I moved in to Broadway Proper and it took a few days to realize this wasn't for me. There were too many people that were needing more assistance than I would need. It made for a chaotic time at meal times. I would recommend the community to others who's loved ones need more assisted living assistance. The staff were very friendly and nice to work with.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked it, the tour guide was very good and very informative with everything they were showing us. They had their residents out of their rooms doing different things. They also have a really nice gathering room right in the front of the community.

Not as clean environment with smaller rooms and smaller hallways.

They were pretty good. I don't know about activities as my client did not partake. My client had some supplements and vitamins. The nursing staff did an excellent job handling all his needs. Of all the places I have been to as a caregiver and worked in as a contractor, I felt that they were 1 or 2 notches below the best. They are in between the best you will find and the average.

This has turned out to be a very nice place for my loved one to move to. My loved one has made friends here. There have been residents that left and came back because they missed the friendliness of the community. The staff are great to work with and are helpful. They quickly make changes to assist the family with their loved ones. The food has been a challenge; however, the food is getting better, and the community recently hired a new chef. Some of the activities available for the residents are choir, tai chi, yoga, arts and crafts, self improvement classes, and more for the residents to stay engaged with. There is a beauty salon on site that will allow for residents to get their hair and nails done.

This community was not in the best neighborhood and it is very hard to get to. It was just not the right community for our loved one.

Walking into this community it is very grand, it is so welcoming. Sometimes our concern is with the staffing and the turnover rate and being short handed but they are so attentive and helped our loved one transition from assisted living to memory care which we appreciated.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one likes the staff here and it seems they are really good to them. One of my loved ones favorite activities is bingo. The community has some additional activities to offer as well. There has been some lockdowns due to COVID in the past few months.

Right when you walk in, the community is very open, light and there is always someone there to greet you. You feel very welcomed right away and we would recommend this community to others. We like how our loved ones had a small kitchen in their apartment, it makes a big difference because it is more personable.

Our family had an in person tour and for the price and location it was just not going to work. It is somewhat an age in place community so the pricing is a little bit more. The community is a little older, but it is very well kept, the unit themselves seems like they really invested their money into them to make them comfortable. You can tell they keep up with any repairs that are needed.

I really liked Pacifica, it was in our top 3 choices. I got along with the director and she was very personable. It was a little more run down, but it had a great location.

We chose Thunderbird Senior Living because it was the best value for the money out of the ones that we looked into. They are very responsive and great with communication. Staff is always professional and caring. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Broadway proper because mom liked this facility the best. The apartment sizes vary, compared to others we looked at they were average. I think that they could offer more traditional comfort foods every once in a while, they serve a lot of elegant meals. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Courtyard at Jamestown because of the fact that they had quick availability and also we had some friends who actually worked here so it was nice having familiar faces. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. All of my dealings with the staff have been very favorable. I like this community for my loved one.

It is a very nice place, right when you walk in the independent dining hall is there to greet you and it is very nice. The people there are wonderful and so friendly. We do see a lot of board games for the residents but they aren't taking them out on outings at the moment.

So far the management has been professional, helpful, and accomodating. My parents love the food and the servers have been an absolute delight to them when delivering their meals to their room. Maintenance has been very responsive and made sure their TV and pictures got hung during the move in. The care team is also good. They are always accessible and deliver my parents medication in a timely manner. Overall, the value cannot be beat at other communities in the area and we did our research before moving them here.

They are short on food service staff right now but are in the process of hiring some to fix the situation. However it just takes time to get them trained. They have a nice variety of activities I just have not had the time to participate.

A new company bought us out. The food was better for a couple of weeks but now it is not good. We used to get a variety of desserts and more choices. The portions have gotten smaller and no more bread or rolls served. The nutritional value of the food is not good. Also no choices for vegetarians. We used to have a choice of shrimp or fried fish. The new company seems to just be trying to save money hoping us seniors won't notice. Also we don't get happy hour anymore where we used to get served drinks. The entertainment could be better. We just have the same entertainers over and over. But one thing that has improved is the housekeeping and food servers have improved greatly. The staff at the desk and [name removed] the driver are great. My apartment is really nice It costs a lot to live here and I moved here for the food especially as I like to dine with people. So I have become disappointed mostly with the food. The staff and residents are very friendly.

This was a nice community.
