This is a perfect place for my mom.Plenty of activities,great food,great staff and wonderful nurses.I am happy I chose it for her.

This is an excellent community and they are caring for my father in law very well. He is reeving superior care and we are extremely satisfied. Everything about this community is amazing. The staff has really gone and above. The food is delicious, he really enjoys the meals. It has really been an outstanding experience. I would absolutely recommend this community.

Is is a very nice brand new facility. A wonderful philosophy of care and dignity for their clients.

I was very impressed with the physical appearance and services offered here. Everything is included in the monthly fees except newspapers and landline phone. I was a bit surprised that "independent living" units do not include a full kitchen, but this is not a "deal breaker" for me. They also have a "no weapons" policy which is not good. Otherwise, I was very favorably impressed. Their "travel program" which allows a resident to stay in any of their location, nationwide, at no cost, appears to be an interesting, unique feature.

I'am very happy with this community and everything they have done for us. The community looks great, but I do think they could dust and vacuum the general areas more. The staff is wonderful, mom gets along with the staff. They are always there if she needs some help. They offer good activities during the day. The food is excellent, my mother use to be a cook, so for her to love the food is a big plus. I know she is in good hands. So I would recommend.

This is a large (120 beds 3 floors ) and beautiful facility priced very fairly if you are relatively independent. Nice dinning room accommodating food choices that looked inviting. Many types of activities. This is a perfect place for a social highly functional Senior

This place is amazing its the furthest thing you can get from a home or assisted living place very high tech and the staff is amazing. Story Point should be available to everyone.

Dad moved in to the Manor last week. Our experience with the Manor at Steeplechase has been outstanding so far. We know that is in large part to the managers, Pam and David, and Barbara and Mike. Donni on the sales team has also made Dad feel welcome and at home. Meredith, who coordinates activities, has been so kind and encouraging. Dad has not had to use care services thus far. The meals are wonderful, and every time I visit Dad, the residents seem friendly and happy. This is just right for our family. Dad has his own place, but he's close enough to us for us to see him often. We've been very pleased so far.

I took my dad to see Pearl Crossing because he is nearing the time when he will need more assistance. He LOVED this place. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. They made us both feel right at home. The restaurant, excercise room, and community room were attractive and drew you right in. The whole place was clean and lovely. My dad is already telling people he is going to live there. I couldn't be happier that he is happy! <3 :)

This community has been very accommodating to our family. They are very helpful and attentive to my mother. She is trying some new activities and she loves the food. The community is clean for the most part, but we have had a few issues with some of her things coming up missing and the smell of her room. They are working on fixing those issues. She really loves the foods, she eats every bite of her meal. There are nice activities offered for the residents. Overall she has adjusted well to it and I would recommend it.

Mom loved the facility. The residents were very talkative and willing to share their experiences with Mom, which was really helpful. Mom is still not 100% sure this is for her (although as a family we agree it is time). She is "sitting on the fence". We loved Oxmoor Lodge's location, atmosphere and all of the wonderful activities that would be available. I will certainly be in touch if this is the facility we choose.

Leann and the staff were very helpful in the process. If and when the time would come to move to a retirement community I wouldn't hesitate to move to Beaverdale Estates.

The Hearth is always very clean and the team is extremely friendly! Great facility to work with and provide care for one's loved ones!

I made a preliminary visit here and will bring my folks to see it. It's attractive, clean and homey, and most importantly, the emphasis truly seems to be on the residents' well-being.

There are so many good things about the place. The all inclusive nature is really great, it was important to have 3 meals a day included. The social aspect is fantastic. He is making friends, and participating. He is very happy with the accommodations and the amenities. They have a very involved community and a lot of the residents volunteer in different ways, and they have been pretty welcoming and friendly. The most important thing to me is the staff there are just amazing, they are right there for anything that comes up, they have been so helpful. They communicate with us really well, and let us know what's going on and what to do. We have been really happy with it.

This is really a great community and everything is working out very well for my mother. The community is very clean and looks very nice. The staff has been very welcoming and kind to us. They are always there when we need some help. She loves the activities and enjoys the meals. Our experiences has been great and positive and I would recommend this community.

Nice facility and staff. No unpleasant surprises. Value is good when compared to neighboring facilities. Older facility but very well maintained. They appear to reinvest to keep it fresh.

My mom's Alzheimer's progressed to the point that my dad was shouldering too much in the way of household chores, meals, and caring for my mom. As I began to search, I feared the only option would be a semi-private room in a nursing home. I was delighted to find Aurora Pond! My parents have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath "cottage" with a washer and dryer and attached 1 stall garage. They walk across the drive to the main dining room for meals. They could have requested a unit in the main building, but my parents enjoy getting outside and taking a brief walk. It gets them out of their chairs and into the fresh air. Maybe down the road they'll prefer to move to the main building if this short walk becomes difficult for them. Housekeeping comes every Friday. They enjoy conversing with the friendly, caring housekeeper Angela. They've met both pairs of managers, who are on site 24 hours a day and already know them well. Their help is just a phone call away. The food is excellent - healthy, portions perfect for seniors, and always a number of alternatives to choose if they don't care for the main option. Daily travel is included M-F. There are shopping days, banking days, days to schedule residents' appointments, and then on Sundays they do a church route. The driver, Carl, is cheerful and humorous! Many activities are provided throughout the day. They can take part in exercises, card games, board games, puzzles, travelogues, story-telling/reminiscing, pedicures and manicures, etc. There's even a BYOB happy hour. Coffee, cookies, and fruit are available 24 hours a day. My mom is thriving with the new opportunities to socialize and participate in light-hearted activities! My dad is relieved of most of his workload - he still does their personal laundry, but appreciates the main floor w/d. Sheets and towels are changed weekly for them by Angela. I'm so glad we found Aurora Pond!
