Staff are awesome and their administration is also the facility is beautiful and clean. Many room sizes in the amending these are offered. You have to talk to them because they are different each person.

I have been associated with Danbury for little over a year . I gave them a 4 star because I often witnessing the aides in the dementia Wing spending too much time on their cell phones and not enough time engaging with the residences. My dad often seems bored with the activities that are offered as many of the crafts and games seem centered around women . They need to have more "male oriented" activities. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help in anyway. Overall, I'm comfortable with the atmosphere that is there knowing it is not a nursing facility..........

I like the activities, but service of some of the wait staff could use improvements.

The one and only problem we have had is with the in house company they have that you can hire to help with mediation. We had a really bad experience with them and do not feel comfortable with them taking care of my dad's medication so we are now looking into moving him to the assisted living in story pointe so their people will be taking care of medication. Everyone else and everything else we have been extremely happy with. Every administration and facility staff member does a great job of being welcoming and making the transition easier. They have went over and beyond to help my dad settle in and get involved.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure residents are welcomed and get involved in various activities. The staff gets to know residents and all about their families. The facility is super clean.

The Sanctuary Grande is a wonderful facility. The grounds are wonderfully kept and the interior is spotless. Mom is amazed at the food and food selection. She keeps saying she is going to be charged extra because they have so much food. She will hardly believe me that it is just another fine feature of the facility. The only thing that would make it better is if they had more evening activities. Mom is a late night person, so she gets lonely and bored in the evening.

Frequent staff turnover and sometimes not enough staff to respond to residents in a timely manner, but even the new staff are friendly and helpful. Bathrooms could use a more thorough cleaning, but average. Chef prepared meals. The chef meets w each new resident to learn of their preferences. Excellent selection of meals. Dining room is beautiful, like a restaurant w cloth napkins, very nice dinnerware and goblets. No plastic utensils, except when a virus was going around. When there was a virus going around, everyone was confined to their room and meals were brought to each resident 3 times a day. Music presentations. Movies, day outings, exercise classes, hair salon available certain days, family and friends holiday dinners, crafts, and lectures. Room and board has a yearly rate that increases each year. Level of care is added, 3 levels available depending upon the resident. Level of care is set up w the initial admission, then after 1 month then routinely every 6 months. Level of care will be re-evaluated if the health status of the resident changes for a month or more. I found Story Point to be much more reasonable w pricing and level of care than several I visited. They have extra levels that allow for a 1, 2, or 3 person assist rather than just one person, which was very valuable for my husband, especially as his level of care changed sometimes monthly. I found Story Point to be the friendliest even w frequent staff changes of a previous assisted living facility. They almost always stop to talk with you, call you by name, even the administrative members. They also cry with you when your loved one passes. The apartments are perfect size w generous sized bathroom. Kitchen has the necessities, sink, cabinets, and refrigerator. No need for an oven or extra appliances as a dishwasher. The building is very modern and exceptionally clean, also always smells nice.

StoryPoint Collierville is an excellent senior living location. It accommodates the various living stages of a senior’s life. Change is tough but SP makes it an easier adjustment to progress in living assistance needs The various types of activities both inside the facility and outside keep a senior’s mind occupied

The nursing and care staff in the memory unit are extremely helpful and professional, working to meet each resident with the care needed for their particular situation. The entire facility is clean, well maintained and provides a beautiful environment for the residents. There have been a number of positive changes implemented by the new management (as of [date removed]) including improved meals, more activities, a memory-care support group, and other changes discussed that are coming soon The executive team has also been top notch - professional, super responsive and very helpful.

The facility is clean but dated decor. Carpet in halls is stained, curtains in laundry are old/stained. Needs a refresh. Friendliness - depends on the person. Mom needs care and the quality depends on the person - without hospice supplemental care we would be very disappointed. We always feel like they are upselling services. It is VERY expensive.

The director [name removed] is fantastic. The folks that run the events are great. The nurses are very helpful. We have struggled a bit with memory care personnel not being trained in memory as they need to be. There has been lots of turnover with the management change. Food is good but not gourmet. Service is really slow due to understaffed 1-2hrs to get dinner. We have considered moving them with some frustration but things are getting better and it would be more disruptive to move them at this point. The complaints are mostly irritants but some I expect more for the cost. They are there when it counts though so far.

I find the common areas in the independent living apartments very clean and well taken care of. Employees seem to care about and check in with their residents regularly. They have a lot of events and activities. This is a quiet environment if that's what someone is looking for.

The facility, meals and activities are managed separately from the care services. The care services are on an ala carte basis which allows for flexibility. They are dedicated to keeping couples together as long as possible before/if one needs to move to memory care.

They took great care with my Uncle until he passed away last [date removed].

The place seems nice and safe. I have not spent a lot of time there, because I do not live nearby, but my Dad seems content. I appreciate how easy it was to move him in to the facility. The day to day cleaning of his space seems to be subpar, but if you ask someone they will clean it up.

The initial tour was very inviting and beautiful. They were very welcoming. Move-in day and the first couple months were a little frustrating, trying to get some basic things set up. Communication was up and down the first couple months and occasionally hard to get a response. Food is good with small portions as to be expected. The staff is friendly, although sometimes understaffing is an issue. Good people stretched thin. Following up with them is very important.

We chose this facility for our mom after terrible experiences at two other local facilities. Danbury of Mentor is far superior. The staff takes pride in their work, they are caring and certainly know how to deal with dementia clients in the memory care. Danbury has also helped me with peace of mind, knowing that my mom is now happy and content. Thank you Danbury for all that you do.

For the entire 5 or so years my parents have resided in Devonshire at some level. I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff. I have witnessed the care, consideration, and respect given to residents on all levels including hospice. Residents are treated with dignity.

The staff especially the executive staff are all very nice and work extremely hard to do the very best. But as everyone on this field knows, there is never enough staff to go around so like any place they have their hiccups. I would say the food is probably best described as inconsistent. The biggest issue we have had has been about maintenance issues. Delays due to limited staffing and other issues is the primary issue at the moment. Again, this isn't new to any of these facilities but there has been a struggle to get some basic issues handled in a reasonable timeframe. But overall they have been great to work with and if an issue is presented they move quick to try and resolve the best they can.
