Stonegate Village been okay. My father does like it there and seems happy with it. We've had some issues with his medication management, but I think my sister has straightened it out for the most part. Expense wise, it's a rather expensive place. I understand that similar facilities are about the same price, but for the caliber of staff I would rate the Value for Cost at a 3, at best.

Staff is friendly for the most part . The biggest concern is the food. Food that is being served at the wrong temps . Sometimes cold ... we were told that within the first few weeks of my mom being there, that they would be making her favorite meal (still hasn't happened - and she has been there since [date removed]). Seems like we were told one thing and other things happen.

The outside of the facility is Attractive. It is the only housing on a large piece of property. However, the inside of the facility is in need of major renovations. The carpet on all floors is worn and torn. The dining room chairs are worn and torn. The manager, assistant manager, chief, activities Director, are all new within the last Two weeks to 5 months. The temporary maintenance person left last week. The dining room staff are all very nice and they also try to vacuum residence lots apartments between meals.

Parkside's activities leadership is fantastic. They know the residents, and they plan and change up activities based on residents' interests and abilities. They encourage participation, even to the point of going to resident's rooms to bring them down. They truly care about them all.

We chose based on price and proximity to family members. (And appropriate staff quality). We would recommend it to others.

I think it is the best in the area compared to what I have heard about other places. It is closest to me and has a good reputation.

Frankly the staff interactions were key. The facilities met their needs. Pricing was good, too. The staff have been excellent. I would recommend Jackson Meadow to those looking for independent living.

I would recommend the facility, but I do have issues with them not returning messages. This has happened more than once.

I liked how the place looked. It was new, nicely decorated, clean, nice layout. The staff was mostly very friendly. They didn't follow through on some of their promises. For example, there was no hairdresser or activities director for months. Other employees tried to fill in with activities, but often they were often understaffed.

We would recommend to others and have already done so. We picked this community because it was good and they accepted Medicaid. Only Disappointment is with the Rx system in place.Very difficult to make the many prescription changes weekly & monthly as needed for Parkinson's with two additional people / offices in between the Dr and patient.

Story Point did a great job of getting us to commit. They were incredibly attentive and accommodating. Since my in laws have been there the level of attentiveness has diminished. My biggest concern is that several of their friends who live there have experienced a huge rate hike after the first year.

I am a resident at Holiday Beaverdale Estates and everything has been very good. Overall, we are very pleased with our new home!

They do need more housekeepers because they aren't doing everything that needs to be done each week, but what I do like most about StoryPoint Novi is the community of residents. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend them to other families.

The staff are phenomenal. Such kind people, very willing to help. Move in was easy. If local, I would suggest using their recommended movers as they are very familiar with the building and how to move in smoothly. The food preparation is great. The chef asked my mom when she moved in what her favorite food is and he had it on the menu the next week. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase proactive communication with family members, especially if someone is refusing services like house cleaning, bathing assistance etc. It is always the case that I have to reach out to them to see how things are going, only to find out later that there are problems. [Name removed] especially needs to do a better job of proactively communicating to families when something is not going as desired. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

The Everlan staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The housekeeping aspect is a great add to the included benefits. The move-in process was very smooth; Everlan was extremely accommodating. The meals, by and large, are of good quality, yet more variety and consistency with the restaurant staffing would enhance that experience. Overall, I would recommend that individuals exercise due diligence in their search process to see what works best for their family member(s); we found Everlan to be best option for my parents situation, life stage and budget. To date, we are pleased with our decision.

Very friendly staff, they are always welcoming and helpful when needed! As far as the food goes, they need more of a variety on the menu and higher quality foods/meals.

My loved one has only been there for a few months so far, so can't say I have experienced the full facility yet. Good overall flow, prompt answers from staff, food readily available and usually tasty. The facility is in a convenient location near to many stores and events for outings with family members. They just updated all their furniture in the corridors. They are updating the carpet now. When all the carpet is updated I would increase the rating on the value for the money to 4.

The facility is clean, there are several floor plans to meet your loved ones needs. The pricing is comparable. Staff are very welcoming. They are also great with follow up when information has been requested.
