I toured this facility and really liked it, they were actually my first choice. It's a fairly new facility. Very clean. Staff was friendly. However, after the assessment they said they couldn't provide the level of care that my loved one needed. So we continued with our search. But I really liked this place!

We found that the food is good and healthy, for our loved resident. The staff is very kind and caring, but seems to turn over at frequent intervals, and not all positions are filled. The staff seems to know each resident personally, and tries very hard to provide a pleasant experience for all folks who are living there, with benefits including small animal visits, a Happy Hour event, frequent trips to cultural and entertainment venues. Previously, shopping trips were offered, but right now, the status of that part of the living experience is in question. We occasionally have questions about the follow-through by the medical staff, regarding blood-sugar testing, insulin administration, and changes in prescription drug requirements. This is most likely caused by a shortage of trained, certified medical CNAs, RNs, and the contracted medical service.

My experience was a surprise. I have been here over 2 years and I am very content here. I moved from a town in Nebraska that I had lived for 85 years. I expected to be lonely and miserable. Just the opposite. I am very happy here.

Almost 6 years done in August 2022. I couldn't use more, or better help, or any type o assistance in any type of real, or imagined living problem that occurs in upper senior age. In daily living help, or whatever thing that occurs health, or whatever help needed by any staff on duty, especially the upper ranking staff.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. Overall the community is very friendly both staff and residents. The grounds are lovely, I take my loved one for walks. The dining room is good and so is the food. The residents are very friendly and so are the staff, whenever a problems arises they always fix any issues if things are not going the right way.

Springvale has been very attentive to my mother's needs in the memory care assisted living side. The temperature control, however is not adjustable for her individual room which is unfortunate. Springvale was so kind to help my mother and father celebrate their 67th anniversary by organizing a special luncheon, making a cake and decorating a room for them. The chef and director worked together to make this a special occasions– Springvale is a friendly, caring and clean facility and would highly recommend to those searching for a place for their loved ones.
