Be specific about things that are important to you and/or the resident. What does an added service actually entail & what oversight is there to be sure it is being done and done correctly. The faculty/staff here are very friendly but difficult to pin down as to when a request will be fulfilled. (Ex: shower requested after noon may mean they show up at 11PM!)

Strengths: flexibility of kitchen to meet nutritional needs. Caregivers helpful & willing to go the extra mile and consistent. Physical, occupational, & speech therapies on site - excellent. Excellent activities. Transition confusing. Had to learn by experience. Fire alarm went off & I had no idea what to do. Would be helpful to have writing to refer to.

The staff are very efficient, helpful, and kind. The staff are concerned for our safety and wellbeing. The staff are great and I enjoy my new home.

Staff is Great! Friendly, accommodating, as are most of the residents. Housekeeping is great and helpful and doing laundry of bedding and such is very helpful. I DO recommend this facility as a clean, safe, and comfortable home.

I have enjoyed living at ponder creek. i like the staff and the friendliness of the other residents. i have made some great friends so far and im sure i will meet plenty more. i enjoy having a community that i feel apart of.

when this place was built, my sister and I both decided that we would come here to live when it was time. Ponder creek makes me feel safe and cared for. I really love the staff and the activities are always fun.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sanctuary Grande. The staff is great. They are a little short staffed, which causes some delays. Overall, very nice!

Our loved one has now passed away, but the day time staff were very kind and supportive. Based on the experience we had with StoryPoint Birmingham community, we would recommend this community to other families.

The staff is very nice and the place is beautiful. The negative is that my loved one has pushed her button and had no one come and I've tried to change the meal plan and they just kind of ignore me.

I lived here with my husband, we moved for a while and he passed away and I moved back. The best part is the friendships, not having to cook or clean, and the activities I wouldn’t have if I lived alone. I don’t have to maintain a car because the transportation is provided. The activities help with passing the time and my church comes here to provide communion. It’s easier to have the companionship here than being home alone.

Overall cleanliness is ok. My mom's bathroom needs to be cleaned daily or at least 3-4 times a week. Not its just being done once a week.

Mom moved in following the loss of dad and a series of medical issues. After some trepidation, she has made friends and become active in many of the offered activities. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for better!

We chose here because we felt comfortable with the people running the place. But some things are not realized until you're in it. In hindsight, we should have visited a few more places. We're okay here for now, but there have been issues that didn't need to be issues.

I have been a Danbury residents for almost 5 years. I watched facility being built and enjoyed getting to know administrative staff and caregivers from beginning before consensus grew. Have always felt safe and appreciated. The frequent change in administration and clinical staff has been difficult. Hopefully stability will return.

It was very clean and open, people are all very nice. Employees mostly all sincere. It was a bit more difficult to get dr and cardiology care/ referrals set up- the medical care was mostly on your own. This was difficult because we were coming from up north. The level of care my mom needed was expensive, however I am sure you probably get what you pay for. The care and food at provisional was way better than our previous facility.

I like the daily activities and weekly entertainment . The shuttle service is convenient for appointments. I love the wooded view and animals from my apartment.

It takes too long to respond to buzzes for assistance. Wound dressings are not changed regularly. Face washing and teeth brushing don't happen daily. Apartment hasn't been vacuumed or dusted as advertised. Same entrée is offered everyday during the week. Few vegetables are served.
