I recently moved, largely because I prefer more vegan and fresh food. For independent living, it is great. If one needs more help it is lacking but then maybe you should be elsewhere.

Both the clients and the staff were delightful and enthusiastic. As it was a holiday weekend, I assumed that all the decorations were for people visiting, especially children. For future clients, many of us have no children. So the decor felt childish. Understanding that the “apartment “ I was shown was under renovation, the single bedroom seemed incredibly small and the “bones” of the place outdated, particularly the storage, bathroom, and kitchen. Concerned that having a dishwasher, and washer/ dryer was not guaranteed due to the age of the place and plumbing issues. I would also miss having some kind of garden space associated with this facility.

[name removed], an employee that worked on the administrative staff was incredible. She always had a smile and got things done. Service staff was poorly trained and it showed. Every meal was a minimum of 10 wait to be acknowledged by the staff, busy or not.

They are in memory care. Staff is fabulous, food is good. My only complaint is communication could improve and the director of the whole building is not good. Department heads are great. My parents are happy and well cared for. Care takers are amazing and love on them. Activities are good but I wish memory care got out a little more.

This community has a friendly vibe and is nicely-located in a lake side neighborhood. The amenities are plentiful and the common areas have been remodeled. We are looking for a one bedroom and their units are a nice size with good closet and living space. The "pass thru" style kitchen is a bit dated and the units could use more remodeling. The living room is quite dark but functional. The staff is welcoming and they offer nice amenities.

My sister had a studio. It was fine for her needs. When I was there to visit, the staff was very nice and helpful. She did not go to meals like she could have but I ate there for several days when I took her and picked her up a year later. I thought good and menses were very good along with the service. Sister did not take advantage of all service. She had some dementia and got worse. I had to get her a year later cause she could not care for herself.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant needs more help, services is very slow. There aren't many activities outside of the facility.

Food is good. Response is quick if there is a problem like plugged toilet or sink. Most staff is friendly and helpful. Feel very safe both outside and in my apartment

Granite Gate is awesome. The people there are so kind and accommodating. The food is excellent. I would recommend

We had a difficult situation with residents health deteriorating so quickly before she was able to get proper medical help. Watermark was very understanding and helped all they could. The aides, techs, nurses are all very kind. Resident has had her treatments and is currently in rehab hoping to return to Watermark soon, needing much less assistance.

The staff is friendly and they genuinely care about taking care of the residents. Even the cook will come out of the kitchen to check on the residents. There is a family atmosphere, and you can always find people out in the living room.

Great staff, clean facility and met our needs for a short term stay.

The biggest issue we had was when we couldn't reach my mom and I called the front desk and asked if they could go knock on her door and see if she was there. The person at the desk said she couldn't leave the desk unattended, but she would look in about an hour. I didn't find this acceptable and said surely there is someone there who could take one minute to go check. But no. She ended up being fine but she could have just as easily had fallen and laid on the floor for who knows how long. But overall I really think that Thunderbird was very good.

The Forum is a great choice - as one of the residents told us early on - most of the residents don't want to be there - they would rather be with family or with loved ones - but if you need an independent/assisted living option it is a great place to the people and staff are friendly, apartments are clean and nice sized. The kitchen has been great but has been having some slight issues as of late.

We are very happy with Lakewood Reserve! Our mom is doing as well as she can be at her age and Lakewood Reserve is a wonderful facility with great staff!

It is a very nice looking independent living place. Everything looked very nice lots of different things to do there. The outside looked quite niceand the view of the sandia moutains. It is a very good view and the prices and within reason.

We would rate the overall experience a 4.5. Although we only stayed at The Palms for 2 months, we did like it pretty well. The apartment had good storage and a laundry on the balcony. The management kept the place very clean and in good repair. The food was generally good, but we didn't care for the hours. The grill closed at 5:30, and the dining room at 6:00. We were used to eating a little later. There are people available for caregiving and dog walking at a reasonable price, but they have to be scheduled ahead. Assisted living is available in the same building. There is a pool and exercise room. No lifeguard. The gardens are very nice. Also, parking is gated, and there seem to be a number of activities. Hope this is helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Overall experience was good. Staff was very friendly. There were plenty of activities scheduled throughout the day. Food options were tasty. There was only soda or water offered during lunch. Room size was good and the rooms were clean. The only concern I had was that I was never asked to identify myself at the front desk, just had to sign in and then was let into the facility. [name removed], the Director of the facility was amazing and quickly responded to all my inquiries, very good communication and took good care of us.

Wonderful sraff. Lovely cared for facility. Lunch was well presented and tasty.. The rooms were some what specious. Decent price monthly. I am ot a fan of where it is located. It is gated, which helps. Residents appear happy, which is important to me.

Excellent full circle tour of of a very nice facility. From start to finish, we were well tended to, all questions answered, and we left with a feeling that this would be a balanced place for our relative.
