The most important need we had was for somebody to take care of dad's dog. Many facilities will allow pets , but you have to take care of them yourself. Dad was 101 and not able to walk the dog anymore. The aids bent over backwards to take care of dog not just putting them out but actually walking the dog. My father was treated with respect and compassion. The only negative was the bill at the end was not prorated. Paid for a full month when it was only a few days occupied.

It seems like our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining services and when it comes to the activities there is always something going on keeping the residents busy. The value is really working out well for our family it is allowing us to stretch out the budget for if or when our loved one will need more care. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend this community to others.

Everlan of Johnson City is a wonderful place. The moment you walk in, you feel a sense of relief. It is a fairly new building that is only about 2 years old. They bent over backwards to help us get my sister in law in here. She just LOVES it. She said she feels like she is on a permanent cruise ship. The food is great and staff have been so helpful. There are tons of activities and clubs available for residents and transportation as well. The views are beautiful too. They don't have many studios available but we are on the waiting list for the next one that is open. If I was looking for a place for myself, this is where I would go. We are very happy with our choice and would highly recommend Everlan of Johnson City (but they are completely full at the moment).

Beautiful grounds, inside and out. Friendly people make you feel like a family member. Lots to do if you want but staff leaves it up to you. Encouraged to get together but not pushed. Food is good with several choices. Great place to be for fun, friends, and family.

StoryPoint is an amazing independent and assisted living facility. The staff is very attentive, responsive and kind. They provide so many activities and programs to keep the residents engaged. The food is excellent. The staff give my parents personalized attention and assistance when needed. {name removed} the Executive Director is on top of things. She is very helpful and involved. The facility is absolutely beautiful!

My mother lived in Independent Living for 8-9 years. We found her years here to be full and satisfying. All staff are warm and welcoming, and their enthusiasm for life spills over to the residents. Mother was independent but still there is a watchfulness here that is comforting. She especially enjoyed the flower gardens. Also, our needs as a family were also met any time we had questions.

We have been blessed to have had the support and loving care of the entire StoryPoint team. You not only take such beautiful care of our parents, but also us. We are forever grateful.

We've actually recommended Independence Village to a couple friends who decided to move their step mom there. Overall good experience, definitely well pleased.

Staff are great and friendly! A lot of activities to choose from. A great value if residents participate. Transportation program is great. I would say a great place for an individual able to mainly care for self. They do offer some help but not a nursing home.

I toured StoryPoint Collierville; there were little things that made us choose another community. In regards to amenities, there was no washer and dryer in the room. It was more like a dorm room situation as there was a community washroom. There was no ice maker in the fridge and there was a lack of security because there was no indoor courtyard. We also chose another community because there was no availability for a room on the main level.

Danbury Brunswick really cared about my father, however, they like so many other places, were experiencing staffing shortages. We had to fight for him to maintain his agreed-upon level of care because the new staff & outsourced staff were unaware of what the agreed-upon level of care was. Executive Director [name removed], did a wonderful job navigating the staffing challenges and staying in touch with us. My dad passed away [date removed]. He was 100 years old. Would recommend Danbury Brunswick as a modern & attractive senior living facility where our dad received attention & respect from the staff

I toured 7 or 8 different locations, and without a doubt the feel walking in here was different than anyplace I walked into. The amount of life, the staff, the interaction it was all great. I have been in sales my whole life and you can tell very quickly about what type of culture or concern they might have and Storypioint was by far the best. It has proven to be so in the 7 months she has been here. We have been very pleased with the care and management. I would highly recommend the facility to others and already have. For where my mom is mentally and physically, it has been the best fit.

The staff has been great and they've treated both of my parents like family. They could improve on communication with other family members; there was a change in my loved ones condition and they never called to notify me about it. One thing I did not like about Springvale is as a visitor, I know they're busy with visitors during the day time, but I work. So, I visit in the evenings and sometimes I have to ring the doorbell 6-8 times to get someone to let me in and it's kind of annoying. I'm wondering why they can't give a couple family members a code for the keypad or a fob. I shouldn't have to stand out there for 10 minutes. Getting out in the evenings is just as hard, as you have to be let out of the building - that's the only thing I didn't like. Overall we've been very happy with this place.

We were very pleased with our experience at Dominion Senior Living of Louisville. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean and they went pout of their way to keep my loved one as long as they could because he needed skilled care too. For the price it was definitely worth it - it was the cheapest out of all 3 places that he had been in and the care was really good. They seemed to do a lot of activities with the residents in memory care. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

I think a lot of people are not aware that they do have hospice there. It is an outside company but they do have hospice rooms. They come right over and help right away. The staff is very considerate, very compassionate with all levels of care in house. Memory care, hospice, assisted living and more. Many activities available with popcorn and movies, they include you every single way they can. It I believe starts at the top and the Director is so very well organized and cares it flows through the entire team and really shows.

Overall great experience at Valparaiso Senior Village. Staff is very friendly, and community is very clean! Would recommend to community!

We chose StoryPoint Portage because it seemed to be more of an active community compared to others we looked into. They also had a section that is between independent living and assisted living called enhanced living and that was perfect for what we needed. The apartment sizes are really good. Overall it has been a great experience and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

I'm the senior center coordinator at the Duneland Family YMCA. Some of the participants of our Y group go to Valparaiso Senior Village for a monthly lunch and play our Domino (Mexican Train) game along with some of the residents there. The staff is welcoming and enthusiastic! We feel very comfortable and are so glad we can enjoy time there. The meals served are very delicious and good. This place is a blessing to our community and offers a nurturing environment to our group! We look forward to every visit. I can't say enough about the awesome treatment.

I am happy and content with my home. Every day is a pleasure.
