The responsiveness of the LPN there is good and they seem to understand the process in which my mom is having to go through. I would absolutely recommend the forum. I'm grateful my moms in a place that I feel are experienced and really cares about her.

The staff are kind and friendly. They know every residents name and engage with each one in such a positive and uplifting manner. They remember their favorite foods and acknowledge milestones and special personal events in their lives. It feels like a family. Activities are fun and new and creative. The rooms are modern and cheerful and functional and the ideal size.

I would tell them it's a very nice facility with friendly and helpful staff. And compared to [community removed], where my Mom was before Granite Gate, it is a good value. It was more affordable, larger rooms with views and the food is a better quality and selections for each meal. I would recommend Granite Gate to others. So far, my Mom and I are happy with our choice. Of course nothing is perfect, but it is a big improvement over Willow Wind. They have been short staffed in the dining area and there are some hiccups from switching chefs but those are minor inconveniences.

Everything is very good just had a problem with my meds when went on an assisted living trip. Think we have it fixed now. Other than that everything is OK. Help is very good. Food is also good. I would definitely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

I am wondering if it also has assisted living as well as nursing care and would hence provide care without the need for a further move. Please let me know. I enjoyed the tour and the location. Thank you.

Nice grounds, quiet, and although an older facility, the rooms appear well-cared for and managed. They are on the whole smaller than the other places I've been touring. A big plus here is that the facility has been under the same management for decades and they claim to have low turnover of staff because of that. They do have assisted living on site, which is good for continuity should a transition into AL be necessary. Unfortunately, the rates are as high as other places that have more amenities (many of which I won't really need for several years) for similar pricing.

I had a very good experience. Rating is 5 stars. The Gardens were so professional and accommodating my brother is very happy with the food and people helping them. I would recommend them to anyone.

It is a great place, super care givers, very well managed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The caregivers encourage activities such as jigsaw puzzles, word games, coloring pictures. There is always someone to help the people who have difficulty eating. They have a very real concern for the people they help. Usually serve plate lunches with generous portions. Occasionally have hot dogs or chicken salad sandwiches which are very tasty. The room is about 350 square feet. Very spacious. I consider the facility a very good value for the money.

5 stars - because the management was great, the dining area and food quality high. The only disadvantage was that the building is on a slight hill so walking outside was not the best. The garden area outside the dining room was a nice small walk.

Staff has been very helpful and my mother seems to be adapting very nicely. Recently she went on a trip to Old Town and thoroughly enjoyed herself! The apartment is very spacious and clean! Based on my mother's experience thus far I would definitely recommend Sandia Vista.

I was very impressed with the living center and the area and person that helped me. Plus the price was in my budget, since I'm retired and its for my wife, and when the time comes and I have to put her there.

I toured the facility and the amenities like exercise, visiting areas, game area, and food them clean, neat and enticing. I had made it known this is the exploratory phase. I have a home, library and garden I still enjoy, but with an ever diminishing life span I need to explore and see a range of options learn what financing will be needed. I was favorably impressed. Cost will be an issue for me unless I win the lottery. If I need the next level of care which would increase the costs. The resident ambassadors were friendly and pleasant. Lunch was tasty and the packet and notebook were appreciated. [name removed] was welcoming and gave.me good information. Thank you for the tour.

My sister is in assisted living and is going to be moved to memory care next week. The staff has been very helpful in working with my sister. [name removed], my sister really likes her apartment and enjoys going to the dining room. The food is delicious. Her moving to memory care will be another adjustment for her. The staff is doing everything to make it as smooth as possible.

Very clean and well staffed. Recently renovated and updated. New and enlarged dining area. Nice one bedroom units. Lincoln Court also has independent living apartments, where fees only include meals and cleaning.

5 overall. So far, everything has been good. The room size is great, and the one-bedroom apartment works well for us.

After having lived at Courtyard by Jamestown for more than 2 months, I can honestly say I am impressed with the exceptional level of care I receive here. The abundant number of staff members are kind, considerate and make me feel they are happy to assist me in whatever way I may need. Chef [name removed] creates a wide variety of delicious meals which are a highlight of every day. Visiting in the dining room with the other residents or going to one of the wide array of daily activities makes getting to know the other residents easy and natural. My transition in moving from my home into assisted living has been smooth due to the quality of care I receive at Courtyard by Jamestwon.

All 5's except we have found the Business Manager to be the only weak link. We have been here 6 months and the majority of the monthly invoices or ach debits have contained errors. With that exception, we are very happy here. Activities are a 10!!! We love having front and back outside entrances--no walking down an hotel type hallway. Food is excellent. Every few months the culinary staff goes above and beyond with a themed dinner and live entertainment. Dining room is spacious with linen table clothes--but you don't have to "dress" for dinner. Nice, but not stuffy. We went on an overnight excursion with happy hour hosted by a resident who has a summer home in Munds Park. Followed by a night at the casino in Flagstaff and tour of canyon ruins and the arboretum in Flag. We go out to lunch or dinner at least once a month at nice restaurants. You can drive yourself or go on the bus provided by Pueblo Norte. Concerts and lectures are spectacular. Of course, the usual bingo, bridge, poker, left right center, bean bag baseball, bocce ball, library and theater. Exercise room on your own with treadmills and weights etc or chair exercise directed for less strenuous routines. Protestant, catholic and Jewish meetings weekly. We still drive so we go to our own church, but I hear good things about the chaplain. We have a 1,300 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for $[removed]k which includes weekly housekeeping, meals, entertainment, activities

Great place, great staff, it was simply unaffordable for my mom. I would highly recommend l to anyone looking that can afford it.

The staff clearly cares about the residents and even each other. The building is so safe, as well as beautifully decorated. The food is varied and as close to homemade as it could be. We chose the smallest apartment, but it fits my mom-in-law perfectly. I love the outings and activities for my mom-in-law, and we have chosen to use the visiting primary care team that comes to the senior living. Truly, couldn't be happier with the choice!

All was great! However I do not use their salon - they provide NO receipts which is bad for me as her POA and their payment system is a nightmare to navigate. I use an outside beautician for [name removed] for these reasons but [name removed] there does a good job. I was warned about the salon there by several people before we chose the Forum.
