Short staff and thus scheduled/posted activities do not always happen. Poor communication to family regarding major changes of loved one. Entrance to memory care is difficult. Meals are good but usually served late. Care staff not always observant in changes in residents (emotional status, personal hygiene, behavior changes).

We had an extremely big studio for both of us with a hospital bed, twin bed and lazy boy chair for a reasonable price ($[removed] for me as an independent added on) The dining room was well run with easy access to the garden . Medication delivery was well managed but like so many places response time after using the pendent was poor. Location is practical with Safeway and Fred Meyer near however the building is on a hill which makes walking outside difficult.

The care is good, the room is kept clean. The food however, is just awful. They need better cooking and more choices, also need better quality ingredients.

I guess the biggest thing was the pet issue. [community removed] let's her have her dog and does not charge extra for pets. It was also more in her price range. The facility seemed nice but [community removed] just seemed warmer and friendlier.

The facility was fine. The residents seemed happy. [Name Removed] just seemed friendlier, the prices were better and my mom could have her dog which was extremely important. They don't charge extra for her pet, very important to her

They are good at taking care of people that are high functioning memory care patients. In other words, if they can mostly take care of themselves. However, if the resident has advanced Alzheimer's disease, their care is not so great.

We don't have another facility to compare to - it is fair overall. The dining is nice clean and the food has been good. Have noticed that they do run out of some choices. The room size is adequate and clean. Staff and therapists have been absolutely great.

This facility is just slightly above the care you would receive in a senior independent living situation. We kept being told that my mother refused to take a shower because she was afraid of falling, but there was not an alternative wheel-in shower. We weren't told when she wasn't eating-we discovered that with bloodwork she had done. They did have an NP check on them weekly and PT worked with her in her room (at an extra cost). So, if you're looking for real assistance, this is not the place. If you're looking for elevated senior care, this is in a good, safe neighborhood with a friendly staff and lots of activities.

We enjoyed the forum. Specially the lake view. We did not like the food. Some days were ok but mostly not tasty or low quality. Overall we liked it.

The staff are great. Food is fine-my mom likes it. Apartments are larger than other places we looked. The nurse and office personnel have been hard to communicate with. I can't get answers to questions. Especially about prices and billing. Her laundry keeps getting lost.

They hire unqualified help that don't care and not enough hires at that. The ones that do care end up with all the work. My mother was in memory care. With the money being charged for that, It's time the marketplace upgrades that type of care all the way around. They had an almost complete turnover of staff while my mother was there 5 months.

The staff was great when we got there. Then they hired a new executive manager and she got rid of so many staff members that were great. For budget cuts whatever. The food was better with the first cook when we got there. So many things changed that's why we left .

The room size is satisfactory, I had a one bedroom. The staff was friendly. Personally, I liked [community removed] better, but I would recommend the Forum

Communication was difficult between different departments. Memory care was different than the assisted living as far as participating in extra activities.

Though it's not perfect, it's by far the best place I've seen. The residents and staff are wonderful and it's a rich, caring environment.

In the [time frame removed] that my mother has been a resident there was a permanent director for only 2 months. An interim director in place for 10 months. Felt much like a rudderless ship ..still no permanent director. Lots of staff turnover in one year and many residents have moved away because of unhappiness with many aspects of the community. Food is very institutional with too many carbohydrates. As my mother's POA the requests I've made for her food are not consistently followed. Medical staff is not aware of local resources for mobile lab work and not able to direct out of states toward local medical resources. The orientation did not cover much of the rules and procedures of the community. It was up to me to "discover" much about the workings of the community.

Willow Court. Overall. 3. She was in assisted living. They had a number system. Higher number more care and greater cost. Never could tell what she was getting for the money. For profit company and they charged for everything. 2. Cleanliness. 3. Cleaned her room once a week. Not enough. We would clean at least once a week ourselves. Overall. Place was pretty clean. 3. Friendliness. 4. Quality of care. 3. 5. Administrative staff. 3. Mostly ok. Depended on who you dealt with. 6. Food. 5. Really good over all. 7. Activities. NA. My Aunt was not interested. 8. Value. Initial value was good. But they charged for everything. Laundry. Meals for family very high. She needed more care so the price became much higher.

They are badly understaffed and quality service not great. At times its adequate, at other times its poor. The food is not that good. The food can be on the cooked or uncooked side, they don't have enough servers so the food comes to the table cold and that makes it unappitizing. They recently had a Norovirus outbreak and did not tell the families by text for 3 days.

Residents are very friendly as are the majority of the staff. They are often out of menu items. The dining room is often overcrowded. Pets( both dogs and cats) are also very welcome by both staff and residents.

The place looks beautiful and welcoming. The other residents were friendly. It was more "independent living" than assisted living. Unfortunately my mom was left alone in her room for long periods and wasn't checked on frequently. My mom needed more assistance, so she transferred to memory care which has been a better fit. I wish San Martin was more proactive in getting residents to socialize around meal times. Many residents sit alone. I didn't see staff being very social with the residents, or even each other. There was as a lack of community in the building.
