I would tell others that the staff is wonderful. The food is lackluster according to my loved one. The community still isn't able to take the residents outside of the community on outings due to the shortage of staff during the pandemic. Overall, I would recommend the community.

I am pretty happy here. They keep us as busy as they can.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine. The issues with this community and why we did not consider it, was because it was to large. It was a little overwhelming and because it was so larger we were concerned in our loved one needed assistance it would take someone awhile to come.

We chose River Ridge Retirement because of the location and also the building looked very updated. I think all the staff were very caring. The management and employees could have done a better job at communicating with each other. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

The house keepers here are always constantly cleaning, and even with the staffing struggles and having to wait sometimes for different services the staff member's are very friendly and doing the best they can. The meals are fabulous, and the dining service is efficient enough. They have numerous activities provided all day long which is great, and all the amenities here are wonderful. There is a bus driver here that takes us to different doctors appointments, and other places in the community.

This community is fine but they have been purchased by another company and they are understaffed. There have been gaps in food services and medication delivery. Overall it is a nice community but knowing what I know now I would put her somewhere else. They are on their third executive director and the new one is setting in. It will take time for them to get the necessary staffing and to get their act together. Everyone is very pleasant and they treat my loved one well. I would say to give this community some more time to get things together.

I would say to look into this community for your loved one if you like a smaller type place. The activities are limited due to covid at this time. The staff are good my loved one deals with them pretty often.

Nice community, more expensive than expected.

The apartments are very spacious. My mom was able to bring a large loveseat and over sized chair with a few end tables in the living area. There hasn’t been much turnover of nurses and caregivers for the 6 months my mom has been here. This has given us the opportunity to establish good relationships. All other staff has been friendly and always willing to help with any questions we have. The activity staff has encouraged my mom to participate in many of the games, entertainment and exercise events provided on a daily basis. She has something to look forward to each day. I will say it is important to have family as advocates to make sure all needs are taken care of and addressed, especially in those first few weeks/months after moving in. This of course is with any facility where an elderly person is being taken care of. Those advocates have to keep on top of medical issues, billing charges, etc. The move to StoryPoint for my mom has overall been a good experience.

The new manager here is very experienced, nice and extremely hard working. The cleanliness has been a little bit of an issue just with the covid staffing issues but doing their absolute best given the circumstances and sometimes the meals are a hit or miss. We do get three different options with dinner, but breakfast occasionally is the same with maybe a few different changes here and there. The residents here make sure activities going on, I always make sure to have movies playing in the movie theater at night

We really like the smaller scale of the community, it is more of an intimate relationship between the staff members and the residents. We especially like that because our loved one does require more care. The community is very inviting and overall we are very happy.

Excellent facility, very well run. Needs updating (carpeting, furniture, etc.).

The front desk, the admin and the day to day staff are just amazing. We have had some issues with communication and not getting as much feedback as we would love from the care team, but whenever we do voice a concern they are all over it and it has improved. The meals are wonderful and they have an amazing activities director. It has been a great experience so far, and we are happy with our choice. The sales or head marketing lady [name removed] saved our life, she is the most amazing person I have ever met.

It is a very friendly community. The staff is very outgoing. It's just a really inviting and cheerful place. I like my apartment. I got new floors when I came in, and they're nice. I absolutely love the view I got. It has just been really uplifting seeing that view from my apartment every day - all the time, any kind of weather.

The first impression of the facility is great, but things are not always perfect. Overall it has been a really good experience. We are especially pleased with activities, he is actually participating. For what he is getting the price is most impressive to us. I would recommend to others looking.

i have been at this facility many times and feel that this is a great place for Seniors to live, the Staff is very friendly and tries to make sure that the people have what they need. the place is clean. They have many activities for the residents to participate in. i feel that this is a great place for Seniors to live at.

I enjoy living here - good food, good friends, wonderful activities.

I highly recommend them. It's a nice place to go. The people are nice. I have a nice apartment with a washer and dryer in it. The food is excellent, and surprisingly better than I thought it would be. They could improve on outside safety when it's snowy out. And the nursing staff is a little less than desired. But those are my only complaints really.

The community is always kept very clean and our mother is really enjoying all the meals they service and the dining staff. She is kept very busy with all the activities, and compared to others in the area the value for cost is great.
