Loved the facility and also their memory care unit. Was a little pricey.

The employees were by far the best. Some confusion on the touring schedule but we got our tour from one of the nurses. She did NOT have room pricing. Set up assessment of my father at his place (Tuscany). Loved the people tha assessed him. This would by my first choice.

Positives-The director is a fantastic ambassador of facility and obviously the residents love him. Older facility but everyone seemed very happy and friendly. Great staff retention. Dining room open 7a-7p- ie no set meal times which supports the social environment. Independent living includes 3 meals daily. Nice alcoves for casual socialization. Apts smaller than Arbor Village but have full kitchens which was very important to Mom. If AL was needed, no need to move within facility. 24 hour RN lives on site with two additional LPN's on each of two shifts. Button in bathroom to "check in" each day by 10:30am. Emergency pulls in each room. Because it's older, hallways are more narrow, lighting adequate, decor more traditional - No memory care secure area. 1 and 2 BR units available. Seemed very flexible to residents desires - for apt type, activities, and food.

It would be a great option for somebody who could afford it. Definitely a place to continue living and enjoying living. the staff are all very caring people.

The staff was/is excellent. We were able to sample a meal and it was delicious. The staff and residents are warm and friendly with a feel of family. Honestly, I can't think of anything that was "less." I strongly believe that Mom is safe and comfortable.

The surroundings are lovely and well kept. The food and food service has been terrific. Really enjoyable, well prepared meals and the serving staff is friendly and helpful. If we do not want what is being prepared for the daily specials, we have a wonderful list of entrees that we can order anytime. The staff has been very very responsible to our requests for help or maintenance. Great bunch of people to be in a community with. Very happy with our decision to move here.

I toured Broadway Proper Senior Living and it was a good tour. We chose another community because Broadway was a huge place and I thought it would be a little overwhelming for my mom. They also don't offer direct care, so if she got sicker she would have to move to a different community.

Right when we came to The Oaks we knew this was the place for our loved one, they had a huge welcome sign for us and we were greeted by half their staff team. We just absolutely love the staff - they treat all the residents with dignity and respect, they do not talk down to them and if a resident needs to be redirected they do it in an appropriate manner. We visit on Fridays and Saturdays and the activities coordinator is just fantastic. She is absolutely amazing, she does not treat them like babies, she engages in full conversations with them. When we do visit they are all very communicative and when we are away the staff are still very communicative. We know she is in a great hands there, we are very happy with the experience so far and we would recommend The Oaks to anyone in a heartbeat.

Working with Thunderbird was great, but my parents found Thunderbird on their own before I even contacted A Place for Mom. It was probably partly thru checking out some of the recommendations from APFM that they realized Thunderbird was the place for them.

I love it and my parents do as well. The only issue we have had is the medication issue. I think its not facility issue versus state requirements possibly creating issues. They have a lot of activities. They get the residents out and about in the community. The food is great, they loved the food. The staff is wonderful, they know everyone by name. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am very pleased with the choice my husband and I made bringing my parents to Overlake Terrace.

They're friendly and open. It's a clean facility that serves good food. I would recommend them to others. They're a little short-staffed, but it's been good overall. They try their hardest and do the best that they can. They're a little bit more expensive, but we chose that on purpose.

We would of given the community 5 stars all the way, but they are going though some change in management so the meal quality has declined some. However we give them high remarks when it comes to the grounds, it is very aesthetically pleasing to look at. Also they are very flexible with residents coming and going, we can take our loved one out of the day or overnight which is really nice.

The feedback we have heard from our loved one is that the meals and dining service is pretty decent. The community has tried their best to re-open as quickly as possible and bring back those activities.

Everything that we have seen of the community has been very clean, and as far as the friendliness of the staff members and their care they provide that has been good as well. The activities are still pretty limited, our father enjoys the food but our mother is not the biggest fan. We would recommend Courtyard At Jamestown to others

The staff members are a five plus, they are just excellent. Our loved one being 100 years old sometimes says the food is served cold and lacks in vegetables, but we also take that feedback with a grain of salt. The activities are still limited so they aren't able to do their margarita nights, or wine down Friday's but they do have bingo and exercise classes. They really are trying their best given the circumstances. We think the value for cost is exceptionally good.

My experience is with Creekside during covid. This facility has not had one positive case of covid, they were and have been very proactive and are doing great at keeping the residents safe. Mom will need memory care soon, the staff is accommodating and keeping her in assisted living as long as possible. The attitude of the staff is great, they are very patient and kind and are always cheerful and have a smile on their faces. I have eaten in her room with her sometimes and the food is fantastic. The dining area is big and beautiful and they have plenty of staff to be servers. They get 2 choices for all meals and if they don't want what is being served they can order other things that are always on the menu. We are very impressed.

Lincoln Court has done an outstanding job at keeping Covid away from our family members during this pandemic. They have done an exceptional job at finding ways to allow us to see our loved ones. They keep the facility in excellent condition and the staff truly cares for our loved ones. This is a huge comfort. The food is excellent! They have many different activities to keep the residents engaged and busy. I appreciate all they have done for my mother. I have had the opportunity to meet many of the residents and they are wonderful. My mother really likes it and is happy and healthy. Thank you Lincoln Court!

My brothers and sisters and I have been very pleased with our experience with Lincoln Court. They have stretched the guidelines as much as possible to accommodate us in our visits with Mom since my Dad’s passing. All the aids that I shave met are super friendly and upbeat and brighten Mom’s days. Good work!
