There has been a new takeover and I have complaints. Like, pharmacy restrictions and not giving my dad his meds on a couple of occasions. They now charge people for laundry and cleaning. The head guy has not even called me back.

The med techs were great and I really appreciated the communication they provided. There were some challenges here and there but for the most part i felt informed. I noticed that there was not a lot of a specific activities geared towards male residents. Granted, I think there were a total of five, this did cause my loved one to isolate themselves A bit more than I wanted

What we like the most about the community is the level of care, the friendliness of the staff members as well as the management. Yes, we would recommend Sunflower Springs community to other families.

Overall a 4.5 for each category, except the food gets a 5, its excellent and the activities also get a 5. What we like the most about the community is that it is less restrictive than others in terms of eating arrangements. In addition to three set meals a day, they have a day long menu with casual meals such as grilled cheese, etc. Golf simulator, wellness center. Food is excellent!

The activities Director was amazing. She went out of her way to try to get my dad to participate in things and to have things to participate in. The food was also very good. The staff was very kind. I would recommend this community to others

The initial visit is pretty good. However once you are in, they pretty much disappear. My sister is happy here though.

Nice building it’s maintained great. Painted and carpets done, it looks current and up to date. I like that we have outside space and I can fly my drone and relax. I like that they keep me happy with good sense of humor. The bus will take me to anywhere I need to go.

I receive great care and the staff is considerate. They always check in on me and help. The in house therapy they have amazing patience and help me get stronger. I am able to decorate my room the way I like it to make me feel comfortable.

The place is fine. It works wonders For My Mother. I would recommend to others.

What we like the most about the community is that the facility and management are great. The nursing staff is lacking in service training and response. Also financial issues and billing are very complex and not what was originally agreed upon. I would recommend the facility but there are services that need to be addressed such as the nursing staff and financial issues.

Room size is very good. 20 yrs ago my Father In Law was there. 6 yrs ago my Mother In Law was there. 3 yrs ago my sister In Law was there Both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law were at both facilities --one on S. Village Dr. and also the one on Fletcher Avenue both in Tampa, Florida. We were impressed all three times we had dealings with them --the only complaint was generally the cost, which is pretty substantial for us, but overall, we've been very happy with them. Several times a month I would myself attend with my mother-in-law to have lunch in the dining room, which is very enjoyable

Everything is good. My Dad is in memory care. He is accustomed to the out of doors and building things. I would like to see more of those kinds of things. I would also like to see more animal therapy - you know, people bringing in therapy dogs. Many have left their beloved pets behind.

Overall, my mother likes it. She is not a complainer but says the food is not very good. Says the salad is not even good. Later meal is a light fare which she says isn't even worth going down for. She is very active and says they do have activities but only a few people participate so she is concerned they will stop planning things. Except for going out to lunch (which I guess is because food is not so good there) Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else.

Staff was absolutely amazing. People are so incredibly friendly. They truly care about the people there. My in laws unfortunately didn't get to stay there more than a few weeks before circumstances changed, but we were very happy with the time they spent there. Only complaint was the food. Wish they would have had more options for them.

[community removed] is now Hunt Trace and we are very happy with our accommodations. They just renovated and the place looks good. Not liking some of the surprise hidden costs.

The part of the facility that my husband is in is Memory care. This area is very nice. Well kept and the staff are very helpful. They have freshly made meals every day.

The facility is hard to get a hold of when you are calling in. My MIL is happy there. They just hired a bunch of new staff so they are still learning and it's a little harder to get questions answered if needed.

Some weeks I'd give it a 4+ some a 2. The higher score is because of warm food, quick friendly service, a newly cleaned apartment, help with shower and my laundry and sensitivity to my physical condition. I don't find the activities interesting on the whole. Why not involve more residents. They've probably got some unusual stories they could share. Rustle up some group activities that might include interacting with peers. My apartment is a big plus. Both my [name removed] and I enjoy it and I greatly appreciate having it. The porch seems to double the space. Assisted Living can be a good experience for you and the family if you consider all the chores you no longer need to do. and all the responsibilities you no longer have to carry. You can visit, play games, pursue hobbies, do exercise.

The overall experience has been great. Warm friendly staff. The residents seem to be happy together. They staff keep my dad and the residents active with crafts, special guest (exercise class, musicians, dog visit). The decorate for the season and it always is fragrant and clean. The meals appear hearty and dad always cleans his plate. The room size is great and personable as well as the memory care unit as a whole. Cozy and easy to navigate.
