Seems to be a very nice place meals are given and staff is friendly.

My mom moved in almost exactly a month ago and it was not an easy transition even though she chose where she wanted to go. With help from caregivers and other staff, she is slowly getting accustomed to her new life. I hope to be able to get her engaged in activities before long, but she is setting the pace. The staff is very kind and helpful, but some things are not done when promised and need to followed up on. The facility itself is very nice and well maintained for an older establishment.

Liked apts. but found common areas on the shabby side. Did not like buffet in dining room - prefer table service. Swimming pool great.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating when I visit. The problems expressed by my parents are likely and mainly associated with the fact that they are not in their own home eating and doing whatever they want. Some of the complaints I have heard is; there is not enough room in the apartment, the food is not good or not hot, they don't get waited on soon enough, the care givers do not respond quick enough when the button is pushed. The price is a factor, as it is with most senior care facilities, but if you need and want the care for your loved ones you must make it happen. This facility was able to help us when mom had to be hospitalized and dad needed someone to help him. Although he can do some things on his own, he was used to having my mom wait on him hand and foot. My brothers and I work and were unable to be with him 24 hours 7 days a week but made it work during the 7-10 days it took for the transition. We are much less concerned with the what-ifs knowing they are being well taken care of. Our mother enjoys the activities that are available but our father does not take part. This is an area they could improve on by introducing activities to involve more men, workshops with wood and other things that are more manly!

The staff at Atria at Lakewood are very attentive, taking a personal interest in the individual residents. The one current challenge is the lack of seating (without being elbow to elbow) in the dining room because of the upstairs dining room is closed. A "hostess" seating people would be very helpful! Overall, we are pleased with the facility and staff at Atria as mom makes her new transition.

It's okay. We were disappointed when we moved in because it wasn't cleaned. We are still finding things that need to be fixed, or cleaned, or dealt with in some way. I do like the lay out and the roominess of the room a lot, compared to what I have seen at other places. When we first came to see it, it reminded me of a big hotel. When it comes to meals, some things are really good, and I like stewed dishes once in a while. There isn't a lot of variety, but there are a lot of people here. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful. The other residents can be kind of cliquish, they have been friendly enough, but most of them have been here a while. We haven't really met anyone yet that is interested in a good conversation, they talk about themselves a lot.

The front entrance was confusing. I wasn't sure I was in the right place as it felt like I had entered just the office area. But the rest of my experience was great! Tracy was helpful and the unit was nice. It was the first place my mom said "I like this one! I dont want to look anymore! "

Seemed warm and inviting, could really see my parents being happy here but Dad thinks the price is too high.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Vayada also very friendly and helpful. They worked hard to make my mom feel comfortable and meet her needs. She is looking forward to stay at Broadway Proper long term. Cost display was for a 1 bedroom with extra services

My parents have been at Broadway Proper and seem to be adjusting well. It is mainly an independent living facility with some assistant living. The fees go up the more help you need (as with most facilities). Wish they had al a carte services instead of lumping them all together so you only paid for what you needed. Monthly price only includes two meals per day and one of them has to be breakfast. They have plenty of activities for the residents. My mother, who is in the mid stages of dementia, was very hesitant about leaving her home and moving to an apt. but now she is very comfortable there.

So far it's been great! I haven't gotten to visit a whole lot yet, but I haven't had any complaints or concerns. It seems to be clean, and the staff has been friendly. There really aren't any major issues. We are pretty happy with it.

This is one of the places we looked at when we were touring. They were not built as a retirement facility. They were built as a resort, and the room layouts were a little strange, they were narrow is some places and wide in others.

My experience with Atria Inn at Lakewood has been a good one. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is good, they have a set menu, but people have the option to order something else off of the menu if they choose. They keep the facility pretty clean, and one thing I really like about them is that they seem to keep the staff pretty current, instead of staff changing constantly.

Rms. and not many units have balconies except !st floor units,Flooded Lobby Area & 1st Floor Areas during HUGE storm.

This facility was nice. There was a musty smell in the hallways, but the rooms were nice. I'm a little confused on the pricing however. Are meals included?

When my loved one first moved in we had made arrangements for certain things to happen, that we were paying for, and some of them didn’t happen. That is my complaint, that things we had agreed on had not been provided. Things have been worked out now though. For the target population, I think the activities are good. Overall I think it’s a really good community and they do try really hard.

Good service. Recent updated kitchen facilities. Its like a park inside Colorado Springs. Mom feel at home in after one week.

I guess the one issue is that a lot of times the nursing staff isn’t completely up to date on the status of the patient – or the mix up the patients. My father seems to like the food. There is enough parking.

They’re an excellent value for the money. We’re very happy with them. The staff has been great and it’s a clean and safe environment.
