The staff, meals, activities and value for cost are also great. I think that this facility is a great place. Question 2: it's not that the place is dirty it's that it's showing its age. Carpets are quite stained and walls pretty dinged up. All of this is normal wear and tear. I would recommend a more modern color pallet going into the future. Other places I saw were a little more tidy and new but villa provided more room square footage. Question 6: We are new to assisted living. My mom was in independent before for 4 years. She is used to more mind games and competition. She misses intellectual stimulation. She is quite unhappy there. She doesn't think she belongs there. Management helped me to understand that this is a normal reaction to age progression. I am very satisfied with the choice for my mom

My wife has only been here a short time, but so far the experience has been positive. Activity list that is published is not followed, but they do have movies for the group and providing snacks in the evening. This is a much better facility than others that I looked at.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Colonnade at Carrollwood and her experience at this facility was overall good. From my initial visit there, it was a warm family atmosphere and the residents were in the lounge area and in good spirits. The staff, cleanliness, meals and activities were all good. I would recommend The Colonnade at Carrollwood to family and friends.

The Executive Director at The Village at Southlake is truly amazing. If other departments are slacking, she will pick up the slack and do what needs done. The meals are good and we eat there with our loved one on Sundays. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff is also great. The activities are good. I would recommend The Village at Southlake to family and friends. Our loved one is very happy there!

Sunflower Springs is a wonderful place to live. When I moved here I planned to live the rest of my life here, The food is delicious, especially the soups. Everyone is caring and helpful. Tragedy struck, and my daughter's husband passed away. I need to move closer to her so I'll be moving soon.
