Had to find a good home for my mother-in-law immediately. She had a fall in her home and went to the hospital. She could not return to her home and live on her own. We found Beaverdale Estates and with all their help were able to Rent her apartment within a couple days. At first she was afraid and wouldn't leave her apartment only for meals , even though she had an ambassador who accompanied her and tried to encourage her to participate in different activities. She has now lived here for about 5 weeks. She has started going down to the lounge area where she had made friends. Just the other day she thanked us for finding her such s nice place to live. She said the food is very good and everyone is so friendly. We are all so relieved to know that she is safe and happy.

I toured Carmel Senior Living with a dear friend whose family had abandoned her. The tour guide was very informative and showed us an apartment which my friend immediately wanted. This apartment is now her new home which has completely changed her outlook on life. She is no longer depressed and is very happy as she is a very outgoing person. Thanks to Carmel a Senior Living she has a new lease on life! Now she can truly say there is no place like home??

Seems to be a nice place. When a request is made for maintenance, they seem to respond quickly. For example, during move in, we decided we needed one set of closet doors removed so we could use a chest of drawers in the closet space, and the maintenance person was there right away. The bathroom sink was leaking a bit of water onto the counter during use and that was fixed very quickly after it was reported. Cable TV is included, but when we moved in, we didn't know how to get it working and that was taken care of for us as soon as we reported it. The food is good and there are plenty of options at meal times. Fresh fruit and other snacks are kept on hand for those who might want a snack between meals. Residents are provided with clean sheets and towels and housekeeping comes into their apartments once per week to clean and change sheets and replace towels. Compared to other places we looked at, the price seems very reasonable. The person that I helped to move in will be able to live there with all of his basic needs met without having to dip into his savings. He is using his social security and his pension to pay his monthly rent and meet his basic expenses (which are very few since all the necessary things such as food and utilities are already included).

Things are going very very well with my Mom here. We love the place. They have the best staff I've come across. They're so happy, from the kid in the dining room to everyone, they know us by first name, they're always smiling. I couldn't recommend it any higher. My mom loves knowing there's activities going on and people around her. The food is excellent.

Spring Meadows is active as a person wants to be. They have a lot of activities and try to include everyone, but don't force it. It's a casual environment, they're friendly. My mother-in-law is doing pretty good there.

Our family is at peace that mom is so happy here! This was a huge move for her but she adjusted well and loves her new home! Thank you!

Willow Park is great. We love it. They have been fabulous for my dad. We have been impressed with the security, and the freedom. The management, and Caring Group, who are available at a very reasonable fee. The grounds are beautiful, and the food is wonderful. I would give them a 7 out of 5

As I enjoyed my first meal with two friends, I'm left feeling full and grateful that Glen Eagle is a place I can feel is my own. My thank-you goes to my first contact person, Susan, she assisted me the most.

Carmel Senior Living is a wonderful place to stay. Things are going very good with my mother there, and we are very pleased. Everyone is friendly. The residents want to make friends, and visited her in the hospital and rehab when she had pneumonia. They brought her gifts. She would say the food needs some improvement, but she is particular with food. Most people would probably like the food.

We had an urgent situation and needed a knowledgeable resource to help us. We found that in Kathy and the entire staff at the new StoryPoint facility in Grand Rapids MI. Since the facility had not opened and we needed to place our mother quickly, the staff at both the Grand Rapids and Grand Ledge facilities were able to place our Mom in Grand Ledge MI until the new GR facility opens the week of 3 21 16. We will not forget the quality service we have received.

Senior Star at Weber Place seems to be a caring place. It is clean. The staff is friendly and really cares for the residents. My Father-in-law is doing good there.

My Mom truly loves being at Glen Eagle and has made plenty of friends since moving in. There are so many activities to keep the residents busy and the food is excellent! The general atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff have been great. I would most definitely recommend the place!

My father is doing pretty good, he is doing really well with adjusting to the move. The staff at Story Point are real caring and friendly. The meals are very good. There are a lot of activities the residents are able to participate in. This is a nice place overall.

Finding a place for my husband wasn't the easiest task and I surely don't know what I would have done without the help of A Place For Mom. Since moving him into Glen Oaks things have been great! He really likes it there and even participates in the activities which is not like him at all! He's made cinnamon rolls and volunteered at Well Fargo with the residents and is really enjoying himself! The staff are great and take really good care of the residents! I am very happy with Glen Oaks!

Of course it's taken some time for my Dad to adjust but the experience overall has been great. The staff are super nice and extremely helpful. I'm sure that with time it will get better for my Dad but we really love this place for him. In fact, I've already recommended that place and couldn't be more thankful to A Place For Mom for helping me find it!

I think they do an excellent job at Glen Oaks Alzheimers Care. The staff really went out of their way to help my loved one get settled in and comfortable, and they've done a great job taking care of him. I like that the whole community is focused on memory care, and he's not just in a specialized wing. They're definitely worth a look if you're searching for memory care options in the area!

We came across Glen Oaks through "A Place For Mom". Tara from Glen Oaks was the first person to call me after " A Place For Mom" sent out our information, and that was literally within the hour of getting off the phone with them. We scheduled a tour and were very pleasantly surprised at the flow of the facility. The fact that it specializes in Alzheimer's/Dimentia kind of sealed the deal for us. My Grandma was in a different facility at the time and just wasn't getting the care we'd hoped for. Neglect, filth and loneliness pretty much sums that previous place up. But Glen Oaks has been such a delightful change of pace and reassuring to say the least. There are always activities going on, the staff makes you feel very comfortable and let you know you're not alone in any of this. They also do monthly support groups which have helped my mom immensely and she's only gone to one so far! I definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is at a loss as to where they can take their loved one when Alzheimer's starts taking over. If you're like "where do u even start?" "A Place For Mom" is spectacular as well. Thank you Glen Oaks and all your staff. You have made us very confident in knowing Grandma is safe and being cared for when we can't be there!

Just moved father in law in and love everything about this place. It is like living at a resort.

My family had another place already picked out for my mom, however, I was going to check a few more places to confirm that our first pick was the best. After talking to my advisor, Gail, at Senior Advisor.com and explaining what we were looking for, she gave us the information about Independence Village. She had toured Independence Village and was very enthusiastic about it. We took a tour and were given choices of different rooms and signed up immediately that same day. My mother is very happy with her rooms and with the whole community. She is very glad we were there to help her and to pick such a beautiful place. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far our experience has been a very positive one! She is really enjoying herself here! All of the people are very nice, she's made a lot of new friends, and is enjoying all of the activities they offer. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and Mom really likes her apartment and balcony. The only negative thing I've heard from her is a complaint about the food every now and then.
