and more than 4% thereafter. Most of us are on a fixed income and have to be very careful of our spending. Now because they will be remodeling, rent will be increased accordingly. I believe part of this cost should be included with the cost of doing business.

My mom moved here because of the food, Just wished there were more options for diabetics.

I feel the meat is either too thin so its cooked fast and dried out. I also feel there are many people with dietary needs for low sugar, there is never a zero sugar or low sugar option for desserts or drinks offfered. that would be really nice to have a cup of coffee and having a dessert with friends. Jello can even be made sugar free. And last, the food needs to be served hot, almost each time it is luke warm or cold.

I have been living here for a long time and the food keeps getting better. Everyone is friendly

I was the first to move in as a resident - I continue to like this community (I am [age removed] years old).

The building has issues, loud banging on the third floor (plumbing.) Keeps us up at night. No good food choices for diabetes. Prizes for bingo is candy!

They have friendly staff, a clean community, and they are going through some growing pains. They are stretched very thin with staff; however, they are trying to ramp up the staffing to assist with the assisted living. There are several residents who don't care for some of the meals offered. The meals could be more basic and not as fancy for the residents. There are three meals a day being served to the residents. There is a special menu and an anytime menu to choose from.
