A fine place for retirement. A great place, it is not like home but it's better than anything else.

My mom has been a resident at Storypoint Macomb for almost a year. She has always been well cared for in terms of her physical needs and in terms of socialization (Bingo, music etc). Everyone has been kind and supportive of our family as well.

We couldn’t be more impressed with this community. From the moment we toured, it was clear that this is a warm, welcoming and thoughtfully run environment. The facilities are superb - beautifully maintained, comfortable, and staffed by people who genuinely care about the residents. [name Removed] was a major part of what made this experience so positive for myself and my siblings. Her compassion, patience, and deep knowledge guided us every step of the way. She took the time to understand our concerns and ensured we felt confident in our decision. Working with [ name Removed] during what could have been an overwhelming and emotional process was truly a gift! I highly recommend this community to anyone navigating the memory care or assisted living journey.

As a resident, I can honestly say this place truly feels like home. The staff are kins, patient and always willing to help and really go out of their way to make everyone feel comfy and cared for environment is clean. Welcoming and full of friendly faces. Always engaging activities with also plenty of quiet times, poerfect balance for seniors.

I love it so far. I have everything I need here. I get a noon meal and the food is pretty good. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I've met a lot of nice people. I'm not sorry I made the move.

The building is very clean and overall is well kept thanks to our amazing house keeping staff. We have good activities and everybody here is very social. Staff is all nice and overall I am very happy here.

I’ve only been here a month so I’m still adjusting but so far it’s nice. People seem friendly but I kind of like to keep to myself and like things quiet. I appreciate the staff is kind but not too pushy.

Everybody here is so friendly, all the staff are so nice. There is always something the do. Everything here is so fun and enriching. I’m never bored and am so happy I decided to move in here. I just wish we had more chicken wings!

The food, the staff, and how well I am treated are just a few reasons why I tell all of my friends + family this is the best place in Lapeer.

I love the sunroom and all the amenities in memory care. We have windows in both of our rooms that overlook woods and wildlife. The staff is very kind and lets us keep our independence.

The Staff members make it feel like family. I look forward to great meals, activities, care and friendliness every day I wake up.

[name removed] plans some really neat activities. I enjoy Bingo, Happy Hour, Cooking and Baking classes. I have gone to some really nice restaurants and museums on our Thursday outings.

Both of my parents have been residents at Danbury Woods, and the care and compassion they have received has been extraordinary. The staff feels like family and they go above and beyond to make us all feel cared for, heard, and part of the team.

I briefly toured this community in search for a place to put down roots for Mom. Not only was the place inviting, the staff were pleasant to deal with, and residents friendly. Appreciated the kindness, friendliness of staff willingness to assist with all questions.

Storypoint is amazing. My mother-in-law has lived there for several years, and I can't say enough good things about the staff. Highly recommended.
