I toured 7 or 8 different locations, and without a doubt the feel walking in here was different than anyplace I walked into. The amount of life, the staff, the interaction it was all great. I have been in sales my whole life and you can tell very quickly about what type of culture or concern they might have and Storypioint was by far the best. It has proven to be so in the 7 months she has been here. We have been very pleased with the care and management. I would highly recommend the facility to others and already have. For where my mom is mentally and physically, it has been the best fit.

The staff has been great and they've treated both of my parents like family. They could improve on communication with other family members; there was a change in my loved ones condition and they never called to notify me about it. One thing I did not like about Springvale is as a visitor, I know they're busy with visitors during the day time, but I work. So, I visit in the evenings and sometimes I have to ring the doorbell 6-8 times to get someone to let me in and it's kind of annoying. I'm wondering why they can't give a couple family members a code for the keypad or a fob. I shouldn't have to stand out there for 10 minutes. Getting out in the evenings is just as hard, as you have to be let out of the building - that's the only thing I didn't like. Overall we've been very happy with this place.

We were very pleased with our experience at Dominion Senior Living of Louisville. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean and they went pout of their way to keep my loved one as long as they could because he needed skilled care too. For the price it was definitely worth it - it was the cheapest out of all 3 places that he had been in and the care was really good. They seemed to do a lot of activities with the residents in memory care. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

I think a lot of people are not aware that they do have hospice there. It is an outside company but they do have hospice rooms. They come right over and help right away. The staff is very considerate, very compassionate with all levels of care in house. Memory care, hospice, assisted living and more. Many activities available with popcorn and movies, they include you every single way they can. It I believe starts at the top and the Director is so very well organized and cares it flows through the entire team and really shows.

Overall great experience at Valparaiso Senior Village. Staff is very friendly, and community is very clean! Would recommend to community!

We chose StoryPoint Portage because it seemed to be more of an active community compared to others we looked into. They also had a section that is between independent living and assisted living called enhanced living and that was perfect for what we needed. The apartment sizes are really good. Overall it has been a great experience and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

I'm the senior center coordinator at the Duneland Family YMCA. Some of the participants of our Y group go to Valparaiso Senior Village for a monthly lunch and play our Domino (Mexican Train) game along with some of the residents there. The staff is welcoming and enthusiastic! We feel very comfortable and are so glad we can enjoy time there. The meals served are very delicious and good. This place is a blessing to our community and offers a nurturing environment to our group! We look forward to every visit. I can't say enough about the awesome treatment.

I am happy and content with my home. Every day is a pleasure.

The staff takes careful care to make us comfortable and provide entertainment. Our families are included with our care.

I have lived here for about 1 1/2 years and I have absolutely no complaints!! I plan to spend the rest of my life here (as long as I have $ enough!). All staff is very friendly and capable from executive director to the teenage servers! Food is delicious and varied. Pets are welcome. Lots of outings each week.

It is the best senior living facility in our area. The people are amazing and very special. We feel so comfortable knowing they are in good hands. Love it

I recently visited Storypoint Middletown in Louisville, Kentucky to find a senior living home for my father, and we absolutely loved our experience! A wonderful lady named [name removed] toured my father and I around the building and it was an incredible sight to see! From the café, to the library and art room, the facility was kept clean, neat, and tidy! [name removed], our tour guide, introduced us to some of the staff and they were delightful! They were so kind and inviting! Also, the apartments were marvelous! So much space and storage. If you're anything like my Dad, and like to keep everything and anything, well good thing this facility has the space! So convenient and fitting. We loved everything about the building, inside and out!

Our cousin is getting excellent care and overall is very safe and secure. Has been a great experience and staff and everyone there has been fantastic.

The crew that you have a Storypoint are just incredible! All the concerna and loving care for my parents has meant so much to the entire family - throughout this past year, just not the last month or so while my dad has been sick. Thank you form the bottom of my heart!

After I was released from the hopstial in 2021 my daughter introduced me to this elder care facility. StoryPoint is a very clean up to date facility that has provided me the opportunity to live my last years in a community of elderly folks with similar situations that provide ALL of my daily activities, as well as personal and medical needs.

My mother spent the last 6.5 years of her life at IV-White Lake. Through all the ups and downs of her dementia (including during the pandemic) the staff were patient and kind with her. I could not have cared for my mom without them. To quote her, she was truly "in the right place". Even on her worst days she knew her "people" were taking care of her. There are not enough words or gestures to thank everyone who touched our lives.

I toured Glen Abbey and it was our second choice. The rooms were large and they give a lot of personal care to their patients. I think that they are trying to stay on the smaller side, and that made me happy. I liked that they didn't have so many patients because I thought they'd have more personalized care. We did put a deposit down; we thought it was a choice that we could live with, but it was not the perfect choice. They were very kind and accommodating. They said they'd hold a room for 30 days and they really wanted to make it work if we chose them. They weren't unkind when we called to let them know that we were able to get in somewhere else. The community is very nice. All upfront when you walk in, the patients eat right in the room with all the natural sunlight, it looks like a little café. They also have small memory care unit attached. Again, they were very kind and the place looked very good. However, I think they wanted to send my mom to memory care right away and I didn't think she was ready for that. We chose another community because our number one choice worked out.
