Its not home but its ok.

The tour was very complete, cost is very competitive, I will be moving into a 2 bedroom suite. The food at lunch was excellent and I enjoyed the couple that we were seated with. The only disappointment was when I was signing my contract the community fee that was $[removed] 3 to 4 months ago was suddenly close to $[removed]. All of the staff and the residents that I met were very welcoming and spoke warmly about the facility and I felt very comfortable there.

I find it good being here at Danbury Tallmadge.

Living at Danbury Tallmadge in enjoyable and I'm glad to be here.

Mother lived there for 5 month. Overall good excellent. Food quality decent but not great. Staff and resident were very nice.

I live here with my husband. Currently I am living in the Independent Community and my husband is living in the Assisted Community. He is working on getting stronger so we can live together once again. It's been a great place and the staff are always available when you need them. The activities are outstanding. We would like a little more variety in the menu at dinner time.

The staff at Danbury is very kind and caring. The facility is very clean but I wish they cleaned my mother's apartment daily. I realize that may not be feasible. Overall we like Danbury very much. It's a very nice clean facility and knowing that they check on my mom at least every 2 hours and make sure she's showered and fed regularly was appreciated. They also offered us a fixed rate regardless of my mom's care needs.

My husband became a client of Danbury [date removed]. The staff helps with care for my husband including transportation and bathing. We are adjusting to the schedule.

What I am most happy about is that her single room has much more room than any of the single rooms at other facilities. The price is in line, if not a little less. The best way to improve on activities is more of them and publicize.

Friendly residents, welcoming environment. Areas for improvement: Food -- less starch, no tomatoes, more fresh, less processed. Activities -- more physical, bird feeders with bird identification

Danbury Hudson is an active energetic community with administration that is always striving to improve services. The Danbury difference is evident in the friendly caring staff. My husband and I are very comfortable and happy, having made many friend here.

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. The residents seem to be happy here. An area for improvement is the onboarding process. It felt like I needed to search for information that a new resident would routinely need.

I have been pleased with everything that has gone on. You sit in the restaurant area and listen to other people talk and you don’t have the same opinions. Not every night do I look at the menu and say do I want that and that not everything is perfect but I have been pleased with a lot of things.

The staff is very helpful. I was moving my car and one of the staff came over and moved my walker for me so it made it much easier. I also needed some work done on my plant. I was repotting my African violet and maintenance drilled a hole in one of the pots for me and housekeeping replanted it for me. All that was so helpful. The nurses are fantastic! Some of the rules of the new contract are not acceptable.

. I would say a 4- 5 on everything except food & expense. Mom complains about the dinner meals but says breakfast & lunch are great. The cost is comparable to other facilities, but long term care for the elderly is just outrageous!

I am happy at Governor's Village. The staff is friendly and I like that I have a group of friends to interact with and do activities. The food selection is better some weeks than others. I like that there are alternate choice if I do not care for something.

I came here because my daughter lives close. I am independent. It is very nice but very different than living at home alone. I go to most activities and have made new friends.

Husband and I moved in 3 years ago [date removed] about 1/2 to 2 yrs ago things start to decline laundry and housekeeping staff declined as well as quality and availability of food. Menus repeated every other week cost of community is not up to par with price.

Overall a positive experience the every day food could be improved upon yearly rate increase becoming Burdon some pluses out weigh the negatives.

Could be more variety of activities. Meals and food service lack at times.
