The residents are nice and welcoming and overall it has a good atmosphere. The facility is old so they are slowly renovating it. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families if you are not looking for frills and posh.

For the most part, I love living here. The residents are very nice. That's one of the things which makes it nice to live here. The apartments here are larger than any other place we looked at prior to moving here & they are nice, also cost less than some others we looked at. My only complaint is that I'm vegetarian and there aren't many vegetarian options and sometimes food has to be returned to be heated. My husband & I are happy to live here.

Each unit is an outdoor entrance. No high rise to walk endless hallways and floors. Also has natural grass in complex. They are undergoing an extensive renovation that will make it even better. Don't have any improvement suggestions

The staff at The Groves are very kind people. Our tour was very welcoming and our guide, [name removed], had impeccable manners and was so very helpful at getting my parents an apartment and acquainted with h ty sir new environment and home. The staff, from cleaning, to nursing to dining are all very friendly and helpful. I can see my parents are having “growing pains” with Dad getting his medication on time as prescribed by his specialist. This is a joint communication issue between The Groves medical staff and the Specialist Doctor though. Overall, I am quite happy with the care my parents are receiving.

Although compared to other places, I think it probably deserves higher. I mean in general it's a nice place. They have a fully enclosed indoor area so you don't have to go outside to get to different places. They have a nice pool area that is within the center of the complex and it's always heated. Food wise, they offer a special every night, so you can get from the normal on changing menu or can elect to get the special. We've eaten there maybe five or 10 times. I think the food is pretty decent for what it is. The rent is about [amount removed], which doesn't include cable. Those prices were kind of in the middle compared to other places we looked at. But I think it's the best value for what offered.

I would recommend their memory care to others. My mother participates in more daily activities than at her last facility. We were attracted to them because of the location, room size, daily activities, & cost.

This facility has a management company working for the owners. Most people here do not like the management company that is now running this facility, which is frontier. They need to have more live entertainment, maybe on a weekly basis. They've only had two live entertainments In the past year. A piano player that is not very good at all came A few Wednesday nights. There was a mariachi band who performed one time however, they were wonderful. The food menu needs more food choices.

They are all very helpful and kind. Their staff has been with them for a long time which means a lot.

The Auberge has recently updated its facility with new floors, paint, decor and furnishing. These updates reflect a clean, modern, welcoming place to call home. The staff is caring and loved by current residents as well as their family members, friends, and volunteers.

We were in a hurry and picked them because of the proximity. The meals is an area that I found disappointing I took my mother to eat in the cafeteria once and the meal was really subpar.

Where we are now offer's things Thunderbird could not; 2 balconies, washer and dryer in the apt, stainless steel kitchen appliances and two walk in bathrooms and most importantly to me, my sister "happy". I do miss the food and how they offered choices, and the friends I made at Thunderbird, but I've made friends here and the staff is exceptional. And it's affordable; I've been able to save money versus not! Thank you!

We have found everyone very friendly. They all take three jobs very seriously. Everything is very clean. The dining room is comfortable, the food is hot and appealing. Easy to reach our parent by caregiver line. Very secure facility.

Having my spouse of 50 years suddenly in assisted living has been difficult and sometimes overwhelming. My spouse has been disoriented and strong willed, but staff has been very patient and kind. Things are improving. This is a great facility.

I have learned good things and bad things. Care staff is there and ready to help I've made good friends in my time here.

Overall I am happy, took a while for my folks to get in the groove with staff etc. I like that they have all levels of care, independent, AL and Memory Care...My folks are in AL, but we will be moving them to memory care in the next couple of months. There was a bit of a hiccup when Stellar Living took over in March around cost ..but I was able to work through that with them.

My siblings and I moved Dad to Lakewood Reserve in March 2023. He is very happy there. He is very social but won't join in the many activities that are offered. That is his choice, not anything that Lakewood Reserve does. There has been a recent staff change so I don't know many of the current staff well. When I call and speak with the receptionists they are always very nice and helpful. My sister visits Dad several times a week (I live out of state) and always tells me how nice and helpful the receptionists, CNAs, and whom ever she interacts with are. Before the staffing change, the administrator was trying to do monthly zoom meetings with family members regarding what was going on at Lakewood Reserve. That has not continued and I wish it would. All on all, I'm happy with the care Dad gets and would recommend Lakewood Reserve.

We chose Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living because of the cleanliness and wide variety of activities offered. The administration staff and kitchen management staff seem difficult at times.

They could have more variety at least monthly on the menu. And the price

I thought my mom got very good treatment in memory care. My dad was in independent living and is now in assisted living. I feel like his care is less good, but mostly I think that is because he is bad at accepting care. Overall, I've been pretty happy and would recommend it to others. Actually, the son of my next door neighbor is taking her to the Forum today to see if she would be willing move in!

Staff and everyone here is very friendly and do their best to help each other.
