I have attended events and visited with residents at Independence Village of Plymouth. The food and ambiance was consistently excellent. Also, the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I would be happy to live there myself some day!

It has been a wonderful experience for us here at this community. My mother is being cared for very well here, and I'am pleased with her move here. They have an excellent staff, they are taking good care of her and her needs. Everything here is beautiful, they do a very good job with the cleanliness. I know she is safe and being cared for well. I would highly recommend this community, it has worked out very well for us.

We love it here. I can not think of another place that me and my loved one would want to go. They offer a good area for my loved one to get around in the wheelchair. The community also offers great food. The activities are nice and they always offer them to me and my loved one. I would recommend them to my family.

I am very much happy with the community for my mom. All areas and mom's room is clean at all times. She loves the food they serve. Activities and outing are available and suitable. My mom has been participating in some. I would recommend this place and I feel they can always do more for the community.

The staff were friendly and willing to help. Mom says the food is a 5. She enjoyed her stay there. The community is clean and well maintained. They offer daily activities. I would recommend this community.

Great facility. Restraunt quality dining, friendly staff & happy residents. Lots of activities & room to roam. Lovely lake trail with Carrollton senior services across the lake. Only cons would be no community garden& no transportation to the VA.

My mom is doing well here. The staff are good people and they do a wonderful job. Her meals are a good and enough for her. There are no problems with the cleanliness and I have no complaints. I have recommended this community to others and we all enjoy the community.

We liked the tour of the community. It was a nice and clean facility. We saw good interaction with the staff and residents. Overall it was very nice and beautiful but not the match we needed.

Independence Village Plymouth was a true blessing for my Mom Carolyn and our family. Due to life event, my mom was unable to continue to live on her own. IVP came as a recommendation from another family member and we are thrilled with the quality of life it have created for everyone involved. My mom is in a safe and beneficial environment where her needs are met on a daily basis. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the level of care and attention that each resident requires. My mom had challenges with remembering to take her medications at the required intervals - and the staff now manages that portion of her care with their expertise. The leasing agent (Matt) who we had worked with was a Godsend for creating the perfect solution so that everyone involved (myself, my family and certainly Carolyn) was well taken care of. My wife Cheryl and I could not be happier with the choice we made to have my mom's new address be at Independence Village.

Mom is thriving in her new home. Everyone on the staff is excellent with servants' hearts. This is just what she needed - lots of caring people and activities.

My loved one is doing well since the move to Spring Meadows Libertyville. She is enjoying the variety of great meal options available. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to participate in and enjoy. Some of the staff are wonderful and helpful. I would like to see the rest of the staff be more consistent with following through with what they say they will do.

The staff at The Hearth has been amazing. Without exception, every single staff person has been so kind, patient, understanding and amazing. If you looked up the word "patience" in the dictionary, you could put ANY staff person's face there next to the word and it would be the honest truth. The nursing staff, the dining staff, the housekeeping staff, the administrative staff - all wonderful. I would send my family member to The Hearth again without any reservations whatsoever.

We have really been impressed with the staff in this community. They have gone above and beyond in doing anything and everything to help Mom to integrate into her new community. We are extremely pleased with the decision we have helped her make in choosing this community.

The staff that offered the tour of The Village at Legacy Pointe were very friendly. I was very impressed with the community and the courteous staff. The community is kept nicely cleaned throughout. This community offers a number of activities and amenities. The Village was second on our list!

Great place for an elderly person to live worry free and just enjoy life with new friends.

This seems like a nice place.

One of the reasons why we chose this community was their approach. They asked what my mom was looking for and what they could do to help her. I really liked how friendly and attentive they were. My mother is really happy with the community meals. They offer a wide variety of activities. It's always well maintained and organized including the rooms.

Everything is great with Governor's Village and Governor's Port. I have had the pleasure of working very closely with the marketing team and everyone has been extremely professional and accommodating.

I have had two beloved family members at GV, the second having been placed there as a result of the thoughtful, sincere care received by the first. It is impossible to distinguish between the administrative staff and caregiving staff because all are truly caregivers. Respect and appropriate care for the resident is paramount in all decisions. The GV staff takes a creative approach to staffing the care needs of the residents, and constantly looks for new and interesting programs to stimulate the residents. One thing that particularly impresses me is the effort made to help the residents continue to grow and learn. Living at GV is not a passive experience for the residents. As a family member, I never felt excluded from the caregiving process. Engagement of family or friends needed to support a resident's care is part of the program. The family events are so much fun. I would recommend Governor's Village to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care.

We liked this place. It was small and new. They were friendly. Would like to take Dad back for a visit. Close to my home. Everyone else we toured with called me for a followup. I was disappointed that Danbury did not. I did email for a visit with Dad. I hope to hear from them soon.
