Arriving at Story Point, you are greeted by large containers of flowering plants. The apartments are spacious with large windows to bring in sunlight. Efficiency kitchen and laundry are perfect. Meals are served in a spacious dining room. Soup, 2 hot entrees and sandwiches are offered each meal. The activities appeal to a wide variety of interest. The staff is courteous and friendly. It is a wonderful place to live.

I give 5 stars for Positive Climate, Commitment and Continuous Improvement, Management team, Management of Covid, the medical team, Housecleaning, Activities and Recreation and I give 3 starts for Culinary.

I have lived here for over 4 years. The staff and the residents are the best. The activities are exciting to look forward to. i am happy and grateful to reside in this community.

I have lived here since [date removed] I had a fall on Thanksgiving, 2013. My arm was broken and the elbow did not heal well. The staff has been great to help me.

This place is great.

The people who are your caregivers are trained and awesome. They are friendly. I have met the greatest of people here. Director [name removed] makes her self available. She is always at activities. Activities women are super. I have had some of the best aides and nurses. They treat you like part of family. I hope to see you all soon.

I highly recommend StoryPoint. We were so pleased with the care of my friend [name removed]. Everyone was so caring and loving to her.

Open and Interesting.

We chose Gaslight Village because the location was closer to me. They are like a family here, the residents tend to congregate in the common areas and have a sense of community. All of the staff members seem to be really knowledgeable and are comfortable with the residents and really enjoy their jobs, I have been thrilled with the facility and would absolutely recommend. I would tell others it is not as fancy as some other places, it is nice but they do not spend all of their money on the looks of the facility. It just matters how they treat their residents.

I perform my magic and mind reading act for over 100 retirement communities a year and I must say Independence Village of Carmel is one of the very best. Each year I always try to get at least two shows with them. I would do more shows with them if I could! They are a beautiful community with a fantastic staff and super friendly residents. Each time I enter the community I am always welcomed with friendly smiles from the receptionist, office workers, and residents. The staff always has my performance area ready to go and always meet my specifications to have a perfect show. I would recommend this community to anybody looking for a luxurious living experience. I look forward to returning very soon!

I would recommend you check the community out for your loved one. The staff really make the community and are fantastic to work with. If there is an issue the staff quickly fix the problem. The food is good for my loved one.

I toured Pearl Crossing with a family member looking for a new home. I was very impressed with the staff, the food, and the overall appearance of the facility. The family member is now living there and, I hear nothing but positive comments. This facility rates very well against other similar facilities that I am very familiar with.that other family members have, and are living in.

I have toured most of the communities in the area and none have the feel of Aurora Pond. They are fully staffed and the staff clearly enjoy their jobs! From the minute I walked in the door, I felt a sense of community. The staff and residents care about each other. Lunch was good with 4 choices, rolls and salads. Several residents introduced themselves at lunch. Care was available on-site, too. Overall, a fun tour and nice experience.

They have an outstanding facility. They were just bought out though, which has led to a little bit of unrest. Some of the staff have quit, but the majority are still there. And the people who are there are really good. They're just short-staffed. They had an awesome chef at first, but she has since left. The new guy works all 3 meals and is a very hard worker, but the food has gone down in quality. Right now in the dining room, they have just one person who is the runner and serves everybody. The managers have volunteered their time to help and fill in the gaps though, which I think is very commendable on their part. And I know they're doing all they can to hire more people. They're just facing a common challenge in the current economic situation. But it looks like the residents are having lots of fun participating in cards and activities. And the apartments are outstanding. They're very nice, with granite countertops. They're a good size as well, about twice as big as the apartments that my loved one came from.

Very nice. The nurse are great, very accommodating.

The people and food are very good. I really enjoy the bingo games.

I love it here. Great food.
