What we really like about the Independence Village is that they are extremely diligent about my mother's gluten free diet. The food there is great. There are also many different activities that our loved one likes to participate in. The residents are just as friendly and inclusive as the staff members are. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

StoryPoint is one of the few facilities that has the versatility to give extra care and services when needed for independent living residents. Individual needs are examined at the time of entry and a plan of care is developed on an individual basis. This program called enhanced living offers several services that are usually provided through a certified assisted living certification but are somewhat more limited. For those that don't need the full care of an assisted living program, the services and cost of enhanced living can be advantageous. Our experience with StoryPoint has exceeded our expectations. The facility is modern and attractive having been open for only 2 years. The facility is very popular and the occupancy rate is very high. Fortunately waits can be minimized with the guidance of the StoryPoint staff. So waits for a particular type of apartment can be minimized. The social interaction with other residents is very high and results in many new friendships.

Danbury has been very good. It is clean. Employees are nice and helpful. Mom is happy! Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Danbury in Hudson to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

Everlan of Louisville has been great across the board. We couldn't be more pleased. [name removed] set the tone from the start. She is fantastic and really connected with Mom. The entire staff quickly learned Mom's name, likes, dislikes and are always pleasant. Even when Mom is not so much fun to be around. The facility is only a few years old and is kept in immaculate shape. They have everything anyone could want, and it is up to the residents to do as much or little as they please. But the staff does encourage residents to be involved in activities. Mom's mental health has improved dramatically since moving there, and the staff and other residents are a major reason. [name removed] is the manager, and he is always responsive to my requests. He makes me feel that he is really there watching out for Mom. [name removed] and [name removed] are a couple of Mom's favorite staff members. They treat her so nicely and respectfully. The only thing I've heard Mom say that she doesn't like is the road noise. Her room is on the side by the merge ramp to the expressway, and she hears the road noise at night. So try to get an apartment on the other side if available.

My aunt lives here, she receives exceptional care, they have fun activities, and great food! The place is always clean with a welcoming atmosphere. The Executive Director and Wellness leader are always participating in activities with the residents. They seem to really care about their staff. I am happy to have my family here.

Overall, the staff have been very accommodating and gone out of their way to ensure mom's safety and needs are being met. They interact with her and treat her as a person. Mom is an artist and when one of the kitchen staff saw one of mom's pieces hanging in her room, he made a point to stop by at dinner and share his love for watercolors and art in general. It made moms day. They have really partnered with me and my sister to ensure that mom has everything that she needs. They have always gone above and beyond to assist us and the care for our mom. This really is a "cruise ship on land". The life enrichment team is creative and come up with unique activities to keep the residents engaged and active. Their culinary team provide cooking demos, for those with a passion for cooking. There are plenty of rooms that family can gather for parties and activities at no additional cost. They really have thought of everything!

We toured Riley's Grove for Memory Care needs and we were very impressed. Everything was great, including the cleanliness and friendliness. However, it was more expensive than some of the other facilities in the area.

I have visited the facility many times for events with the kids and it is always fun and the staff is very welcoming. We have been there for Easter egg hunts, trick-or-treating, Christmas events, car shows, etc. Every time the staff and residents are joyful and engaged.

What we really like at StoryPoint is that everyone there is happy to be there. The residents and employees are so friendly. The place overall was hands down the best choice. It's so very apparent that all the employees really genuinely care about the well being of all the residents and it shows. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Our experience with StoryPoint Fairfield has been very good. The staff here get to know you more than many. We're in a two bedroom apartment and have found it adequate. We came from a large patio home. Our apartment has a balcony. We use it a lot, and are thankful for it. We get to get out and get some fresh air. The food could be better and more varied. But my wife doesn't have to cook anymore which is great.

It’s a quality facility with incredibly caring staff. You can always find a staff member when you’re in need. Staff is always willing to divert their paths to assist any resident. All around a loving family between the staff and residents!

I toured StoryPoint Chesterton and it was a great facility! The atmosphere of the place was nice. The cleanliness and friendliness were great, also. However, the facility was too expensive.

I absolutely adore the kindness of the managers and staff at Cascade Trails. Their warm greetings and genuine concern never fail to make me feel welcomed. I have never met a resident that isn't smiling or happy!

I toured this facility and I LOVED it! When I arrived, there was a sign that said "Welcome Family of [name removed]. A nice personal touch! The receptionist even sat with me and discussed how difficult the decision must be. I had a hard time not choosing them, but took into consideration the rest of the family and the convenience of visiting. I'm serious when I say I LOVED this facility!

We toured Crestwood Village and it was a very nice facility! Everything was great. However, we ended up choosing a different facility because we were looking for a facility that had nurses on staff.

They are friendly, helpful staff. If anything needs fixing in the apartment, it gets looked at right pretty quick. Most of the residents are friendly and are happy there. It's a nice location. I would recommend to other families.

StoryPoint is a wonderful place. Everyone, Staff and residents are the best. I'm just really happy that [name removed] is here. Everything about it is wonderful. They are absolutely, taking good care of my loved one.

[name removed] invited me to have lunch with her one Tuesday. It was a very good noon meal with pleasant people and surroundings. She then showed me some of the places where they have special activities. We also toured a few of the residents apartments which was very interesting, especially since I knew some of the residents. [name removed] was a very gracious hostess and she explained things well. I understand why I hear so many good comments about her and about Independence Village. Thanks for inviting me.

They kept the community up nice, and the staff is nice but most of the residents seem to stay in there rooms. Story Point did not have anyone evaluate my loved one.
