I am settling in here all the people and the staff are so friendly. The food is mediocre and you have alternate to choose from. It is very clean here. And they will clean my apartment every other week. They aim to satisfy me. They have a calendar of activities with at least 10 activities on any given day. They have various entertainment rooms and A nice courtyard area. We will go on dinner outings. I would recommend this community.

[Removed] was very gracious to spend all the time that I needed to look around and get a "feel" for the facility. I found the independent rooms to be spacious and very comfortable. I was very impressed with the assisted living section as you could not tell the difference between it and the independent area. Even the memory care area was bright and cheery. Looking at 5 other facilities in our area I can say that I could not find anything that I did not like.

I just began my search for a facility for my Uncle. Carmel Sr. Living was my 2nd visit of 3 facilities. [Removed]was AWESOME ! I didn't know what to really expect but I felt initially welcomed and then educated of the process again [Removed]was GREAT !!!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. If someone can’t answer my question, they will find someone who can. I am impressed with all the activities this facility has to offer (though unfortunately, my mom doesn’t participate). I’m also impressed with the cleanliness of Independence village!! Housekeeping, can you please empty my mom’s trash cans when you come to clean? Thank you!

This community is lovely!! The staff is so friendly and they all take impeccable care of their residents. Very warm and welcoming!!

Was beautiful and very nice and lovely.

It was a good move for our loved one and for us at The Hearth at Prestwick. It was becoming very difficult to provide the care she needed at home. We feel very good that they can provide the care that she needs. It is a clean and well-kept community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They are very welcoming to our family members when we come to visit. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my mom's care needs. The staff is easy to communicate any questions or concerns regarding our loved one's needs. We have eaten there with her and the meals are great. They offer the main meal and if you don't like what is served you can order off a menu for a different selection. Her room is very nice. We helped her decorate her room with her own furniture so that it looks very homey and helps her to be more comfortable. Outside they a nice courtyard in the back and chairs in the front for the residents to get some exercise or relax and enjoy the fresh air. I would recommend this community to others.

What a beautiful building. I work next door at meijer and have watched the building from the ground up. May be a place for my Grandma in the future.

Communication with caregivers has been a rewarding experience 95% of the time over the past year! I would give 4.5 star rating base on attitudes, personality and acceptance of information!

Great Supportive Staff. Modern decor and building that is great. Food Service is wonderful! Also they have GREAT activities/Outings for all residents!

Independence Village of Plymouth is an excellent place to consider when you are faced the decision of what to do with your aging parents . The staff is so very caring. They have many events and entertainment for the seniors. They love it. I understand the food is great. I can only hope that Independence Village is around in my "Golden Years"

My mother has lived in Independence Village Waterstone since May 2008. While over the past 9 years there were a few small hiccups, (such things are expected in large organizations), the overall service, care, professionalism and compassion exhibited to my mother by all members of the Independence Village staff have been exceptional. My mother in law also resided in the harbor side for a brief time. Her care takers were extraordinary. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Acceptance of Medicare/Medicard would be helpful to many, I’m sure.

The care at this community is good. The staff is caring and attentive. The community is clean and maintained. The variety of the menu needs to be changed for special needs for the residents. He is very happy with the activities. I like that my father is able to sing for the residents and that does make him very happy. I would recommend this community to other families for the care and the value of a loved one.

We toured this community for care for my mom. The community was bigger than what we wanted. I felt like it would be too big. The meals looking like they would be a good choice. We would recommend this community if wanting something on the large size. We liked seeing the community that we nicely took care of. Families should consider a tour in this community.

My mom is doing okay. We're happy with the community. Her care and treatment is good. She has made a number of friends. So far they are thumbs up. We had a few glitches but they have corrected them. It was more suited for my mom. They had exactly what we needed and they are very close to our home.

My loved one likes living at Parkside. The staff are helpful and friendly. They offer daily activities and she is starting to participate in some of them. She likes the food and the community is very clean. This community is in a good location for us and I would recommend it.

Overall we're very pleased with the facility and care at Dominion. We would, however, like to see the quality of food improve along with an effort to cook eggs to order for breakfast. Also, how hard would it be to offer ice cream as an alternative to the pre-arranged dessert? No other complaints what so ever.

Every staff member there seemed to enjoy working there and kind to residents. My mother required a lot of extra care and they never made us feel like a bother. The price was less expensive than other places that did not seem as nice or have as friendly staff. Everyone was kind and supportive. They have a good relationship with hospice; which unfortunately for us, we ended up needing but it was like a family and we truly appreciated everyone. The food is the only thing I would say was not as good.
