Spring Arbor Senior Living

Spring Arbor is expensive, but we found the facility and the level of care was worth it.

We toured White Springs Senior Living for our mom, and quickly felt at ease with the sales director. She gave a thorough tour and was so helpful with educating us on the correct care setting. She knew every resident and you could feel the connection that she has with them. The community is very clean and welcoming. The location is perfect for us to be able to drop in and see mom.

I love the atmosphere here and how it feels like family. I have made many friends here and extended family. The activity programs are great and so much fun! I especially enjoy the socials. I love that we get to go out into the community as often as we do. I like to help out my friends and staff anyway I can. I consider this place my home and I feel very safe and comfortable here.

I would give them all a 10. Out experience there was great. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Activities were great. It was expensive, but well worth the money.

We are very pleased with Spring Arbor. My mom has a one bedroom. The rooms are large enough for almost all her furniture. This has made it really feel like home. The bathroom is very large as well. The staff is very polite and friendly. They know everyone's name! They serve 3 meals a day with choices at each meal. There is a kitchenette area in the apartment with a sink, refrigerator, microwave and cabinet space. Nurses are on duty 24/7 and manage all medications. Family members are always welcome and there are many special activities for families to attend (Easter activities, Kentucky Derby party, Mother's Day tea, etc. ). The residents have an outing once a month to a local restaurant, transportation provided. There are also many activities: exercise, walks, bingo, movies, etc. Spring Arbor has a lot to offer for assisted living residents.

Loved Spring Arbor! They have been open long enough that everything goes smoothly. The staff is fantastic. They are very professional but also warm and friendly. I would highly recommend Spring Arbor to everyone.

It is a good place for care! The staff truly cared about the residents. Their job was a ministry to them. They tried to meet the different individual needs of the residents.

The staff at Hearthside was very welcoming from the very first day. They continue to take great care of my mother, and she speaks very highly of them. The facility is always clean and inviting to guests. The apartments are clean and spacious. My mother enjoys the food at Hearthside, and the dining room staff very quickly learned what she likes, and does a great job of catering to those likes. At first, it seemed that Hearthside was more expensive than other senior living facilities, but it isn't. The price Hearthside gives is all inclusive, including laundry, transportation, food, Additional help if she needs it. The other facilities kept their base prices lower only because they then turned around and charged extra for all of the other services that can make a major life change so much easier.

My father and I chose Spring Arbor because SA is a smaller facility and dad felt other local facilities were too large. This smaller size facilitates a greater sense of community. The friendly staff get to know not only the residents, but also their families. Our overall experience has been wonderful. Dad is in AL and mom in MC. Everyone working at Spring Arbor are so attentive and truly care for mom and dad. Choosing to place a loved one in Memory Care is a difficult decision. Thanks to Spring Arbor, Mom has acclimated well to Memory Care. She is doing far better than I could have hoped for or imagined. I credit this to the caring work of the Cottage team. All are willing to help in any way, and they listen well. The entire facility is very clean which is also so important. We're very happy with our choice. We do believe Spring Arbor was the right decision for our family.

The place is beautiful, and very clean and well maintained. The staff is very personal. They know everyone's name, and family members, and they go out of their way to make each resident feel special. They have monthly resident meetings, and they almost always complain about the food. Some want one thing and others want something else. You can't please everyone all the time. My mom is used to eating out a lot. So for her, she'll never be happy. However there is a main menu, and an alternate menu for each meal. But you can always get soup and a cold cut sandwich, hamburger, or hotdogs. They desperately try to please everyone. Mom just keeps some microwaveable meals in her apartment. So if she can't find anything she wants, she heats up her meal in her apartment, and brings it to the dining room, so that she can eat with her table mates.

The staff is lovely and professional. Environment is clean and intimate. The facility always smells nice. The food has a high salt content and that can not be changed. We just don’t care for the institutionalized food.

Spring Arbor Kinston is a clean and cheerful/inviting place. The staff is always friendly and greets you by name. There is a calendar of many events and activities each month. It is displayed on a large bulletin board. There is a calendar for Assistive Living and another for Memory Care. They have a monthly newsletter with information and recognizes birthdays and anniversaries. My husband is in Memory Care now after being in Assistive Living for 3 months. He gets excellent care and individual attention and support. I'm very pleased with the care my husband receives here!

My mom has been in the memory care unit at The Piper for just over a year now. In that time she has never had a negative comment about the facility or any person on the staff. She does tell me on a regular basis how fortunate she is to be there and how nice everyone is to her and how good the food is. That is very comforting for me because I live in central Texas and I talk to her by phone a few times a week and get up there a few times a year. My brother and my niece are there routinely multiple times a week and none of us have ever seen or heard anything negative at all

I used A place for mom to find an assisted living facility for my mother. From the beginning they were very helpful. We go her moved in and she has adjusted well. Every staff member I have dealt with has been great. They are all so kind and patient with the residents. The activities director has done a great job getting my mother involved, which is not easy to do. The manager of good services is do sweet, going the extra mile to make sure my mother has food she likes. I recommend Spring Arbor.

Hate that it was time for my best friend to choose a new home I know it has to be a very difficult time in life when you have to go live with strangers So you must pick a loving clean and safe one I have been told that the food at the Canopy is delicious The lady that does hair is very good at Her job People are very kind Never be Home but the closest place to it

We were able to move my mother into White Springs Memory Care guilt-free. We did visit frequently, had excellent communication with staff, and observed superior care at all hours of the day. Weekday staffing seems perhaps a bit more attentive than weekend staff, and activities are far fewer on the weekends. Very expensive, but we were able to feel good about the choice we'd made, knowing my mother-in-law was well cared for physically, and that the staff truly knew and loved her.

Spring Arbor is an excellent place for your love ones . The staff are caring and loving to the residents that live there . The facility is spotless and excellent food. I felt the love and caring from the staff the moment I walked in and it continued until the passing of my Aunt. Each residents are treated like their own biological family . The residents were referred to as Aunts and grandmothers and fathers. It was a lovely environment to live in.

I would give the facility a 5 on all topics~ I feel very blessed to have found Dominion & the value is amazing!!! I feel very comfortable that Mom is residing there now. The staff is always one step ahead and they remember your name, they love my Mom. They go above and beyond to help.

The facility is very presentable when entering. (Clean with no smells). Facility is divided into 6 separate neighborhoods with their own dining and nursing staff. Receptionist [name removed] is the best!

I give them a #5 on all of the above. They have been amazing. They are expensive but they all are. I love the memory care unit for my mom who has dementia. This unit is completely secure and the patients can roam freely thru the unit. Also they only have 14 patients in the unit so they all kind of know each other. The place is kept clean and the food is very good. The staff are exceptional.
