My friend likes her room, but does not like the long walk to her room. She likes the food. The staff there is very friendly too.

This facility is very spacious and beautiful with lots of amenities and accommodations. The staff is caring, warm and willing to help. The place is clean and well maintained. The residents here are very nice as well.

So far, this seems to be a pretty good place. I am pleased with the staff, the care of the residents, and the activity level. I really do not have any complaints as we have not been here long. There were a couple of small problems at the beginning, but nothing worth mentioning.

My difficult and demanding mother in-law 'Susan' (not her real name) has been a resident for about 1 1/2 years. My father-in-law died, and within a month of his death, it became clear that Susan, having never lived alone in her entire life (not uncommon for this generation), was unable to function alone. Although she initially resisted the idea of living in a senior residential setting, Broadway Proper (BP) has been the right choice for her. Transportation to shopping, doctors, and personal errands is available. Meals are healthy and well-balanced, with the option of either eating all 3 meals in the dining room or choosing 2 meals in the dining room and cooking one in her kitchen apartment. An audiologist and podiatrist visit regularly. Apartments are vacuumed and dusted, bathroom and kitchen cleaned, and trash emptied weekly. Bed linens are changed, with sheets and towels laundered and returned to the apartment weekly. These services are part of the monthly rent. Assisted living is available, too. BP is required to follow a level of care to respond to a resident's self-reporting fall or fainting spell. As with many elderly people who lose a spouse, Susan became reclusive, not eating, and then began concocting schemes to be taken to the emergency room for what she told us was her need for "special attention" such as massages and meals in bed. Other than a minor urinary tract infection, the hospital visits were unnecessary. Now, The BP staff escorts her to her meals so that we can all make sure she consumes the calories she needs. The dining room staff is especially kind and patient with her. Although Susan was fully capable of preparing a light meal and doing her personal laundry, once she discovered that BP also offered the additional laundry service (at an additional fee), she requested the it. She also requested enhanced care to help with twice-weekly showering, hair washing, twice-daily AM/PM dressing, and medications. There is a full service salon onsite haircuts (men and women), perms, dyes, mani/pedis. The grounds are beautiful, with many opportunities for socializing, learning new skills, exercising (wonderful personal trainer!), etc. Beautiful swimming pool and spa, too! Holiday events are celebrated with special activities and meals. The staff continues to be incredibly kind and caring towards Susan during this difficult transition time, although I know she wears their patience quite thin. Although clean and well-kept, Susan's unit appears to be circa 1980s. It is our understanding that apartments are gradually undergoing upgrades with new kitchen cabinets, countertops, bathroom vanities, and fixtures and faucets. BP is a VERY safe, healthy place for Susan to be at in this phase of her life. It is unfortunate that skilled nursing isn't offered, as Susan will eventually need it as she further ages. BP is not a Medicare-funded facility, so be prepared to spend $$$$. Additional meals, laundry, showering, medicine administration, etc. will drive up the costs; however, if your elderly parent doesn't need to rely on these 'extras', this is a reasonably-priced senior complex, especially if they ditch their car that requires insurance and maintenance! BTW - not ONCE have we ever been met with the smell of urine lingering at this facility.

Mom does not like the people at Winslow Court. The residents are too old and mom is in good health, it just doesn't seem to be a good mix. She has really had a hard time adjusting here. The residents are very clicky. She doesn't like the food. The grounds are nice but it is an older establishment. Mom does not like that everyone can come into her apartment at any time. All the staff have a key and I think they need more boundaries. Overall it is a nice facility, it is just not a good fit for mom.

I was impressed with the knowledge and experience and enthusiasm of the staff. I especially like the fact that they had the residents plan the activities. I really like the accommodations they offer between assisted and independent living. I just wish they had a patio door to the outside.

There staff is very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend for anyone moving in to check first because they don't have much help to move in, like they only have one cart and it's not working well. They had a lot of challenges this year, but they worked through them and kept the residents who lived there happy. The extra care you get is above and beyond and I am happy with it.

I guess the Emeritus at Cliff View could improve on their furniture being updated a little bit. The meals seem to be okay though. I have not been there much myself, so this all just comes from my mother.

Excellent established facility in downtown area but has a wait list. Nice atrium area for dining, large balconies for rooms that have them, small but fully functional kitchens. Anyone considering an independent living option in the SLC area should check this facility out since it appears to set the standard. I had checked it out for comparison only, knowing it was out of the desired location range for my mother's residence and wish that wasn't an issue.

They have a nurse there that is very good at contacting family members any time something goes wrong. We really do appreciate the proactive communication and them keeping us in the loop and informed on how things are going. And overall things are going well and we have been pleased.

We have had a very positive experience with Thunderbird Senior Living. The facility is currently being worked on with some updates, but other than the work in progress there it is a very nice and clean facility. The staff there are all very kind and helpful. My dad has only been there for a couple of months but so far everything is going well.

We toured the Atria Inn at Lakewood. We thought it was very nice but over priced. Overall, This was a very nice community with a friendly atmosphere. It was just over priced. The tour went well. Everyone was nice.

Overall I think they do a good job at Broadway Proper. The staff here are very friendly, and they have a lot of activities to keep everyone active and entertained. The facility itself is nice looking, although I do think the housekeeping could do a bit better job keeping it tidy. I've also found pills left out in my loved one's room by the med-techs, which is definitely something they should be more careful about. But overall it is a nice place, and they take good care of her!

Its been pretty good. I found the people to be very helpful and friendly. I have some concerns about the food. They have a menu on the website and they don't serve those meals. The staff has been awesome and personable. They are very helpful.

So far it has been good. It took a while for my mother to transition. This is a very nice community. I rated all of the categories 5 except for the activities because If its a dementia patient they are not allowed outside without supervision. That was important for my mother because she likes being outside in the sunshine. Other than that this is a good community. It is very clean and the staff is so friendly.

Overall things have gone well at Thunderbird Senior Living. When we moved in there was a bit of miscommunication which complicated things, and I think the follow-up with the resident ambassador program could use some work, but for the most part we are satisfied by the services they provide. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take good care of the people who live here.

We are very happy with them, and she is doing well there. They do a good job with the food. It's well kept, and the staff is friendly. We are having a little bit of trouble with the hot water, but other than that everything is good.

Overall I think they do a good job at Pueblo Norte Senior Living! The staff is friendly and professional, and they keep the facility looking well kept and clean. Really my only concern is that on Sundays they do not offer breakfast or dinner, which makes it hard for my loved one who does not cook at all at this point.

The only problem is there is a lack of coordination when a person moves they drop the ball. Mom keeps getting some else's mail or not gets her mail and had to wait for 3 weeks to get mom's storage box. Admin needs to get better coordinated for the patients. The dining staff are wonderful, welcome her call her by name.

Seems to be a very nice place meals are given and staff is friendly.
