Overall very pleased. Areas for improvement: Need a new hairdresser! Someone to answer the phone when calling. Make sure residents know when their food is delivered and not leave it sitting outside in the hallway. Have more consistency with the dining room staff. Maintenance is slow to respond. Had 3 weeks to get the apt ready before she moved in(was paying rent in during that time) and she's been moved in for 4 weeks this Saturday and they still have one more thing to fix.

The housekeeping is good. The move in process was smooth. The meals have improved in variety, healthfulness and portion size. I would like to see more field trips to points of interest in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other residents are friendly. I like it here.

I would recommend Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care. The location is great. The room has a nice view of nature. The staff were wonderful. Sometimes they were short of staff. The food was a little disappointing.

We liked the location of the community as well as the administrators. The direct care staff were young, inexperienced, and slow to answer the call bell.

I would recommend it to others but would encourage them to visit a couple of times during busy hours to observe the care of residents.It is clean, friendly and the staff are caring but they are understaffed, so residents don't always receive the care they need at the moment.It was a promising place to put my loved one.

We like that the Sunrise of Gahanna community is close to where we live. The director is great! We like the fact that it is small. Lots of windows... feels homey. Most of the workers are very caring!!

After viewing a number of "living" areas, I realized I really wanted to live in an area filled with many or all kinds of abilities/handicaps - I found this here, plus! it's all one floor level.

I, with my wife, have been here for 6 months. The care persons and the staff genuinely care about the residents! The overnight laundry staff is incompetent. The major need is more staff for housekeeping, dining room, and caregivers. Finally, this is a safe, secure, and caring, loving home for us.

Someone else does the grocery shopping, carries the groceries in, and prepares my food! Someone else does my laundry! Someone else cleans my place and changes my bed! I'm happy, safe, & secure.

I have had a good experience since I have been here. People are friendly and helpful when I need help I really enjoy the exercises and going to the beauty shop/ The outings to resteraunts are great.

The room/apartment size and storage is the best I found out of the 4 other facilities I checked into. I would definitely recommend Danbury in Massillon to others looking. It is a good facility and price.

My mother moved into this community about 18 months ago and in hindsight we have no regrets. Great facility with dedicated and caring staff. Were some glitches involving dining service earlier this year but they have made some noticeable changes and things have improved significantly. The Executive Director is personally involved with the residents and has gone above and beyond what should be expected in recent months after my mother was hospitalized and then in rehab. Highly recommend!

Good good care, would be more licensed people. Not good food because company doesn't allow budget for healthier meals.

The staff at Independence Village of Zionsville West are solution oriented. If there is an issue, it is best to talk to the Executive Director in person. I had a couple of issues when I moved in. I had to constantly follow up on the issues. The food is pretty good, but you do get reasonable portions. Independent Living only includes a continental breakfast and dinner. If you want to add lunch, you can do so for a cost. They do clean once every other week. But it doesn't include dusting, wiping down baseboards or windows. I am going to hire the lady who used to clean for me. I'm asking her to clean my place extremely well once a month. The meal on Veteran's Day was the best meal ever. They had a very nice pinning ceremony. People look out for each other here, which is very nice. The staff is very nice.

Bronson Place is a great place for vibrant young-thinking people who enjoy making things, playing games, meeting new friends, and going on outings.
