Although we have been satisfied with our choice, overall it has its challenges and is not been a solid 5. This might be the case with any assisted living facility. They certainly bend over backwards to make it better or meet needs . The facility itself is very well maintained. The food is just premade from Gordon Food Services but they at least offer choices and adjustments. The initial deposit to cover "extra" social activities was very high. We don't regret our decision with River Ridge it was best for both Mom ...and for Dad to spend time with her and made to feel welcome

My experience has been great, StoryPoint staff has been responsive to the needs of my Mother, when asked they respond. That really makes a difference in the "Care" for my mom.

Had our Mother at SToryPoint for 7 months. The facility was very nice. Mom enjoyed it, but would not participate in any of the activities offered. She did make some new friends that she enjoyed her meals with. Some of the meals were " to fancy" for her liking( a meat and potato type person) seems they used a lot of sauces and cheese on the food. Some times hard after the front door receptionist left for the day Laurus Home Care to pick up-not even a answering machine to leave a message.. The care from Laurus Care was ok, you could tell the ones that wanted to be there and work with the elderly -in enhanced care there is not much medical that they can do for a resident-a lot falls back on the family .only 2 people on the night shift for the enhanced wings-not sure how safe that is.

We chose Devonshire because we were able to get in right away and we were impressed with the appearance of the facility. The place is clean and bright. Majority of the staff is friendly. Love the services on site - hair, nails, medical care. They have initiated suggestions to improve care that are helpful. Activities are good. I feel welcomed when I visit. We are able to go outside.

Our family had an in person tour and overall we would say that everyone we met with was very friendly and very accommodating, but the residences and atmosphere just felt old

It's a good place overall. Just stay involved with your family member though, because it takes outside pressure to get things done sometimes.

Anthology is a good facility. They can be short-staffed at times. But the food is excellent. And I'm happy with our choice to place our loved one here.

Boulder community is very nice, this community was my loved ones third choice. However I didn't like the bedrooms being so close to the living room, felt as if their were no privacy. The layout of the amenities were nice, just the layout of the bedroom we didn't like.

The front desk is welcoming, it's a very clean facility, but parking can be a pain. It is a beautiful facility, the staff is kind but doesn't always communicate well. This has been my first experience so maybe it's common but you have to provide EVERYTHING for your loved on: toilet paper, hand soap (and that has to be special kinds that we were not told ahead of time) A lot is locked up in regards to bathroom toiletries and such, makes it hard to keep track of things needing replenishment.

We liked the community.

Very nice, party for the residence. Food was very good. The Staff was very engaging; The facility was spotless! Mom, enjoyed her evening. Was nice to have something like this to enjoy with her.

I rated cleanliness at a 2 because they haven't been able to retain a housekeeper. My mother has asked numerous times for someone to vacuum and no one has. I see her every Friday to wash her laundry and her carpet was finally vacuumed after 5 or 6 weeks. I take out her trash bc when they have housekeeping no one does it. I thought light housekeeping meant cleaning bathroom(I clean every week), taking out garbage (I do this every week), light dusting(this has never been done) So I'm very disappointed with the lack of housekeeping. It is independent living so no one "takes care of her" but she has a "life alert" button and goes to Physical 2x a week. According to my mom they don't have much of a variety of meals. Unfortunately my mom is rather picky in her older years and she has mentioned they don't offer much of a selection it is either Fish (for example) or grilled cheese. Mom eats a lot of grilled cheese. I wish they offered 2 dinner selections. The activities seem like a fun idea but unfortunately my mother suffered from Non- essential tremors and can't do crafts and she is physically disabled in that she has to use a walker to walk so she doesn't really participate in the activities unless they involve listening to live music or something that doesn't involve walking. Overall we are satisfied with Creekside at Shallowford but we are disappointed with lack of meal options and housekeeping. All of the staff members are fantastic I would recommend it. My mom went from living on her own and not eating properly, taking care of herself to being a part of the community. Other than housekeeping issues which aren't their fault and the food issues, my mom is happy there.

The overall community is clean but our loved ones personal room is not.

Our experience has been okay, and I would recommend them overall. The other residents are awesome. We've just experienced some loopholes/Issues trying to get things done, so we've had to do lots of follow-up.

The food service at the community is poor. The food information that is available is in small font on the wall, and this makes it difficult for the residents to read. The residents don't have all the options available to them. The family has talked with the chef and management about our concerns, and nothing has been done about our suggestions for the menu and more about the food service. The staff and residents at the community are very friendly. There have been issues with medication management, and we aren't sure if this is due to my loved one's health condition or due to staffing concerns. I had referred someone and the individual moved in and this individual also had issues with the community. There are daily activities for the residents to engage with, and they have a variety of options.

Our family had an in person tour, with this being one of three communities we looked at overall we had a good tour experience.

White Lake is a very beautiful facility. I think it's a good choice. It's nice and bright and cheery in there, and not depressing at all. If you have to send your parents somewhere, it's a good option. There are some aspects of our loved one's care we're still sorting out with them, and hopefully we can get that resolved soon. But overall we're happy there.

We picked this community based on the assumption of services offered based on the price. They need more staff. What we love about this community is the location and the people.
