Staff and residents friendly and great except for main desk who can be difficult to deal with. Clean. Nicely decorated. Various activities. My room was small and really more costly than I could manage. That is why I left. The meals are ok if you get some of your own additional fresh produce. Vegetables need to be improved but almost impossible the way things are set up.

It's on our list as a potential solution to our long term needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities appear well cared after.

They have had some challenges since the ownership change, but she still is glad to be there. There are many activities, the staff is awesome, and she loves her room.

My cousin [name removed] is still settling in. She has been there about a month. She enjoys the activities she has tried Bingo ,a game she calls nickels, and some of the card games. She enjoys the social atmosphere at meals and is starting to eat with others. She does not always feel secure at night. She thinks someone tried once to enter her apartment at night.

Staff is for the most part super friendly. The front desk staff knows who we are as family and who we are there to see. Activities: lots of activities, games. I do wish there were more cognitive type activities to help with those who have dementia and Alzheimer's. Food is ok. Nothing special, and the hours for the dining hall seem super limited. My mother in law wishes they were open all the time so she could just eat when she wanted to. Cleanliness: the facility is kept very clean. They are supposed to do weekly cleaning and linen changes and I haven't been able to really notice if those are truly being done or not. Room size: the one bedroom apt is a good size. My mother in law is still very active so we wanted to make sure she had a good space to still do thing things she wants to do in her own space as well.

First off ....I love this place! I have a two bedroom with a full kitchen. I will admit the food isn't always to my liking , but I think that's the norm for most of these facilities. All staff I've met are very friendly and helpful. My cleaning gal comes once a week , changing and launders my bedding and cleans my apartment .

Overall we're pretty happy with it. They are consistently short-staffed; the dining room moves slowly. No real complaints beyond that. I would recommend to others.

Entire staff at GG were fantastic. Easy to work with. Still keep in touch with [name removed]. Care staff were all great. Might add individual housekeeping could've been better. But I know it's an ongoing battle, Attention to detail like making sure they have water,, etc. My Mom was only there a month, She has no recollection of it.

Compared to other facilities that I have toured, this is the nicest. Rooms were spacious. Eating facilities and menus looked great. Location was nice since it is not on a busy street. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of workout equipment. Other facilities have rooms with treadmills, rowing machines, free weights etc. Lincoln court said they had a few machine but they could only be used if you were on some program (implying rehab use only and therefore usage for a limited period of time).

The residents seem happier than the previous facility my dad was in. They're more social. My dad was in [community removed]for five months. In that time, only one person learned his name and spoke to him regularly, but that was just on passing. The man seemed fascinated that my dad had driven 3 million miles as a trucker. He has been at Winslow Court since the end of December. He has made several friends, and has even been gardening with one of them. It's a totally different atmosphere. At WC, the residents aren't treated like just a commodity. They are valued as people.

There is new management as ownership has changed hands. There should be improvements in the dining experience as they are remodeling the kitchen. Hopefully they will continue with the quality of care and friendliness. I hope the new administrative staff will be good for the employees as well as residents.

It's a nice facility with beautiful grounds for walking or just sitting and taking in nature. Lots of amenities offered, with a variety of activities for everyone. The Friday afternoon happy hour with entertainment is also a fun event. The dining room offers a variety of meals. The facility does need some updating, but was told that will come with time.

[name removed] was very nice and very enthusiastic about this community. I definitely will be asking to set up another Tour to bring my stepdaughter‘s and my brother to visit the facility.

Clean & friendly. Very little pet accommodations. Not ruled out but we will continue to look. We are not in immediate need and did like a monthly plan with several levels of assistance.

It was very similar to other facilities viewed that day. I enjoyed meeting some of the residents. [name removed] did as well but nothing stood out to him about the place itself. He is still looking.

Very nice facility. Good tour. Questions were answered. Still undecided and working with our mother.

In this situation, I would tell others that you need to be vigilant about making adjustments for their loved ones care. Family will notice before the staff will!

Housekeeping also does a wonderful job of maintaining the private room. Due to the fact that we've had our loved in there a year and they changed ownership once and head nurses twice, and activities coordinator position was consolidated so some of the daily activities seemed to no longer be done. But the food is good, staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, they are personable and do take great care of our loved one. In general we are happy with the memory care portion of La Sonora

There was a management change in November or December. Activities seem to be good. Mother does not participate in much. PT staff on sight good Food ok Hairdresser and manicurist on sight on Wednesdays good. Cleaning and maintenance staff has been changing a-lot and rooms are not being cleaned consistently. They sell a weekly deep clean and that has not happened since she arrived. Its basically a vacuum and a bedding change when there is staff available.

The residents all seem very happy and engaged.
