Facility is older. Built in the late 40s as officer housing. Rooms are updated with a small kitchen. Only real negative are the bathrooms. Tub that is partially walk in. Hard for older folk. Facility is clean. Staff is friendly. Mostly accessible. Had a poor experience at the beginning with some amenities that were not quite true. For example the rep we had promised to but all new furniture so we would not have to move furniture from out of state. The problem was that the ordered furniture was the cheapest possible from Amazon. I refused it and to their credit they gave us a credit for [fee removed] But it was disappointing. Other small things promised but not kept like family meals with the resident would be[fee removed]. Turned out to be [fee removed]. Some things like that. Care was pretty good. Assisted living had multiple levels each with a larger price tag. It was hard to tell what level was what and everything had a price according to how much staff time was involved. So you had to negotiate every action. My Aunt was not interested in activities. Value depended on whether you were in Assisted Living or not. If not I would say it was a very good deal for the money. If so it depended on level of care. See above comments.

We absolutely love everyone except the Medical Director. We have had a lot of issues with her incompetence. If my in-laws did not love it so much--I'd pull them. The medical director is horrible and if you loved one has care needs then you need to be on top of them. There is really poor communication and timely & correct answers. Activities are good but would like to see more options for church or bible studies, and care giver support groups.

I like that most would be room size is larger than other places. They tend to be understaffed (sometimes severely) as far as caregivers are concerned, & many of them aren't as good as they should be. The food also leaves a lot to be desired, & there's has been a high rate of turnover for chef.

Everyone is always smiling and friendly. There are lots of things that need to improve such as the food, activities, etc, however raising the rent to senior citizens that's already living on a fixed income, really needs to be looked at and considered.

They took great care of her while she was alive and called Hospice to help take care of her but the administrative aspect regarding billing and follow up after she passed was poor. She was only there for 2 months before she passed.

My mom passed away one month after being in the Copper Creek memory care. The facility was clean and new, beautifully decorated with bright colors. However; her care was less impressive. She fell 7 times in the first 2 weeks of being there. The staff found her difficult and as a result she was left alone too often in her room. No one could ever really give me any clear answers regarding her daily care or status. The aids were sub-par and often unprofessional. I would often get answers such as, “yeah I’m not sure” or “I really don't know”. My brother, sister and I were there at least 3 times a week and each time we all felt she wasn’t receiving adequate care and often seemed over medicated, so much so that she could not eat. We were new to this process but felt like they way over promised and UNDER delivered. It was so very sad to see what happened in just four short weeks. We paid over [removed]to put her through 4 weeks of HELL!

The initial onboarding was great. Once in the facility, the communication with the primary caregiver is terrible especially as it relates to medical services.

The housekeeping was iffy. The move in process was okay except that some details were not disclosed. The help was not adequate for my sister and she had to wait often to be helped when she needed it. The daily help should have recognized that my sister was in need of medical help and notified the nurse on staff. As such, I would not recommend this facility.

Nurses don't always communicate with family. Especially in regard to pills which are given to my mother. Unnecessary vitamins, new meds, etc. Beyond that, it's been a reasonably decent living facility. This is her first time ever being in assisted living so I have nothing to compare it to.

My dad loves it, I don't. It's quite large and would not be good for someone with any memory issues. I would consider the food and amenities average. It is considerably less expensive than most facilities. The staff is lovely.

My mother-in-law was not able to stay there very long. It was a very long walk to the dining area and one day she fell and broke her ankle. As a result she had to be transferred to a full care facility and no longer walks on her own. Auberge is fine for anyone with full mobility. However, it turned out to be too much for my mother-in-law.

The friendliness at La Sonora at Dove Mountain is good. Extroverts and introverts can be in their respective zones, in the same room. The caregivers are okay, some of them are great but it is usually when they can get to you. There are so many in need at the same time. There is turnover at all levels with little to zero communication with those who foot the bill or work there. In about 18 months, there were 3 different Executive Directors and 4 or 5 different chefs. There are lots of activities, if you can find out about them. The whiteboards scattered about often do not list all outings. Some remain hidden in the signup book in the Bistro, lousy communication.

Not very consistent staff and horrible communication of different people who interstate With residents. The medical staff is better. They need to improve on the food quality. Quality. Seemed like Costco Boxed food instead of home cooking.

I think it is a respectable facility for the price , but would check in with your love one often with regular visits. One thing that really stood out with the Forum is capped medical service costs.

First of all, I am not [name removed]. I am her stepdad & the husband of her mother who is in SG Memory Care. This is a difficult survey for me due to the change of ownership of SG. It started out as a 5. Another of my stepdaughters helped me with the research. I at first loved the way that my wife & I were treated, .but then they fired 2 of the people [name removed] who made me think that my choice was a good one. Now the new management has changed my mind. They no longer have a check-in, most of the food is lukewarm by the time it gets to the memory care, some of which I did not like because the patients don't get what they serve in the dining room. There is no introductory folder & no personal cards for the managers, & they are having a hard time with resolving my wife's constipation which makes her very irritable, & the TV does not have closed captioning. I used to get (for her room) a big monthly calendar of events which is no longer possible. But now I am almost out of characters.

For the part I enjoy it here. The staff is wonderful and there are lots of activities, the food has improved but I wish there were more cultural actives and not just so many games. However there are a few problems. Since moving here in 2021, they have raised the rent three times. They never tell you ahead. This last time the rent was raised 8 percent. At this rate I will be priced out in just a few years and will have to find another home. Also, some problems that arise are not addressed in a timely matter. And it seems at times they are more interested in getting new residents in than being faithful to their long term residents and meeting their needs.

Mom is in memory care so may be different but I find that the care staff does not properly take care of her personal hygiene. It has been largely up to me to make sure she is showered. Provide a log of when she was showered, ate, activities etc. the family does not know how they are being treated and loved one can't tell them. Facility is kept up and the food is good.

Our loved one does keep busy with all the different activities that are offered and has made some new friends. I think it was a good decision to move our loved one to a senior living community because she was isolated before in an apartment complex. She is more sociable now and it has been an eye opening experience

this place is pretty good. The food is the worst! Even with the new chef it's horrible. Im having to buy groceries even with the food allowance being paid in my rent. There should be more outings. We are confined here day in and day out, just would like a drive around more often. The staff on a whole are great.

The various levels of care and the associated fees at The Gallery at Broomfield are extremely confusing. The management is a bit disjointed. They don't have answers to questions and are extremely slow to follow up, if at all. The staff on the floor, however, are awesome. Although the place is aesthetically beautiful, it missed the mark on functionality for the Senior community.
